okay, i'll juz type in ang first juz in case you dun understand
so you wanna know about brunei?
first of all, i hate geography so all these down here E & OE *glances at all the other bruneians reading*
brunei is a small country of 5,765 sq km consisting of four districts in total (ain't that small? but s'pore is smaller)
we have a low population density, most of those that populate our country are the civil servants and employees from other countries
main language is malay but eng is used like everywhere
main religion is muslim but we respect all the other religions here
u see even malay people celebrate chi new year with the chinese and the chinese come to their houses for raya celebration; in school, we celebrate both hiaks... it is so much fun!!
um... i think you know this already but our main ethnicity is malay; pure bruneians are well... malay *chuckles*
generally, we are free of air pollution (thx to Shell who provides us with unleaded petrol and the great cleanliness emphasis from the government)
but (this is interesting) once in a while, we students find out this: you sit in a classroom with this girl beside you who you'd first met... you became good friends for a good number of years then one day *surprise* you saw her at a formal function! "hey, she's your relative..!"
hiaks, that happens a lot around here...
we do have a lot of formal functions, for the malays, the weddings may stretch from three to seven days (some fourteen even ) okay, i seriously dunno wat to say and wat not to say
so if you have any specific questions, juz drop 'em here, i'll answer you if i know

serre is actually spelled serré pronounced sir-ray
it means 'close-knitted' in a foreign language, and i dun mean english language :x
i've been using it for so long, i dun really remember where i got it from anymore

oh goody, i'm kinda going thru and saw this thread
actually, i've been having really really bad dreams lately
okay here goes~ *takes deep breath*
first of all, for the last three years,. i've been having insomnia so obviously i don't sleep much nor dream much (for obvious reasons)
so, basically now that my insomnia is cured, i love to sleep but lately i've been having really weird dreams
once before, i dreamed being hugged by a man in my sleep (um... i dun have a bro and i sleep alone)
it felt so real as if somebody is really there beside me
then i dreamed that i was running from someone, i saw the blue car behind me
i dun recognise the car but i kept on running then i reached my house and i was fiddling with my keys
i was running with my two sisters (my sisters are right now abroad so i dun talk to them all that often)
but i was holding the key and before we could get in, i feel the person after us is very close and then i woke up with a start
these two dreams comes very very often that these days i am almost too nervous to even sleep
*shudders*
i'm not afraid of people hugging me but it feels so real i could actually smell his scent AND feel his warmth
and yet, i dun recognise him *gulps*
but that dream of almost being captured comes a lot
just last night, i dreamed i was in my room and they are fiddling with the keys outside
i was nervous until i woke up with a start again
i'm afraid, basically
if i dun respond fast, you could always PM me,
cos i'm kinda troubled here

Welcome!! This is a thread dedicated to those living or interested in Brunei Darussalam. ^^ our country sits in South East Asia, next to east Malaysia. In arabic, it is spelled as "بروني دارالسلام" directly translated into English as "State of Brunei, Abode of Peace".
