Someone tell me why, when you have a girlfriend (well, had, for 3 years) and are in love with her and she gives you everything and embraces everything about you (including your video game addiction, haha), you would leave her to date other girls 'to prove to myself that no one else measures up to you and that I'd be an idiot to let you go'. This logic just does not work, it's stupid. How can I mean anything to him if he can just throw me aside and date other people? Ugh, men. :l

Btw 'taepak' is a really bizarre romanization. Everyone I know would romanize 대박 'daebak'. That's using standard romanization.

Tiffany looked so beautiful in her duet with K.Will <33 Worried for her though, I really hope they let her rest her voice. She tried really hard and did really well, in spite of her voice being strained. ><" She'll only get better if they let her rest up. If she pushes herself too hard, she could really do herself some damage >__< I hope they let her lipsynch for a while, everyone would understand~~
The rooftop performance was a cool idea, I love all of the Genie perfs anyway but it was a nice change to have it in an unusual setting xD Idk, I don't get why people have such a big issue with SNSD's 'special treatment', we're all fans here, right? We should just be happy for them.. ^^; And it's not like it's SNSD's fault, they didn't exactly demand the boat and helicopter and all that jazz xD (And as Soy said, it could have been to help Tiffany out because she really seemed to be struggling in her duet and it's not good for her to overdo it if she's having issues with her voice right now)

I think many people in my parents' generation (and grandparents' generation) are very much against it. My dad even told my brothers that if either of them ever came out as being homosexual, they'd lose their inheritance :X I'm not sure if he was joking but honestly.. it wouldn't surprise me. He's very homophobic. And racist. And basically opposed to everything that is different to him.. v_v"
I know a few people who are homosexual, and a few who are bisexual. I have nothing against them or their orientation, their love life is none of my business :3 I think it's ignorant to judge a person just by their sexual preferences, there are many more important things than that, that define them as a person.
As for whether you are 'born' homosexual (genetics) or 'become' homosexual due to a combination of external factors, I don't know, I don't feel you can conclusively prove one or the other, or that it isn't some kind of combination of the two, or what. xD I'm hetero, and it's not a choice that I made, I've just always been attracted to males. I can't force myself to be attracted to someone I'm not attracted to, it's not something I can control. But I can't prove that my being hetero isn't just a result of my upbringing, rather than being 'how I'm wired up'. Idk. *headspin* xD

I'm Christian and my fiancé isn't but it doesn't really cause problems because we are both mutually accepting of the others' beliefs (or lack of them xD) and have the same moral values which we want to bring our kids up with, etc. My parents are Christian but are totally cool with him not being religious. (My family aren't very very religious either, though, whereas some are quite devout by contrast)

so his dad doesn't like her. Is that any reason for them to split? Not for a normal person who actually has a brain. Some kids are brainwashed into obedience by their parents and can't think for themselves, can't do anything without mummy & daddy's approval.. but this guy can actually think for himself and clearly doesn't care- he said his feelings for her weren't dependant on his parents accepting her. Sailorprinzess- I know it's hard but if his dad is going to be that unreasonable, then I'd just try as hard as I could to ignore him. It is very ignorant (and pretty un-Christian) to judge you just because you're not a devout Catholic like he is.. to completely ignore your personality and your positive traits and form an opinion of you based on just one thing. :/ (Especially since you're actually Christian anyway, at least you believe in the same God, same moral values etc. Wtf.)
If he's not going to give you a fair chance then don't waste your time trying to appease him. You're dating your bf, not his family. And while it sucks if his family won't accept you, if you really like each other you should still be able to make it work in spite of him. Your bf seems a lot more reasonable and doesn't have a problem with you, so try and focus on that, and on enjoying the time you spend with your bf.
His dad might come round, but it's not guaranteed and could take a long time. If you just be yourself and try to be pleasant whenever you see him, in spite of how he acts towards you, sometimes people can be swayed. If it goes long term and gets serious, he owes it to his son to at least try to get on good terms with you, otherwise it just shows how selfish he is. If he was a half-decent person himself, he would be more worried about whether you make his son happy, over whether you know how to pray at an altar or not.
Let him be bitter over it, if he really has nothing better to do with his time. If you show him you're not going anywhere, and that the two of you are happy in spite of him, then the only person being hurt by his bitterness and stubbornness is actually himself. :]

I'm generally fine with fairly spicy stuff, unless it goes down the wrong way and then my throat burns haha.
I loooove curry & chili, and I tend to throw chili in things to spice them up a bit if they're not already spicy, lol.
My fiancé has no tolerance for it at all though lol, bless him, he can't even handle the mildest of curries
If I make pasta or something for both of us, I have to serve his first and then add chili etc to mine after because otherwise he can't eat it xD

I have the funniest photo on my phone of my SO on his xbox and his hair was getting in his eyes (it's quite long) so he made it into a ponytail on the front of his head... he's wearing a headset and he had sunburn as well. Not good, haha. On most guys it looks lame! But some guys pull of long hair kinda well. ^^ Yoochun's was cute xD

I had crushes on guys through high school but I never told them.
Some of them, I regretted it at the time, but obviously now I'm engaged I don't really care XD
And anyway, if they like someone else (or especially if they're WITH someone else), what does telling them achieve? o.0
If they're single and you think they might feel the same and you think you could be good together, it might be worth saying something ^^

I don't think it'd be fair to say she deserved it although it seems slightly less out-of-the-blue if that^ is true. It's never right to hit a woman. To hit anyone, really, I think it's just seen as much worse because obviously blokes are generally much stronger than females and less able to defend themselves. It's a shame it's come to that. It is possible that the violence he saw during childhood influenced him, if you see it a lot during childhood often you come to assume that's the norm, that it's somehow acceptable. I used to know some people like that ):

My friend Sharon is quite tall for a girl (180cm- 5'11") and I think her Korean boyfriend Sungjoo is around 177cm (5'10") ^^
I prefer taller guys personally ^^ (I'm about 5'8" and my fiancé is 6'1" ^^)

I'm quite fussy, and always wanted a guy who took pride in his appearance, worked to maintain his physique. Not necessarily hardcore working out xDD But like, you know? Want to look good, make a good impression.
Personality is much more important than body and looks, but there's no denying that the physical appearance is important too. If you're not actually physically attracted, then it's nothing more than friendship really, ne? I've only ever been attracted to males of an average or slender build [similar to my own, I guess]. But I'd never date someone based just on their looks&body. I'm picky and wanted both. Hence being single almost 20 years xD (But now I have a gorgeous guy with an amazing personality, and a body to die for, yay<3)
