Song Yi almost made Gim Jun lose his life. Tomorrow Wol A comes back from the preview i saw. And this Wol A seem like a strong girl, so that's something to look forward to.G im Yak Seon is slowly loosing it because of Hapha and his daughter. I say tomorrow palee waaa.

Shedevil77 Song Yi is still oblivious as usual, poor Gim Jun stuck between this warring couple.Today's was good but tomorrow looks action packed.Yang Baek is in awe of Gim Jun and so is Hapha. The conversation between the four today was uncomfortable, you get to see the reason why SY love Gim Jun, she is fascinated by his intelligence that's for sure.

That was a really good episode, the Mongols are wicked no human sympathuy whatsoever,Gim Yak Seon i feel sorry for him being stuck with Hapha and Song Yi.

Song Yi is just like her half brother I want what I want when I want it. Song Yi even had the nerve to try and run away with
Gim Jun. Is she CRAZY.!!! In what universe would that have worked out? She begged, pleaded , and finally tried to threaten him with what her father would do GEEZ. I think he told her something about Wol ah but I won't know the full conversation until the subs are out. All I know is poor Gim Jun kept his life by a thin thread.(if he didn't have so many people who thought highly of him he would be dead) This episode was the set up for the next phase of Gim Jun 's rise to power. Now the choices are going to easier because all he has to do next is prove himself by kicking mad Mongol butt lol
Yeah he said something like there's only Wol A for him and boy did she go balistic.

All i can say is annoying episode, and thats because of Song Yi. Now he's been sent away because of her,i hope he's sent really far.
Liked what her mum said because of her Wol A died and beause of her Gim Jun will loose his life.

I saw Song Yi chasing the poor man;he just buried is childhood sweetheart and here she is professing her love for him.EWW Talk about classless!!! The problem with all those brats is they view others as nothing but something to further their own desires If she really loved him she would have thought about the pain he must be experiencing but not her..Gim Jun is going to probably get sent to the front line for this fighting the Mongols.(which would mean certain death for anyone else but I am sure Gim Jun being the "God of War" he will pull off some kind of coup) And raise his prestige even higher.Hopefully her parents will have sense enough to marry her off quickly and quietly or she will probably cause a ruckus like the young lord..
My sentiments exactly,for once i actually want him sent away to keep her well clear of him.I watch this girl and i suddenly fancy using swear words bearing in mind it takes alot for me to swear.

Amen libby. Song Yi is trying to get Gim Jun killed. !!!! All his children are too willful and don't give a hoot about anything but what they feel/want.As smart as Song Yi is she should realize she is creating BIG trouble for Gim Jun. I hope her father realizes it is Song Yi who is fanatically in love (just like Chum Sim ) and Gim Jun is not trying to use Song Yi to further his career. Which is probably what he is thinking. The cremation was so sad I cried again as well But I clapped when all of them got killed. it is a dam* shame that those two brothers got off though. if anyone deserves to die the young lord certainly did.. Another stellar episode.
Poor Gim Jun he is none the wiser at what's going on and tomorrow she chases him to the river bank we saw in the preview. I swear i kept screaming leave the man alone, she really is psychothic like her maid.

Agasshi please leave Gim Jun ALONE. Now her dad knows she likes him and now he hates Gim Jun. Park song Bi saw both of them together,infact they are both being watched. I cried during Wol A's cremation.Yang Baek is blaming himself for her death,absolutely loved the scene where Chun Sim was hanged and Geong Ga was killed. Too bad Young Lord escaped death.

Looks like a start of darkness for Kim Jun. I hope he becomes ruthless in the future. Good guys gone bad. I love those stories...so now hopefully onto more significant stuff
History of Choe Manjon....as you know, he's the bstard child from a dancer. SOmetime in his life he was sent to the Cholla Province and became a Buddhist priest, albeit a very corrupt one. In the area he stayed at, he gathered a band of rowdy followers who terrorized where he stayed. He was later recalled home by his father and his name was changed to Hang. After U's death, he purged the family of his stepmother in order to secure his position as military dictator. Looks like the females of the CHo'e clan are going to suffer soon by his hands. He also had a bstard son who would succeed him, named Cho'e Ui, after Hang's death. Ch'oe Ui was a fat lazy coward. If the source material is any indicator, then it looks like Kim Jun will have his vengeance through that guy's son, as he ultimately brought down the CHoe family and became military dictator.
Sorry i am a bit confuse here because from my understanding the names of his sons are Man jong and Man jeon, i know Man Jong raped Wol Ah. And what i gathered is Man Jeon becomes Hang, who eventually takes over after the death of his father.

OMG, that was the saddest episode I have ever seen..... Great acting by this absolutely stellar ensemble cast!! That dumba**ed young lord even bragged to his younger brother about raping Wol Ah and all his brother could do is shake his head in disbelief ; that rascal is just too dumb to live.!! But one thing I did admire about Chun Sim when the soldiers came to arrest her she stood up and took her punishment like a woman. unlike that young lord he cowered in his bedroom like the slime ball he is. I don't think his father is going to kill him but he will never live a life being a carefree drunk and womanizer anymore that is one thing certain.I have never cried so hard poor Wol ah thrown to the dogs like a piece of meat and to see Kim Joon holding her crying was beyond sad.I just don't get why this dram is not in the top 10. It has everything love lust honor glory angst and a great group of seasoned actors who really know their stuff. This was the best episode yet. thrilling exciting sad this drama has it all.
Oh the cast is something else they are suit their respective parts well. Yeah the younger of the brothers seem alot sensible than the older he unfortunately has a useless brother. It's no wonder in history their father never gave power to to th older of the brothers. I have a feeling he will be punished severely and Chun Sim and Yang Baek lakey will both be killed. Though i wish the lot of them are killed.

That has got to be the worse episode ever i cried from start to finish Wol A dies after being raped she committed suicide. My nose is still running while i type. Not sure i will be subbing this episode as it was just too sad and can't see myself going through this torture again.
I just wished Wol Ah went the hell away somewhere with all her fear/crying but Wol ah is way too trusting to be in a dangerous place like this.Even the women are out to get you Sadly Wol Ah does die because their is hardly any mention of her (I should say no mention) of her in history and I have checked but about the the baby will it be the young lord's child I wonder? And can you believe it Song Yi finally admitted to herself and her mother she wanted a man like Kim Joon . The thing that has been bothering me for some time is knowing how a woman's life is not her own she could be married off for political, monetary or any other cause her father might think of without her consent; how then could Song Yi in her position fail to see slaves as human and not have an ounce of sympathy for their lives humanity or pride in being so.I am so disgusted by Song Yi arrogance and the young lord's boundless lust to treat others without regard is shameless.I have lost all pity for her and HATE the young lord
I want Song Yi to dissappear as well she is awful especially after watching this episode to me Chun Sim did what Song Yi wants to do deep down but unfortunately Chun Sim beat her to it. Today it's all Wol A and Gim Jun thinking about this episode it self is making me cry that idiot of a Lord even with her pleading he still went ahead a raped her i look forward to next week to see what punishment is belted on them.Glad Hapha asked they all be arrested. I was a total mess watching this i even cried when Yang Baek cried infact everyone was sad because they know what she meant to Gim Jun.

haha like some viewers out there, I also wished Wol A to be killed or be raped...I cant stand her so brainless and truly to the name "bimbo" even though I am a woman...
I do not think any woman in her time would be so brainless and ungrateful. She should be able to understand Kim Hoon's intention and wish for her to be sent to temple after all those years growing up with him.
But then...I am still curious how would Song Yi be able to overcome her pride and "caste" to be with Kim Joon...
Now I am at ep 11...waiting for ep 12 to come out with Eng subs

I did want her character killed off not raped because i saw her as a weak link for Gim Jun. But just when i have actually started liking her charater i have come to realise m earlier wish is about to come true, i hope some how she is rescued and nothing bad happens to her. As for Song Yi, she is bound to marry Yak Seon since that's what actually happened in history.

What an episode that was, found myself crying watching Wol A happy because i knew it was the last.Song Yi is pitiful her life isn't hers, will be nice if nothing happens to Wol A but that is only my wishful hope.Chun Sim is crazy i hope Gim Jun kill all of them invilve in this plan including the young lord.

OMG the preview is out, i know i initially wanted Wol A character killed off but not any longer since i have started liking her. Poor girl gets set up by Chun Sim and Yang Baek side kick,so Choe U son is gonna rape her. Gim Jun is looking for her every where.

Ok so that was an interesting episode except that i want to go in the drama and kill off WOL character,that girl is dumb how can she not realise she is surrounded by wolves waiting and ready to pounce on her?I really hated the scene where the younger of the Choe men poured him a drink what a rude nutter he is.But i am glad Kim joon's attitude made it clear he isn't one to be messed about.

In response to libby5602 and shedevil77, though I don't know Korean, have watched this episode this is what I got from it and hope it helps.
1. Gim Jun asked that Wol A (boy she cries a lot) be sent back to the monastery for his wish which surprised Song I (Choe U's) daughter, the nobility and the audience as to the real purpose of being in the game was for a woman (in his case to save a childhood friend who should not be in that environment & suffer). Choe U agreed. Song I felt angered and deceived by Gim Jun, confronted him later on about it, his explanation somewhat appeased her.
2. Gim Jun and Gab I (other player) are now slave soldiers for the Choe U's family and moved to those barracks. It appears that Chang Baek has given Gim Jun his horse and some sort of promotion among them.
3. Wol A begs Choe U's wife not to be returned to the monastery, the wife guesses its because of Wol A feelings for Gim Jun (which has been obvious to everyone but Gim Jun, got to see with that as his thoughts of her are more brother/sister & monkish, yet every male there wants poor Wol A to protect- sniff, sniff). Choe U's wife encourages this as she personally does not want Wol A to go.
4. Wol A and Gim Jun have a conversation where she tells him that he is cruel and she does not want to go and he is basically saying that where they are is not good for her and its best that she goes back. It appears to be at a stalemate for now.
5. Choe U and his supporters have a meeting and have decided to meet his brother, he asks that Gim Jun accompanies them for that meeting.
6. Choe Hyeon (brother) is having a discussion with his supporters as to their next move when the one who appears to be on Hapha side with some good news about the situation there and his supporters are now encouraging him to attack (I think). Choe Hyeon seems to be hesitant. The show ends there with no preview
So basically for this episode you have - the wish although granted is slightly up in the air because of Wol A, the upcoming fight (confrontational) between the brothers, the start of Gim Jun's movement within the Choe family from his slave status.
Like to see what tomorrow brings.

him with WOL that girl is dumb,slow and all she does is cry,she already has the
older of Choe son on her tail and yet she wants to remain there.Now here is to
hoping some other smart girl is brought in.
