anyway, I've had my lollipop since feb, and yes, it is quite laggy. Wouldn't recommend it for people who want their phone to be fast. Mine lags a crap load when my friends are spamming me with txts all at once. I think some people said deleting some messages help but I don't think it has for me lol. It's cute though. I use it mostly for txting and selca. Lights are whatever for me, I like it cause it's thin and looks good (and the internal camera).
Oh yea, battery's kinda crap too.

My family eats a mix of food from different cultures. Pasta, spaghetti and like steak is pretty common for dinner with my family. Of course most of the time it's just Chinese food.

I don't think a profession matters as much as long as your boyfriend is motivated and hardworking. He could become a photographer (which isn't as stable as other jobs) but as long as he's hardworking then I think it's good. But if you think he's going to jump from job to job from lack of motivation, then you will definitely have to talk to him about it.
