I dated someone long distance years ago but I was young and it didn't work out. But we lost touch for a couple of years and are talking again as friends. Even if it didn't workout, I still made a good friend out of it all.
For a long distance relationship to work, I think commitment, communication, understanding and trust are a combination of things that are required to make it work for the two people involved in the relationship. I don't think it can be entirely long distance and effort would have to be made to meet in real life every so often otherwise I personally do not see as a real relationship rather a virtual relationship.

Perhaps confront her and discuss your feelings with her, I know it might sound odd but this is what I think you should do instead of making assumptions of why things are the way they are in a relationship.
Every relationship is different, so asking if its healthy I am not sure it could be depending on the two individuals involved in the relationship. Best of luck.

I really miss the days when we would walk around downtown
or go for bike rides to the park and relax.

I had rice with curry for lunch.
A strawberry/banana smoothie in between.
One cookie and a couple of pineapples.
Than dinner so I had rice with bean sprouts, curry and liver.
AND a small piece of lazenga that my mom made.

I was thinking of asking out a girl I've been talking to at the gym on a movie date. I usually never do movie dates for first dates (I typically prefer more interactive dates), but it just seems like my best option for this girl. I'm not sure what's out for movies, but I figured that movie Coraline would be something fun to watch. I'm 24 and she seems to be in her late 20's. Good date idea or bad date idea? Any other suggestions for movies or otherwise?
I don't think it's a bad idea, I mean movies is typical and something she won't feel 100% uncomfortable with.
Maybe movies than grab something to eat or coffee to talk a little. I think that'll be good.
As for movies, you could simply ask her if there's any particular one she wants to see.

Online dating can work and at the same time, it can be a waste of time. To me, I think it depends on luck if you happen to the meet the right person but even if you don't end up finding someone romantically I have made friends online.
