Back in around April, I began walking. Yup, walking around the block 8 times [that's around a mile] and since then I became the walking girl.
And there’s a bar on the corner of my street, so some people hang out there. One time, I was walking, with my headphones on, and some lady that I see around the bar stopped me, while she was in her car.
She says, “Can I ask you a question?” Here, I’m thinking “Omigod. I don’t know the directions to anywhere and HOLYCRAP what if she tries to kidnap me.” And then she asks me “Why do you walk? I see you doing it all the time.”
I was dumfounded, I mean, what was I supposed to say? And I reply, “I just do it.”
And then she says to me, “Well, I hope you’re not doing it to lose weight. You’re beautiful!” And I seriously almost broke down into tears.
Me and my mom aren’t close, and I don’t have any close friends. So that was the first time some told me that and I felt like they were saying it genuinely. It was really really awesome, I was speechless for a few seconds after that.
And then about a month later, she stops me and tells me that she’s walking around the block where she lives too and she’s trying to stop coming to the bar, and she only came to tell me that. I truly felt great after that, I mean, I felt like I had truly changed that woman’s life for the better. It was honestly the best feeling in the world.

@toisan. YES. Kim Tae Woo is AMAZING! Love Rain is AWESOME. I had the honorable priviledge of listening to hin sing that LIVE two weeks ago, and it was just great.
I saw one of my friends, she's a year younger so we don't see each other in class, from the bus. So I opened up the window and yelled out "Happy Birthday!" This girl sitting in the seat yelled "Shut up!" to me and I was just like wtf? And the girl next to her, my next door neighbor, starts laughing along with the girl. I was so pissed off, people seriously these days....

Hey ladies~ just wondering what would you do in my situation?
How should I approach this one boy whom I find really cute and want to be friends with, but I don't know him and he's like one year younger than me (I'm a senior and he's a junior)? Also no mutual friends, no same classes (because we're in different grades), nothing at all! We always see each other in the hallways and we do have eye contact all the time (it makes me happy XD) but then I wanna get to know him and be friends, but I don't know HOW to approach him. Should I stop him in his tracks one day and say "hey"? I don't even know WHAT to say, so help please? :c

Need you help on this ladies! I posted in the Guy thread too, but wanted other girls' opinions as well.
So. This guy I've known since I was like 12 asked me out yesterday, and I said yes. We enjoyed the date, ice cream parlor, and we've made it official.
The thing is, I'm 16 [A junior] and he's 17 [A senior]. That's not the problem. The thing is, I'm his first. First kiss, first girlfriend. I've had one long relationship before and been out with a few other guys. The thing is, he's a shy guy to begin with and being his first makes me nervous.
How should I treat him? With respect obviously, but anything special I should do to make him feel more comfortable?
