    Singing Tips & Recording Questions

    When I sing to myself my voice is quite good , but when i use my pc headphone to record , its sound difference and pathetic .

    What happen  ? 

    Almost everybody thinks they sound better in their head.

    The recorded voice you hear is how you really sound... in other words, you aren't as good as you think.

    You'll get used to how your voice sounds though, and you gotta keep working to improve it.

    I just checked the news today and the new mentors are:

    Yoon Il Sang (producer)

    Yoon Sang (singer)

    Lee Seung Hwan 

    Lee Sun Hee

    Park Jung Hyun / Lena Park 

    A few of them were confirmed a couple of weeks ago, but now we have all 5. 

    I'm really excited about Lee Sun Hee and Lena Park. haha Awesome

    Jaeho, can please let me know the detail??  I got so confused with a lot of info. I kinda lost. I hope you can clear all my doubt. :)

    So far the only thing we know about the criteria is that your video should be no longer than 1:40 and that you have to sing a Korean song (English lyrics are fine).

    There is no information on when the Upload button on Youtube will be up, but the deadline MAY be in August.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it... Just have a video ready.

    I think the difficulty levels are similar, but I think Korean is a little bit harder on the grammar and pronunciation side. Japanese is difficult because of the kanji. Both languages have honorifics and a lot of sentence forms. If you learn either one of these, it'll be easier to learn the other one because they have pretty similar grammar.

    A lot of people say that learning Hangeul (the alphabet) is easy, but there are a lot of spelling rules. Japanese spelling is more straightforward because of kana (although there is kanji to make it more difficult). 

    It really depends on what you wanna learn more.

    ^ No on their facebook status they said that it's going to take a few days to fix any bugs on their new youtube MBC audition site. I don't know why it is taking so long but that's what their facebook said.  They will update us on how to send in your online audition after they are done.

    I went on their Facebook page, and they're accepting videos now. The time limit is 1:40 like last year.

    So yeah, everybody good luck.

      I've seen lists like the one you posted, and more general ones, where Korea isn't at the top of the list-but the US is.  Even India and China are before Korea.

    Those lists are most likely outdated.

    A lot of people post the link to stats from 2002... But I've seen recent ones, and Korea's pretty up there now unfortunately.

    Koreans in general focus a lot on appearance. It's actually ridiculous. It's not that they're naturally less attractive than other ethnicities. They're just more... superficial.

    To be honest, Brothers entertainment bothers me on how quickly they accept people and ask for your info, but then cut off all contact with you. 

    I don't think it's a reliable place anymore, so I'm going to unpin this.

    I actually love that.  But it has to be done well.  Like take for instance Happiness in the Wind, I found that was done well so that they met but didn't realize how connected they were until about ep 15.  So I actually like that.  I'm on ep 1 so far and the show is overall---not really interesting or dead boring.  It's just---meh.  The lead guy is uber hot----wow that smile is just---wow.  Although I find the lead girl looks a bit older than him, but so does his girlfriend who I find utterly gorgeous.  I hope she doesn't turn out 100% evil in the middle---because I think she's stunning.

    That's a really good point. I agree, if that's done well. But for me, the drama at this point is making me impatient because of the nonstop, repetitive bickering that's been going on for a good chunk of the episodes. ph34r.gif I can't wait to see the crazy chaoticness when everyone realizes the truth. :lol:
