By the way Happy 500 Pages !!!   Wooohoooo I'm the first poster in this page  *so proud hahaha*   This thread rocks    =D>

  2. I gotta say I love Episode 12 not only because of the sweet OTP moments but it clearly show another different between DH and MH character. DH push SY against the wall, but didn't have the gut to kiss SY for the coward he is as always, he let this woman boss him around (tsk tsk), but look at MH, the moment he realize he loves YJ, he swoop in and steal as many kisses as he can. Stalk until he loves her, Kiss until she loves him, Nice MH's style. Decisive, persistence and right to the point. Oh you're the MAN, MH!!  :-bd

  3. As much as my heart leap at the kiss scene, I'm starting to be very worry for YJ. Its as though she trying all her might to be happy... What would her talking about life and death with her unnie friend, throwing a party for MH, acting as if nothing tragic had ever happen, and helping him all she can think up new recipes for his restaurant(I think that what shes doing in the preview writing a book of recipes), like she have only little time left of her life. She keep saying theres something she must do by staying beside MH, but it doesnt seem like all she wanted to do was haunt DH with his secret sins, but its to confirm a few more things before doing something dangerous... It feels so strange...Is she thinking of commiting suicide along with DH so they can join San and her dad in heaven?? T_T I hope I'm just thinking too much and that YJ only wanted revenge... :-SS

  4. I'm also confused on whether DH truly loved YJ, but just abandon that love for his ambitions and self-preservation. I think we will get our question's answer soon depending on DH next plan for YJ. As YJ begins to pose a threat to him by siding with MH cornering DH...Will he try to kill her and make it look like an accident? or Will he at least have some conscience and love left enough to just continue to ruin her life, destroy all her evidence against him and never thought of harming her directly? If he really did loved YJ, I've been wondering perhaps at the moment as she draw her last breath due to his indirect action in trying to kill MH (my imaginations...), when he realize what he done -he finally killed the woman he loved, will he go crazy and revert back to his old self?

  5. Hi Secret-chingus, this will be my first post after a long while since I Hear Your Voice ended. After that I was silently following Master's Sun which in turn was just as great a drama but I didn't find much to talk about in the thread there for some reason. Korean keep bringing us compelling dramas one after another this year. I havent been able to catch my breath for the past several months. You know that feeling of dying curiosity that you absolutely have to know what will happen the next episode of your favorite drama, but have no choice but to wait week after week to find out. That anxiety alone have been killing me lately nonstop. I thought after IHYV, I'll get a break, oh came MS, and now its Secret. It became a wave that I hate and love at the same time. lol At first, I thought it'll be Heirs next because of LMH (from Faith which I love so much last year), PSH (from sweet rom-com FBND early this year), and Choi Jin Hyuk (which capture me in GFB), but I was a bit disappointed of the dull plot. I think the characters being in High school really turn me off and LMH weird english in the first few episodes (or maybe thats just me?). I'm guessing they're just starting out as High school students, as the drama progress there with be timeskip, they'll be in college and eventually became heirs to their respective family. My guess only, it might get interesting later on but for now, its not something I'll rave about. I'll still watch Heirs but on Wednes-Thurs, its KBS2 channel that I'm tuning in on, not SBS.
Nevertheless, I find myself stalking Secret thread ever since Episode 6. The acting in Secret seem to be on a completely different level than other drama due to the craziness and irony of the character and plot. Strangely enough it remind me of the first Kdrama (a melodrama) I ever watch, Stairway to Heaven, follow by Sorry I love You, A Love to Kill and Tree of Heaven. Back then the only thing I like about korean was it Melos. Now its like the feels of all those old melodramas came packing in one drama. (I Didn't get this feeling with Nice Guy and That Winter the Wind blows.) It really thrills me to no end.
I thought I'll share some of my own views as well. Same as everyone here, hate DH SY (love the actors, they're awesome), adore MH YJ - want them to fall in love soon with more lovey dovey moments. I'm part of the minority that think its better if Little San stays in heaven (uh I'm trying to word it nicely because I also find him too adorable to want to passed away) lol. Like that, YJ will have more reason to dispise DH and wont show any soft-hearted feeling when she carry out her revenge. If it was only her father's death that she think DH was connected to, I feel like she would just came up with a reason in her mind to believe that it was an accident. One hit may not hurt, but after a second hit, a wound start to form. And I'm thinking the third hit will be YJ finding out (possibly from MH) that DH actually saw the body of JH that rainy night and manipulate YJ to take the wrap for him. For someone like YJ who deeply love DH enough to die for him (so she should never waste her life on such a scum), what better wake-up call this makes, although truly heartbreaking, see it as a great pain that bring greater fortune and greater the love of MH into her life. If little San truly is still alive somewhere, I think it will be harder on MH-YJ relationships. Lets say DH is like YJ, he didn't know either that his fat mom might've fake the kid's passing to assure his future, but then later found out about San plus his whereabouts adoption. What do you think DH will do? Surely he wont go get the child back and hand him over to YJ. He'll probly feign ignorance at first, if YJ became an even more threat to him, he'll use the child to blackmail YJ not go against him. Worst, YJ might have to make a choice between saving MH or San's life if it ever come to such a point. For the child I'm sure YJ would even give up revenge, afterall the one she want to kill will be the child's father. Can she really raise her child, knowing shes the one who destroy his father? Okay even if YJ not the one who will ruin DH in the end, then it can only be MH who put him behind bars. The same question will sufface regarding whether he can be with YJ and his ex-gf murderer's son. TBH, I think San being alive will bring about a lot of complicated loose ends...that can hardly ever be tie... So all I can say is, hope the baby San rest in peace in k-drama's heaven surround by birds flowers and the cute adorable baby actor that played him live happily and grow up healthy in real life. :x :x :x    ----  O:-) O:-) O:-) Or like someone earlier suggest, he can be reincarnate as MH-YJ 's son. <3

I think this story fit SY more than MH because she can't have the person she love she decided to take a revenge . sometime I think what if MH decided to marry SY to get revenge from DH

  6. It's Halloween and I can see so many Faithlings haunting our PD-nim with complaints and dreadful glares giving him one hell of a nightmare. (I'm definitely one of them.) LOL  =)) =)) =))
I was kinda disappointed with the ending, but came to term with it very quickly as it seem to be the reward of my faith in the drama. It did give me the happy ending like I (like everyone) wanted, although it was lacking in the skinship aspect (stingy stingy). If it was just a scene where they meet again, I would complain, but CY and ES eyes melt me. So touching that I forgive...;;)
CY wasn't surprise, have faith, at the same time I'm sure he wanted to cry, but ES shed tear before him, so his gaze and smile soften even more, his eyebrow lifted slightly (don't know if you guys notice) as if to assure her, telling her, "See...? I'm alright, I'm alive, and I've been waiting...Everything is ok now". It was the most blissful and most joyful moment for him and for her. A very beautiful scene, him waiting at the very place they separate, at the place where her favorite flower, yellow mums surround it. He cherishes whatever she like. Then in the time he waits, he tried to destroy every possible future obstacles and enemies that may hinder their reunion or endanger her life once more when she were to return. Protecting all there is about her. Gosh, CY can you be any more perfect? Millions of girls are swooning over you right now and I'm no exception. :x :P
    I would love to see their after marriage life, yet I guess it leaves me no choice except to resort to my constant fantasizing...The flashbacks in last two episodes really kills all those wonderful scenes that are suppose to happen according to Writer Song scripts. I'm wondering if they didn't have time to film those scene or was it just cut out by the director. Look like I'll be investing on the DVDs Director's Cut. It'll be costly but its worth it and trust me Faith is the first drama that made me dying to see director cuts so much. Cuz usually I don't care, what I see thats what I get, I accept, there, then I'll move on to another drama to satisfy myself. With Faith its like I became more greedy, always wanting for more, curious to know more, and want to start the amazing experience all over again... Obsess I so am. 8-}
Then again I'm also in denial thinking it could've been better, much better, much more epic, if they had extend the drama to at least a few more episodes. Would've been great too if it was like 50 episodes, they can explore more on the details, politics, and romance of the story, then featuring more on history surrounding GM, NG and CY. If the drama didn't end at Ep.24 the later half of the story can focus on ES's life in Goryeo, how she deals with the events that she knew will occur such as CY being exile and NG's miscarriage causing her death. Honestly, I would like it better if they shown everything they can about CY & ES life, then at the end when CY was accuse for treason, sentence to death at age 70, they both died and was buried together with a smile on their face dying without any regrets, as each other soulmates in life. Thankful to be by each other's side, had accompany each other through all the long years finally they decide to rest in peace together...8->
sigh~ My imaginations...not to mention the making babies part, ES becoming pregnant, coming along with CY to the battlezone, ES (wife) getting a hold of CY (husband )finances managing all his income $-), then ES using his money helping the needy and poor doing charity work, earn more love from CY, witnessing the birth of their first child then second child, the reactions of Woodalchi seeing the little newborn young master, the son of their respected daejang, (oh man the joy they must feel and the juicy gossips of ES CY marriage life;))) Lady Choi as the babysitter:D, CY teaching his boy martial arts, ES teaching her daughter medicine, tucking their kids to sleep, CY being a strict father, ES being a beautiful, loving and funny mother that she is, every night CY would embrace ES in his arms (aint no pervy thoughts=P~)), oh but wait then the kids barge in demanding ES to tell them a bedtime story, and the four slept together (CY richard simmons face...hahhaha:))) after teh kids fell asleep CY lean over and gave their mother a goodnight kiss!:\">There could be more bonding friendship between our imja couple and the king and queen as well. ES presence alone can bring so much hope and happiness...even during the most difficult times...So many possibilities...God, why oh why wasn't all that shown!!!?:((~X((You don't have to remind me, I know I know, lack of staff, planning, production budgets, or the more meaningful ending etc. etc. ah man screw it all. screw all logic!%-( :P)
Withdrawal symptoms is only getting worse even though I said I'm fine with that ending, its happy, I'm okay with it as long as they're together, though look like what I want is untrue with my feelings afterall...:((Still in the process of digesting it... need time...Now I'm sad, I'm missing it so much already, Missing CY and ES character...The perfect man and woman, the perfect couple... I feel like crying...:-S rehab needed...8-X ^:)^
I apologize, I'm not ready to say my farewell just yet guys...=; This thread be forever bookmarked for me.>:D<

  7. Having FAITH with FAITH!  FAITH will definitely give hope to future generations of dramaland. It will give hope to people who are experiencing Hurricane Sandy, severe cold weather, coastal flooding and the 9million power outages! If it were me, knowing that Faith have a HEA ending could last me a week without power and is able to endure the coldness just anticipating the excitement once I finally watch it. I'll be determine, "I'll definitely survive just to watch that no matter what!!"
Stay Safe and GoodLuck to us all!

  8. Picturing CY picking ES up and twirl her around in Happiness...  8->

  9. briseis said: @Charismadoll: That's my favourite scene of today's episode :x It's great to see how CY has matured - first he bought her dagger and now he just gives her all his money to buy whatever her heart desires :)) If we didn't know he was perfect before then this is the final proof :x

  10. I thought CY was gonna take ES shopping. How come it didn't show? I thought there will be some festival they can have fun at. Did another wonderful scene got cut out again? sigh~ They could've added the scene instead of all those flashbacks, and opening with scenes from previous episode (I think it was around 10-15 mins of screentime with no new content) minus the credits.
Anyway, I find this scene just so adorable. ES so excited that CY will be taking her on a date and buying her clothes and jewelry- anything she wants. She thought she married a poor warrior but turn out his family pretty wealthy plus he has 7 years worth of savings (I can see so many zeros $-)). Lucky you, ES! I'm sure shopping is something you haven't done for awhile. :(( Seeing her so happy made me happy too. :P>:D< :)

  11. CY brush ES hair! OMG You don't know how many time I imagine that scene (I thought they will only show CY with that comb once lol), because I recall the same scene in the Warriors of the Yang Clan when Si Lang (Alec Su) brush Yu Yan (Chae Rim)'s hair the morning after his brothers' wedding day. She was also in the same state where she was sickly (doesn't have long to live) and they know they would have to part soon, since he also have to go off to fight in the war.

    So bittersweet... :x :x :x

  12. Would like share with you Faith chingus here (if you're interested) about my experience- well actually its about my incredibly cute 78-years old grandmother who is suffering from dementia.

She often hallucinates and is quite moody, sometime asking for unreasonable things and most of the time, food. Lol Not that I mind, I would welcome her to become more chubby as she's a thin and frail lady. The doctor said when an elderly patient show any signs of fasting that mean his/her time is near (something I rather not think about). Its not really a thing to worry though, my granny is kinda jumpy lol, there are times where she would start singing some of those old lullaby songs and dance around the house all day, play with my little sister and our cousins or just started talking to her imaginary friend about the past. Her other elderly friends also came to visit frequently and reminisce about their younger days. She's actually the little princess of the house and one happy granny, even though her body along with her memories are deteriorating. Every night we put her to sleep in her bed, the next morning we found her sleeping aside one of the kids. sigh~ Yet the thing about my grandmother is there are time when she started talking about what would happen to the family after her death. She said she won't be there to stop us if we quarrels, she won't be able to take care of us. and she can't hugs us and comfort us, so we have to learn to love each other. Children will grow up and everyone will start living separate lives, so cherish your time together as mush as possible. Don't get into fights. Eat a lot and take care of yourself. Never think about suicide, don't do foolish things. Theres always a way out. You all are still young and your life are barely starting. Gosh she made me teary every time she mention those only later when we told her not to have those ill omen thinking, she completely forgets what she had said previously and said, "Who's dying? I'm fine. You want me to die early? I'm gonna live till 100, just you watch!" lol aish

What to do with you grandma~ Can't help it~ Still love her~ At this point, the doctor told us he have no idea how long she can live, it can be a few more months or even a few more years. People die from dementia and it reduce their lifespan. They can only offer to give her palliative care or some other treatment to reduce pain. Our family had already learn to cope with it and mother told us when that time comes, just let her go happily and naturally without suffering. We have never thought about putting her in elderly homes because we know she's the happiest when she's with us. My granny is a picky eater too, you can't satisfy her with just a bowl of rice and some meat and vegetables. We know her taste and habit best. The medical equipments or medications in elderly homes may prolong her life, but she can't stand it at all. She was hospitalize two times before. When she was left there alone for a few nights, she already miss us so much, she cried when she sees us and demanded us to take her home, like a child. She was in so much pain just lying in that empty hospital room with IV fluid, receiving shots and having her blood drawn each day. In my opinion, her suffering comes from being treated like a patient, she couldn't be with the family, and while she in the hospital she couldn't eat or drink well until we came personally telling her to eat then she would and she wanted us to enjoy it with her. Now that she is back at home she became so lively and energetic that we would hate to have her go through those times again. Even though she said she want to spend her time taking care of us, we're the one really taking turn caring for her. Don't know who is watching over whom, but as long as she's happy and we love her, it all work out. She wanted to spend the remaining time with her precious children and we respected her decision. I know I shouldn't compare ES situation with my grandma's condition because there is no actual cure to my granny's dementia whereas ES can survive as long as she go back but since watching Faith made me sentimental as well...

Maybe because of this, that I completely agree and support ES's decision to stay behind with CY even though she could die. I think if I were ES or a patient having some incurable disease I would do so as well. This decision doesn't mean they are wagering with their lives. They are fighting. Fighting to live beside us each day. Fighting to be with their love ones. Fighting for the happiness to be alive. What's the use fighting for our lives on a cold hospital bed all alone? Living an unhappy boring life just living..? Even if ES return to her world, this doesn't mean she will live forever, she will still grow old and eventually die as well. Let me remind you once again the "Heaven" is the future. She returns to the future, that means CY's death is already recorded in history. When she die, she will die full of regrets that she couldn't be with CY. CY would be relieved to know ES is alive somewhere in her world, but what about our poor ES? She can't be happy knowing CY already dead in her time can she? All that awaits her is the agony of suffering being alive while her love is gone. What awaits her can be a life worse than death. When ES said she will try to make the medicine again, I don't think she was just saying it to ease CY of his worry, she really meant it. She really is trying her hardest to live and to live beside CY. Who are we to deny her wish to stay, not to die but to live. That is not suicide.
Some of you mention that ES is being cruel to CY by telling him to watch over her until she draws her last breath. No, I think they both more or less treat each other the same way. Both selfishness and selflessness, equally love each other. Isn't CY also being cruel? Denying his heart just to send her back. He kidnapped her to this unknown land against her wishes, she was force to stay, force to cure people, force to be involve herself in that world's power struggle, being force into danger. For once, in her life, ever since arriving in Goryeo, this is a decision she wholeheartedly decided upon, so once again he's gonna go against what she really want, to send her back? CY, you dragged her there, stole her heart, now you planned on killing her heart and only sending back that empty shell of a body? I know I know, CY is also suffering, his pain is no less than ES. His life had been one major downfall after another. All the pain accumulated and build up to the point he no longer wish to see his loves one, his one and most precious love, dying in front of him. Abhor death itself rendering him with a heavy heart unable to hold his sword. Honestly the dilemma these two faces far surpasses any star-crossed lovers in dramaland history ever. I'm emotionally drained watching these two...
Remember theres a quote from Romance in the Rain said by Ru-ping (in her heartbreak) referring to the love between Yi-ping and Shu-huan (this pair of lover is quite the opposites too),
"Their love are like two torches. The flames kept on burning and they won't stop burning til they've burned each other to ashes. How can one hope to stop a love so passionate?"
I believe this describe Choi Young & Eun-Soo's love best. If their love is truly that great, how can they bare to part. Parting just means dying, body or soul. I hope that both their fire kept burning, brightly... passionately... til the end when its finally extinguish.
Romance in the Rain is an epic chinese classic and touching romance, old yet still stay in my heart. The OST of the drama are all very beautiful. If it didn't had a happy ending, would I had remember it to this day, I wonder.
Once again I so sincerely wish ES will be able to stay, well and alive with her beloved General CY.I have Faith that the third Hwata relic will be some sort of antidote or recipe to cure Eun-Soo. Let's believe in future ES efforts she put in so that current ES may stay by CY's side.
