It pains me to write the last episode but I am glad I manage to watch most of the scenes today.  Here's sharing the last recap ....as usual, not as accurate but think the storyline is almost there!! I felt like I am riding a rocket (I hardly can grasp all those happenings (maybe, age is catching up or maybe, my mind is stalling...)  - so many things happen so quickly but we have expected a sweet ending.

I feel so frustrated with the PD that once again he manages to fall short by a tad on their romantic scenes.  He's doing a good job at building the momentum but the climax feels so under seasoned that often I feel unsatisfied. if he can just take it up one notch higher, it would have been more impacting.  Tonight episode is a perfect example how I feel the ending could have been soooo much better if EJ really kissing HW, as supposed to just lip pecking.  The entire episode wraps around EJ & HW trying to have a date but somehow get interrupted, Both of them want to start all over but can't seem to express to the other person, they would like to propose to the other person but the timing seems to always be off.  In the end,  HW gave his voice recorder which contains past self notes as well as his message to EJ (I think he proposed?) to EJ.  Feeling touched by what she hears in the recording, she runs after him , leap onto him, and give him the biggest hug.  She yells "Yes, I like it!" and plants multiple quick kisses squarely on his lips.  Just a peck??? really?? It would have been more satisfying for the viewers, if it was a real passionate kiss.  They were a married couple, just go make out! geezz hahaha .  If PD's intention is to leave us to desire for more, well he accomplished just that.

 

 

 

and those repeated scenes of EJ ans SH over coffee are making me sleepy and tired, very much. to add a another scene like that between HW and SH as the 3rd in this episode alone makes me want to scream! again i have nothing against EKJ ok, dear chingus. but me too like sarbox, was disappointed and frustrated with this episode.

 

 

 

we got teased by those bts pics of a date between HW and EJ only to be presented by an imagination during the actual episode. the only sweet scene for me that is not in their imagination is whe  hw embraced ej and tried / requested for a kiss. only to be bothered by EJ omma, aishhhhhh!

What I discover is that they like to wear EJ’s Omma hair with cute little clips and do you notice that Young-joo’s little restaurant only serve food to the staff from HOPE and Professor Jo – and the place also serve as a rendezvous?

I thought I could come back in time to share the recap of Episode 17 – but unfortunately, the connection is soooo darned erratic today that I only managed to see glimpses of scenes as though I am slowly losing sight.    Sorry, I am in no position to write the recap – mianneh for disappointing you guys.

 

 

 

Here's exactly what I manage to catch ...miserable and frustrated!!

CJW serenading a song to HW – the same song from Park Shin-yang’s character singing to Kim Jung-eun in Lovers in Paris. Whoa....must-watch scene...

 

 

 

And there’s a scene of EJ standing alone on the stage facing one and only audience – Hyung-woo.

 

 

 

What a lovely sleepover scene - EJ, EJ Omma and TY were sleeping in one row at EJ’s house.  It is so heartwarming to see them together. As the saying goes “If you cannot get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance”.  

 

 

 

There’s one beautiful outdoor park scene of HW with EJ – but strangely, why were they seated far apart…aish…move closer, let your body language do the talking and in no time, both of you will head home!! Aish…..no such luck, they ended up in foul mood as EJ urged HW to go back.  

 

 

 

Another scene – HW hugging EJ and sweet-talking her – OMG…I heard the word…”It’s been a long time …. eeekk…. connection got stalled!!

 

 

 

HW received a call from someone (think he tried to retrieve his recorder…) – and he was relieved they tracked it back for him.  

 

 

 

HW met up with Seok-hun – just too bad couldn’t see/hear what they said in the conversation.  

 

 

 

EJ watching TV at home – TY came over and handed HW’s recorder to EJ (OK not sure it was the recorder or his hand-phone) the screen is playing tricks to my eyes. I am having nightmare right now – trying to figure out what’s the scene all about – tough luck ensues.

 

 

 

TY playing computer game – he looks so HOT (he is getting hotter now as we can view him in full length most of the scenes in this episode and now I wish the writer set him up with a yoja chingu – whew…what a waste!!).  Anyone here planning to stalk him in his next drama – think he is playing a major role? Somehow, his concentration on the game annoyed EJ.

unfortunately, our handsome ex-hubby is a bit densed and knows that EJ is irritated with him but cannot fgure out why.

 

 

 

they have made several attempts to "date", but "forces of nature" aka friends and family are forcing them apart.

 

 

 

EJ invited HW for dinner at home, when EJ sent HW home, HW was asking for a kiss. Before they even kissed EJ omma came and saw them almost kissing! bwahaha

 

 

 

Yes, sadly those wonderful pics we saw earlier are all imaginations of EJ which came in 3 versions, her proposal to HW.

 

 

 

her serenading ex-hubby (btw Fel, that was my favorite part in Lovers in Paris, eeeeeee) but i didnt recognize the song initial, thanks fel. Ji Woo's singing sounded so sweet.

he got sidetracked by SH. they drank and HW cant come to the musical with EJ EJ gave away the tickets to YJ.

 

 

 

as a peace offering, HW again attempted to propose.

 

 

 

Irritated EJ is watching a movie, HW called her through TY's fon, that he will wait for her at the children's park in front of the apartment.

 

 

 

the movie ended, while HW is still waiting outside in the cold.

 

 

 

EJ throw TY out, telling him to go to his home. He found HW waiting outside and went back to EJ to tell her.

 

 

 

EJ got curious and finally went out.

 

 

 

HW waited for her just to give the voice recorder which he found at the N Tower management office.

 

 

 

EJ listening to past recordings, the diary made by HW. Then all of a suddent there seems to be a new voice entry. her face lighting up and she run after HW

 

 

 

meeting him not far away, she run to him and embrace him saying I LIKE (chowa)

 

 

 

they kissed, the cute 3 pecks + 1 on the lips, not the passionate kind.

i just have to comment, though not sure if somebody else pointed this out from previous episodes.

 

 

 

did you all notice how the differences between EJ and HW were portrayed by the colors black and white? 

 

 

 

i think it was more than interior design that prompted them to use black and white for their slippers, pillow cases (with reversible color), dishes like plates and bowl, and now their outfit here in this photo.

 

 

 

most of use black and white as complimentary outfits because it is a good balance and i think almost if not all would look good in this combination.

 

 

 

it is very symbolic in the case of EJ and HW because we can say that the 2 shades are located at the end of the color spectrum, very different and far apart, but definitely a complementary and a well matched with each other. 

 

 

 

getting weepy just thinking that they have finished filming (based on the above article) and we are at the last 2 episodes, but very excited to see all the lovey-dovey scenes between our lovely couple.

About ten reporters from Japan arrived in Korea to interview Korean Wave actors Choi Ji Woo and Yoon Sang Hyun who are currently playing in MBC’s drama series Can’t Live With Losing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Including a famous Korean Wave magazine, Fun, reporters from eight Japanese media came to Korea. They went straight to the shooting set of Can’t Live With Losing because the series is gaining much popularity in Japan lately.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can’t Live With Losing is maintaining low viewers rating in Korea, despite its positive feedbacks. On the other hand, the countries which imported the series are getting great remarks from the viewers, fluttering the fans’ hearts.
