What a fun little drama this has become! It gives me what I want in the zany rom-com department, but there’s an emotional depth here that continues to impress. As we dig into the middle half of Mad for Each Other, we learn more about our characters, and watch how their relationship evolves.

‘Cheese in the Trap’ movie nabs Oh for lead

Actress Oh Yeon-seo has been cast to play the lead role in the Korean-Chinese joint movie “Cheese in the Trap,” according to Mountain Movement, the agency that represents actor Park Hae-jin, who will play the male lead in the upcoming film.
The label made the announcement during a press event held in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi, late last week.
“Cheese in the Trap,” originally a webtoon-based drama series, aired on tvN in the early part of this year. Actor Park and actress Kim Go-eun played main characters.
“Kim crafted the character Hong Seul in her own way,” said Park and continued, “In terms of appearance, I believe Oh looks more similar [to Hong Seul from the webtoon].”
It hasn’t been easy to nab the female lead, since all the 500 applicants that applied to play Hong Seul were denied after undergoing auditions. The production crew then decided to cast Oh, who has shown enthusiasm towards taking the role.
The director for the upcoming flick will be decided in September, and it is currently scheduled to be released in late February.
Oh most recently starred in sports film “Run Off,” which hit theaters earlier this month.-

Actress Oh Yeon Seo recently headed to Hong Kong to film a pictorial for ‘Singles’ fashion magazine, where she showed off her deadly femme fatale charms, which was a departure from her recent elegant princess image in the popular drama ‘Shine or Go Crazy.’
The pictorial was taken at night on the streets of Hong Kong, where Oh Yeon Seo is seen either wearing a colorful flowery dress or going for a casual denim look in other shots. The neon lights of the streets also helped to bring out Oh Yeon Seo’s mysterious and fantasy-like alluring charms.

Actress Oh Yeon Seo will be holding her first fan meeting.
Along with winning "KDramas 2014 Top Excellence Actress Award for "Jang Bo-Ri is Here", she received mass public love from viewers of the drama. Her recent glowing performance in ‘Shine or Go Crazy’ cemented her popularity with fans and she wishes to meet and thank as many as possible..
On May 2 the event titled "‘Oh! Lovely Day", will be held at Ilji Arts Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. It is designated to allow Yeon Seo to have special moments with the many fans that have continuously supported her throughout her numerous roles.
Through her online community website, Oh Yeon Seo has strifed to communicate and show her appreciation to her supporters. In particular, the event is meaningful since it is her first time to meet her fans in closer distances.
Oh Yeon Seo said, “Since it’s my first fan get together, it makes me a little nervous and very excited. I’m looking forward to meeting the fans and I hope many come and spend the time together. I want them to enjoy the moments.”
