I finally watched the recent episodes. Loved them. I had warm fuzzies when watching the two in the 'sleep' room. It was charming. I am really creeped out by Mom and Second Lead guy. It wouldn't suprise me if one of the episodes was 'Oedipus Rex' Anyways, I think this will really be interesting for the future.
I regret already watching them... only because I can't wait for next time, and houw sad for Dal Po's brother. I had a feeling. He echoes another character.... it's the dark and the light between the two brothers. Has anyone noticed that most of the older brother shots are really dark. As if molded.... the only time he seems bright is when he's at work... with his friend... who looks out for him.
I'm really heartsick for him. :'( I hope all is well..... but we'll see. It'll be interesting.

I miss the manly Lee Min Ho from this. It was his best character ever. I hope to see another somewhat like this sometime. Carry On is still one of my absolute favourite songs. I listen to it almost daily. The music from this too... it was so breathtaking! And the King and his wife... their sweet story, and the tragedy of the baby. I'm so sad. Yes, it was a memory, one I don't often revisit, because so many of the puppies died. :'( But that's how life was back then. People died randomly. I'm missing this though. Carry On!

I'm rewatching IHYV... It's always SO good.
Love some of the fan art from today. Thanks for sharing. I'm in fake denial about the baby. Actually, I'm thrilled for her. How lucky is she?! I wish her tons and tons of luck! But.... I wanted little Soo Ha-s and Hye Seongs.... alas, it didn't happen. on the drama at least. -

I think the writer got the idea for the pinocchio syndrome from IHYV... I'm rewatching it... again, and in Episode 5, when Hye Seong goes to the police station to pick up Soo Ha, she hiccups when she's telling the lie... that they live together. She continues to hiccup until they leave the police station. I'd forgotten about that, but how cool is that?
Also, I think I know why LBY won't do an actual cameo... she's pregnant with her first child. So, the voice cameo is all we're going to get. How sad. But still, congratulations to her. Glad she was able to participate anyways.
Okay, I'll stop raving IHYV, but honestlly, it's my favourite drama ever... and that's saying something. -

This series is great for provoking great thought processes. I enjoy this writer so much, because she makes dramas that make you think about ethics. Even in Dream High, it was a story about ethics. I love how she's able to really really delve into something while making clear her original objective. Just saying, she's pretty amazing.
The actors who act in her dramas aren't people to sneer at either. She's had some big named people working for her. I can't wait for wednesday!
@Rania... I know Grandpa won't die too soon... but I'm bracing myself for the possibility. Still, I hope not. -
It's already almost page 200. Happy happy everyone! Now, we just need to wait for wednesday! I will say that if Grandpa dies... I might wait until the following week to watch that episode. When I watch IHYV, I always skip when Mom dies. It's just so sad!

Is it a ro-com or a melo? I see different things every time. I'm pretty sure btw that Grandpa is going to die. Don't want it, but it seems likely. He's too good of a character. In many ways, he's a lot like Hye Seong's mother..... in that he's dedicated to his family... even his extended family. Love that, but it's going to be that catalyst that perhaps drives LJS to himself... and he'll find his real brother. Just my idea. I'm also waiting for an episode called hansel and gretel. Interesting, and as a lover of fairly tales, I'm taking great enjoyment on how the writer is bringing togther all of the stories and weaving them together.
I can't wait for next week!!! I'm almost... almost watching this real-time. -
LJS has chemistry with anyone. He was so viable as a gay guy, I was heartbroken. That was Secret Garden. He really has amazing chemistry! I can take the different characters of LJS as they come. They're all different. All of them, and they've got something special and different. Of all of them, Park Soo Ha is still my favourite, but honestly, Choi Dal Po could be his lost brother. They're similar, and yet so different. I'm actually glad that he has a real brother in Pinocchio. I'm so looking forward to their reunion! I think it's going to be epic!
But, I so so SO miss these two wonderful characters. I want more... the rest of their story. :'( I'm curious about their future. How will it work?! I guess we'll all find out.

@corearen, it seems like we're really the only two in this thread. I think it's great when the threads are lively, but I don't want to backtrack and try to read everyone's comments.... even about LJS. ^^ But, I'm really enjoying the drama. Someone mentioned that the chemistry between LBY and LJS was more of the warm and cuddly kind of chemistry. That's why a lot of people thought if they'd stayed with the family thing, that was fine. I personally think that mght be true. They did have chemistry, fantastic chemistry! You know I think that, but maybe having a character closer to his real age will allow him to show the grown up emotions. Before, most of his characters have been really really young. I thnk this is the first time he's playing someone so old. Still, my bias is LBY with him. ^^ But, I agree that he has a lot more grown-up emotions here. I think DS had a huge impact on that. He was never a child in that drama... his character had to grow up so quickly. Even so, I'm really loving the drama!!!!!!! (It's not to IHYV level... yet... but I'm optimistic! ) Anyways, love your contributions like always. Keep smiling, and enjoy the show!

Both episodes were fantastic! If this is the melo part of the drama, bit by bit throughout all of the episodes, then I'm in! GAME! HOOK! LINE! and SINKER!
I absolutely loved the last two episodes! They're shaping up fantstically! Seriously love both of these!!!!!! What to say? Kdramas go so far with different kinds of kisses. WOW!!! The 'bread' kiss.... that was super fun! They really have fantastic chemistry. I know that part of it is the editing, music, and everyithing, but everything is amazing.
The most poignant part for me was when Dal Po went to the roof to mourn his father. It seemed very old fashioned, and I mean that in a great way. The traditional way. If they're not with you, they'll always be found in the sky!
I am definitely going to buy the OST when it comes out! Some of those tracks are amazing! Seriously love it!!!!!! Like seriously lov -

I got my korean language exchange partner to watch Pinocchio. She's a drama lover too... but hasn't seen much of him. I think i have praised him too much... and I've praised Pinocchio too much. So, she's on the bandwagon. Huzzah! It's so much fun!!! -

I think it's funny that most of these articles are calling this a ro-com... honestly, there are so many malo themes... the biggest ones are the absence of his brother... I'm scared the brother is going to do something ... irreversable. Like kill someone. He just sits and stews. Both brothers are throwing away their potential to live in squallor.... granted, they probably needed it. But honestly, where are the cops, where are the everyone? PSH mother... I don't like her already. She's cruel! Even Lois Lane had more sense than to destroy someone so fully! Crazy crazy!

I don't want crossed eyes. I think the wig is workable. It's definitely going to be a shock when it comes off. I can't believe it.... such a shag, but it works with his character.

I'm back! I watched both episodes, and I loved it! I am so glad to see the wacky LJS. He's so adorkably cute! I am very excited about next week. I knew that he wouldn't have a problem... and since this is his thread, I can say that I think it's all about him. PSH has done a great job, but he still steals the light when he's on.... The bus scene from episode 2 was very cool.
I'm scared for his brother though. I think his brother is going to go don the Min Guk track from IHYV... especially when they find the remains... and they are remains.... I just don't know why nobody found the body... didn't they do an investigation of the area? Seriously! -
