    Kim Soo Hyun: Best Actor Award Like a Big Assignment

    The ultra popular Kim Soo Hyun won the Best Actor Award on Baeksang Arts Awards.     I heard that JO IN SUNG was the youngest to win best actor award for WHAT HAPPENED IN BALI.

    owwww really? errr ... i'm just quoting article from asian drama .. it says there KSH being only 24 years old is the youngest to receive the award ... :D

    bambiina & electricblue ... as always i'm in tune with your view :P and i think in some way this Baeksang award is a nice closure for us .. the MoonSoon-ers ... after the awesome ratings and now ... we got awards, too ... as if to legalize it ...

    I'm so happy for Kim Soo Hyun for the winning the Best Actor Award, he deserves it. 

    Congrats to TMTETS and KSH!

    usually young actors only won Popularity award or Rookie award .. but now KSH set the bar higher by winning Best Actor *clap-clap* .. he's the youngest winner in Korean history !!! *hehehe* even Korean movie/drama experts entranced by the beauty & magical atmosphere of TMTETS :D

    I was sooo quiet lately and didn't utter a squeak about TMTETS because I was sooooo afraid that it would not win anything.. When I saw KSH was very far behind in the popularity award I was speechless... OMG.

    KSH deserved the Best Actor award..... Congratulation... Moonerssss.. Where's the champange? Khambaiiiii

    The three main channels launched their dramas for Wednesday and Thursday night on the same day, March 21, after a long war of nerves in which they tried to gauge when The Sun and the Moon would be coming to a close.

    For the first episode, MBC’s The King 2Hearts, starring Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won, seemed to be on its way to the top armed with the popularity of its predecessor, The Sun and the Moon, with 16.2 percent viewership ratings.

    As the dramas progressed, however, the ratings for all dramas averaged out, and in just four episodes, The King 2Hearts had to step down and hand the top spot to SBS’ Rooftop Prince. KBS2’s The Equator Man in the meantime continued to pack on the ratings, turning the tables yet again to battle all the others out.

    The fierce battle between the three dramas, however, amounted to nothing more than a fight between much of a muchness. Adding all of the ratings for the three dramas amounts to less than the 44.2 percent The Sun and the Moon garnered for its last episode, which means that the dramas weren’t able to absorb all of the ratings left free for grabs with the end of The Sun and the Moon.

    The Equator Man, which is on its way to tightening its grip on the highest throne, is again in danger of losing its crown soon.

    Lee Seung Gi will be transforming from a bratty prince to a charismatic king in order to reveal the secret behind his brother’s death, and Park Yoo Chun will start to dig into what happened to the missing Yong Tae Yong, along with a romance with Han Ji Min.

    Whether the two will be able to breathe new strength into the ratings for their dramas is yet to be seen.

    ZE:A’s Im Si Wan will make a cameo as Heo Yeom in a sitcom.

    Im Si Wan, who is currently starring in MBC’s daily sitcom Standby, will make his return as Heo Yeom on the show’s 11th episode, which will air on April 24.

    The episode will reveal Im Si Wan and Kim Ye Won’s date as they put on historical drama costumes and travel to a Hanok (traditional Korean) village. The two are expected to reprise the role of Heo Yeom and Princess Min Hwa from The Sun and the Moon.

    Im Si Wan was cast as the younger version of Heo Yeom in The Sun and the Moon.

    In response to his cameo as Heo Yeom two months after the end of The Sun and the Moon, Im Si Wan said, “When I found out that I was going to wear a historical drama costume, it brought back the fond and nerve-wracking emotions from the set of The Sun and the Moon.”

    Although Im Si Wan’s character was not particularly fond of Ye Won, he decided to go on a date with her simply because of the many gifts he had received from her. Moreover, the two manage to recreate the memorable scene from the movie Great Expectations when they stood facing each other from a drinking fountain.

    Heo Yeom and Princess Min Hwa’s sitcom cameo will air on MBC’s Standby on April 24 at 7:45 pm.

    Kim Soo Hyun’s likability surpasses even Lee Seung Gi

    Kim Soo Hyun brought on ‘Soo Hwon Syndrome’ with his role as King Lee Hwon on the much loved drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’ resulting in explosive popularity

    According to the Korean Institute for CM Strategic Studies, Kim Soo Hyun ranked #1 in likability among advertising models. This is s huge leap in comparison to last month’s results that had Kim Soo Hyun ranked at #10.

    Kim Soo Hyun’s likability reached 10.63% as the only one to reach above 10%. :wub:

    Kim Yuna, who had ranked #1 last month, dropped a notch to #2 but still enjoyed 9.02% likability. Lee Seung Gi, who is mesmerizing the fans with his turn as King Lee Je Ha ranked #3 with 7.46%.

    I saw the NG from youtube when started to shoot the last  kissing scene while KSH enjoying himself kissing her she turned her head away twice without director call for NG and KSH sat there looks blurred <he think to himself what's's happening I have'nt started kissing you yet> or  maybe KSH do something very mischievous here:wub:.     hehehe! Later I think she gave in and responded to that kiss we got to  see on screen the last kissing scene beautifully done and it was so memorable that after TMTETS ended we still in cloud 9  thinking of that kissing scene. blush.gif

    i remember someone explain this NG scene few pages back .. HGI was distracted by the sluggish noise from the rolling camera on the track (???) ... so she starts giggling ... *hahaha* someone need to oiled that camera track :P

    Bambiina ... OMG .. so many butterflies ... i didnt notice that :blink: ... and i re-watch TMTETS for like 10xx times now *scratch head* ... too focus on our King & Queen :P

    Kim Soo Hyun Appointed Ambassador of Korea Tourism

    Kim Soo Hyun shed his kingly ways to become a handsome man in a suit. He attended the appointment ceremony for the honorary ambassador for Korea tourism. The event was held on April 18 in Seoul for his appointment, and went through with a photo session holding his plaque.

    Lee Cham, president of the Korea Tourism Organization, said before handing the plaque over to Kim Soo Hyun, “The Sun and the Moon, the drama that stars Kim Soo Hyun, was exported to seven countries including Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, and drew in global attention by passing 100 million views on China’s largest online video site. The appointment of Kim Soo Hyun as the Korea tourism honorary ambassador will help draw tourists from East Asia in the future.”

    Kim Soo Hyun couldn’t hide his excitement and happiness, but as soon as he received the plaque, the way he became nervous and stiffened up drew laughs from the audience. He is currently shooting commercials after wrapping up The Sun and the Moon, and will be out to conquer the big screen with the film The Professionals in July.

    Kim Soo Hyun is so cute he rebuked Kim Min Seo "Sister are you abnormal?"but he himself revealed in Taxi he said during shooting "I really love her":wub:  when asked he loves Wol's  or HGI's he changed subject to avoid the question hahahha! "Kim Soo hyun are you abnormal?":)

    *hahaha* KMS ---> KSH ---> HGI ... the triangle :wub: still going on even after the drama ended ... that shows how deep the story affected the actors ... :P

    Actress Han Ga In and actor Kim Bum were appointed as UNICEF Special Envoys at the Changsung-dong UNICEF building in Seoul on the 9th.

    Han Ga In attended the UNICEF Special Envoy appointment ceremony and she looked very shy standing in front of the cameras. Everytime the flashes of the cameras went off, she would blow air in her cheek as if she was shy.

    The United Nations Children’s Fund is a UN organization whose goal and mission is to provide relief and aid to children around the world, and without discrimination. Actors Ahn Sung Ki and Kim Rae Won have worked with the organization in the past.

    The lead actor in New tales of giseang also infatuated with the lead actress after shooting he still love Sooyoung but after several months the love for her went off.

    uuuuw i love that drama, too ... the actress who play Sa Ran very pretty in HanBok, she should play sageuk *thumbs*
