    hi thanks for posting the gifs. I thought there was much sexual tension going on the way DM stood infront of Hina.

     

    DongMae's Chinese pronounciation is the same - winter blossom, it is more like a girl's name in Chinese. Actually winter in Korean is Gyeoul (pronounced as Gyo wool), perhaps in classical Korean it is Dong. :)

    The scene at the tavern with the 3 guys really made me laugh when HS introduced EC as the American Joseon, DM as the Japanese Joseon and he himself as the Handsome Joseon. HS really add comic relief to the show. :D

     

    I also like that HS is upfront about his "useless" interests when Aeshin asked why doesnt he has a dream or do anything. When he explained himself, she said she understood but their paths will be different. You really cant be angry with someone who is honest and clear about himself, however "useless" he maybe. 

     

    If anybody should join the Righteous army, I think HS should. He is inherently a good guy who growing up with all the riches just need someone to steer him towards something worthwhile and put his passion and energy to good use. Seems like Aeshin will be this person.

     

    As for DM, I just dont see how he will join the RA if not for Aeshin. This guy is 90% practical and a realist. The other 10%, he saved it for pining about Aeshin. Of course soon that 10% will grow, seeing how he let the guy off (which I think he idid to avoid incurring the wrath of Aeshin). He did explained that he was concerned his comrade will be sad, and Hina thought that funny.

     

    One plot hole that I want to point out is why is Aeshin seemingly the only gunner in RA, surely there are others :D

    About DM possibly joining the righteous army, I think he wont. Why should he do so for a country that has did him wrong so much so that he has to fled to Japan? Obviously because nobody took him in within Korea. EC got the better deal, going to US because somebody pointed out to him that option when he was young. DM have a hard  life from Day 1, I am not trying to justify his actions and I dont see how he could have been educated enough in Korean to read the letter while trying to survive. The most likely scenario was that he found someway to go to Japan in his teens and learnt Japanese instead. 

     

    I think most likely DM will trail AS and be her knight in dark shadows and just help along because she is involved. :ph34r:

     

    With regards to him shooting AS, I think somebody has already mentioned that he could have gone for a more lethal shot but because he wasnt sure, so he aimed lower. Had he been 100% sure, he wouldnt have shoot her. There is a difference here. With even a slightest bit of doubt, he didnt dare aim properly, that is why I think he wouldnt have shot her if he was very sure. Which is all a ploy by the writer to lead into the verification at the train station.

     

    I just wanted to write something about him, because everyone should knows that although he seems very menacing he is not a threat to the lead characters. His is a tragic character, created to have all the crap dumped on him.

     

    And that's all for me now, while I go swoon over Yoo Yeon Seok.:D

    Yes and DM reminded me very much of Joon gi's character. I was so traumatised by the show and many things that ,happened after that I had to step away from Soompi forum for one year. But unfortunately or fortunately DM is not the lead in this drama. :D In any case, I have braced myself for a sad ending where one or few characters dies. You take care too Susie.

    since you quoted me, I will have to make some comments.

    Firstly, Joongi is an actor senior enough to call his own shots. Namoo is already his 3rd agency, he is not a young idol having to say yes and follow whatever his manager says, in fact its the opposite. For me I think the Namoo boss is following around him more these days, because of the rapid ascent of Joongi's popularity, he has to show that he is dedicating time to Joongi so that he doesnt get poached by other agencies.

    The taiwan trip is special because there is a press conference organised by a TV station for the publicity of MLSHR. I dont find it unusual for the Namoo boss to follow because of this. Altho I am a shipper, but I dont relate everything to relationships. The taiwan trip is a business trip and for all we know, the Namoo boss has never been to Taiwan and is just tagging along to sightsee on an expense paid trip. Haha.

    As to the movement of the taiwan fm date, I think because the HK Fm got confirmed later so they had to shift the taiwan FM earlier. Of course, JG conveniently shifted it to be next to IU's concert date.

    So far all the timing is perfect, even the breakup announcement is so perfectly timed to be after JG's HK concert. I dont know whether its all a conspiracy or its the stars just aligned to make everything seems this way. But all is good for me as of now. I am happy.

    It's all free standing.

    @tinniet I think it's best to buy the superfan zone, that's the nearest to the stage.general admission may be more comfortable because there is more space to move around but it will be further unless you go early n camp near the superfan area.

    I have seen a couple of other videos with them close up but those are not full videos. You can search for them on YouTube.

    For the video I used to sub, you can watch it on full screen on the pc/laptop then look at?the bigger video wall screen of the venue and you can see their gestures better. 3 of the screens was focus on iu but one on the right was on joongi. 

    At some point when iu spoke, he look down or look to the side or cover his face (during the last part), it's very interesting if you analyse his overall behaviour if you watch the video carefully.

    Also his voice was unusuallly softer (in volume) and tone when she was around, which was different from when he is talking to fans at other points of the fm.

    I think no matter what is the truth or the status, the following are facts

    1) there will be iu antis

    2) there will be joon gi antis

    3) there will be people who dun like them together

    4) there will be people who like them together.

    After my Taiwan trip, I don't care what others say about them anymore, I will live in my bubble of happiness for as long as it last. :heart:

    A little bird told me about this comment and I thought I have to come back and here and say something.

    I am not sure where u get this info about him attending her concert but one month ago there was an article (only one) that mis-reported that he attended with no photos as proof. That reporter could have based his article on IU's previous year concert. 

    This has already been discussed and clarified back in Dec.
