1st time in this thread...and i just finished this drama 2 days ago...so here's my two-piece about it...
Why i watched?
Only started watching K-dramas since feb...so i was fashionably late in deciding to watch the famous 4 season dramas, Autumn, Summer, Winter, Spring....
So last week it was Summer Scent....and for those of you who watched it....its quite impossible to not fall in love with Son Ye Jin.....so a new Son Ye Jin fan i became....and obviously i wanted to see her in other movies/dramas....and Alone in Love is the onli drama after Summer Scent....
The Drama
At first, watching the drama and enjoying it was entirely because Son Yeh Jin is the lead.....episode one was hilarious....there were really good sarcastic metaphoric dialogues we had in there....with married/divorced couples lashing out at one another (egoistic behaviour)...it was refreshing watching a totally diff plot form the usual love conquers all, and dying hospitals scenes and crying like hell kinda dramas (u noe like fantasy land kind)
Alone in Love was realistic, funny, sad and romantic at the same time....it gave me the feeling of being somewhat deep....with all the monologues and dialogues...metaphors about love, life and relationships...not just the usual love squares....

The first few episodes, were like how everyone described it to be, introductory...Then it moved on to show us a bit of what happened in the past, and how their lives are now....Eun Ho and Dong Shin being rather contented having a mutual friendship/lover realtionship for the past 1 1/2 years...meeting up for nothing at all...but not all the time yet not avoiding each other or neither were they being intimate lovers...just like old friends, a father, a sister, a brother and mother to one another...watching out for each other....(flashback : Dong Shin checking on Eun Ho's bike every morning, habitual lunching in D.Donut)
Then, the middle part of the drama, brought about the question....This thing we're doing...is it normal??...so they decided to get into new relationships reluctantly, trying to move on....however, seeing one another with different people in their lives....him/her caring for another individual other than themselves....brought pain to each their hearts...
Then the next question came...Are we really ok with this??? Are we happy??....jealousy comes in next...another few more rounds of lashings and sarcasm along with pretentious well wishing with each others' partners....yet nothing is being done to fix the situition as the string is yet to be completely broken...(metaphorically they are still bound by a single thread, not a rope, just a thread....like how they're still sure that both still cares for the other.....the new person is less important...no thread there)
When the pain became more unbearable, Complete separation was the next trial, which caused even more pain...ending with both deciding to accept each others' new 'lives' yet still meeting up as 'old' friends......in the way literally lying and cheating themselves....
The Last part brings home the ultimate question....Can I Live Without You??...here we see Dong Shin, literally burning away his memories with Eun Ho and taking on marriage with his new bride...meaning A Forever Goodbye....As we think the wedding would mean closure to all this chaotic mess of emotions....the original plot from the beginning of the story resurfaces, the reason of their separation.....
Eun Ho finding out the truth too late showed us her despair, misery and regrets...of all her years of being and independent strong woman, this truth burnt her soul, living on was a drag...(this part was very intense, Ye Jin's performance here will definitely bring you to tears)
On His part, purportedly, us the audience, was shown happiness and a blissful marriage for a short period of time....but soon...reality strikes...
The last two episodes....was the best....answering the question before this....No, I Can't Live Without You....then for the first time, we viewers got to see them being honest and true to theirselves for the first time...
The End....
Conclusion
Loved this drama, especially SYJ....recommended to people who think alot to watch it...like i said, its quite deep....

OMg....i don't believe it toook me sooo long to watch this series...WHY??? didn't i watch it earlier.....now its one of my favourite series...definitely top3....
Ahhh......and why do alll the oppas of my favourite series go to the army when i start loving them????
OMG, this series is so so so beautiful....the most Beautiful Drama i've watched in my life....everything is so pretty and beautiful, the show, the story, the scenevery, the clothes, and most of all the most beautiful thing is Son Ye Jin....how much more Gourgeous a lady can get???
i was shocked to find out that when Ye jin was only 21 doing this drama....and whats her name...the girl from sweet 18??? was only 19???......thats why i love Korean actors/actresses.....they do it so well at such an age...like it can be their debut or first few dramas...and u can't tell...amazing talent...

Never watched any Ye Jin shows until few days ago when i decided to watch Summer Scent.....Its just too too beautiful....everything the show, the clothes, the scenery....and most of all Ye Jin....GOURGEOUS
So u can say, im a new Ye Jin fan...and now i'm gonna watch Alone in Love, and all her movies....

Wow.. so hard to search news from Baidu. Been there for hours now. Again I have to say this is only speculation from Baidu fans. JJH went to Bali with his friend, Jinu. And after the trip, the Baidu fans found some photos in JJH's good friend's cyworld (Jinu). They believed the items in both pix belong to be YEH's. They said YEH was using the pink Moto V3 at the airport and sunglasses to the Bali shoot (for magazine).
The first 2 photos were in Jinu's cyworld. The others photos are evidence to show they own those things.

Here's another analysis on KISSES...this time on the street kiss....i think that one's quite real too...remember in the BTS??? they were like walking into the street with hoardes of ppl around them...obviously the camera was far away and they i believe had no lines to speak while filming that...i believe the part when YEH, oopps CG asked SHIN...how much do u love me blablabla ... that scripted part was probably recorded later or before (i dunno) and was inserted into the video later on....definitely not a on the spot life take....
So that means....when they were filming the street kiss...it was probably a..."hey lets go into the crowd and kiss kinda thing....and then oopss we got toooo 'INTO' it....Omo, everyone is staring!!"....and quickly both of them looks around...and run off in embarrasment...LOL....
I mean why would they run off??? they are professional artists right??? its totally alright to kiss like that if ure supposed to do it right...so whats up with the embarrasment and running off like that???

actually i watch goong with dubbed chinese..n chinese subs
i really hate to hear dubbed voice, :fury: but wat to do...cant find any original DVD

Hi i'm Malaysian too...obviously the land of pirated CDs....since the official original english subbed version isn't out yet...u can get bootlegged korean/mandarin audio with eng and chinese subs from SS2 PJ selangor apparently...JAMIEYN told me...ask her...PM her....or whatever....she knoes exactly where...but if u're not from KL/PJ...Johor Bahru has tons of it...in any audio any subs..(JB is the ultimate pirate location anyways)...
i've seen china made ones...but they suck trust me...

SO DAMN GOOD this drama....unforgettable...because of this drama...i became a Kim Yoo Jin fan!!

hello! I'm new to this thread..I've only just started watching...can i know what season 2 of Goong is going to be about? Anyone knows?? And it kinda shocks me to see YEH dwarfed by JJH...cos like..I'm only 1-2 cm taller then her..so taht makes me around her height..and in the show she mostly wears high heels about 5 cm..yet! JJH still towers above her..man..tt's just sooo scary!!! ahha..but they look so cute together!!! and it's cool he's tt tall..man..i'll never find a guy tt tall..aish..no fair...i want to feel protected too!

GOONG 2 is supposed to be a seguel to GOONG 1....apparently 6 epis...(not sure...some ppl say 4 epis)....few weeks ago...everybody was certain that there would be a GOONG 2 coming out next year Jan/FEB but very recent reports from YEH's CYworld (her blog) and news reports...etc...has unconfirmed the two leads for GOONG 2...so we GOONG CAMPERS are camping here going crazee thinking about and finding out about the possibilities of GOONG 2 happening...
Yeah and get what u mean about JJH 'towering' over her...when i watched YEH in Escaping From Charisma...she was so much bigger looking than in GOONG (not as in fatter.thinner) she was so tall looking...in GOONG...she looks so small next to JJH...MB thats why...JJH is so purfect for our dear princess...i can't imagine any other guy to look good with her...JJH's height a definite ++++++

HEY GUYS...i found something weird...
You know in EPI8....after the show ends you have like preview of upcoming episodes...the weird thing about epi8 preview of episode9, there is this scene of CG telling YUL that she likes SHIN (which was suppose to take place at the bottle tree place) but in the preview she was telling YUL the same sentence but it was not outdoors on under the 'bottle' tree...it was indoors....(like in the PALACE or something)

NO...they did not make anything in GOONG1....quite sure of it...cos...we din get to see it...so it can't be...but if u back track this thread (which is quite hard since we're into thousands already).....basically its just a cliffhanger to cushion the welcoming of GOONG2...which was very confirmed to happen (or so we thought) but very recently, was again unconfirmed of happening or not...but whatever it is...GOONG rawks and NO, no baby was made....btw she was suppose to be in Macau studying for quite long....and they're supposed to have not seen each other in a while...so quite impossible...Hope this helped..

Love him (JJH too).....Last Dance was my First K-Drama, and the ONE that made me fall in love with this whole K-drama frenzy....so unforgettable...rewatched so many times....still rewatching....
and then came lots of other K-dramas....and then came GOONG.....simply unforgettable...

So weird that REBBY posted about it.....She's really feisty in here...like how jeon ji hun is in sassy girl and windstruck....but the story ain't about her....(You really gotta like YEH alot to watch this...just my opinion)
Yups, the stuffs she's taking on lately has a very 'sporty' feel....Like these pics of her in Sports' Bra in Legend of Seven Cutter....weird how she's a boxer.....Through this movie only i realised that YEH is actually really tall for a girl....MB cos JJH is so so so tall that she seems so small next to him...(hihihi...so matching)

She's the gem that puts a smile on audience's faces with her role in the hit TV drama, “Goong”, or “Princess Hours” - actress YOON EUN-HYE!
From singer to actress, she's been at the center of attention and deemed one of the hottest stars of 2006. STAR FOCUS got Yoon Eun-hye for a little one-on-one.
We sat down with her during a commercial shoot for a green tea beverage. Yoon's schedule has been CRAZY hectic, but she was happy to meet with us!
With her soaring popularity
as a budding actress, Yoon Eun-hye is swamped with daily casting calls for commercials. She takes this one in-stride - a vivacious young lady, full of bouncy cheer, a bit simliar to her character in “Princess Hours”!
From hit comic book series, to the small screen - the adaptation of “Princess Hours”! It's a fictitious tale of Korea as a constitutional monarchy, with a royal family. Yoon is an ordinary high-school girl who ends up marrying the royal prince. For first-time actress Yoon Eun-hye, the response has been pleasantly shocking.
But the truth is that Yoon Eun-hye wasn't welcome in the acting arena at first. People were surprised to hear that such a rookie would be taking the lead in an upcoming drama; A rookie who used to be a singer and had no formal acting training. But she showed them how it could be done! Yoon Eun-hye played her character PERFECTLY and made sparks fly with co-star, Joo Ji-hoon. So, how is it that she dug-out such a hidden talent?
In 1999, a five-member girl group blasted into K-pop. They were Baby VOX and that was Yoon Eun-hye's debut into stardom.
They cranked out hit after hit, and basked in the limelight. Not many people realize how popular Baby VOX actually was - They were one of the first to promote overseas, forerunners of the Korean Wave.
