well, the run was fun while it lasted. Main thing is that they ended their playoff drought. Everything after that was just a plus.

The suns might be screwed for the next game, there's a chance diaw and amare might get suspended due to the fact they left the bench when nash was thrown into the announcer table. Let's hope that they buy their excuse that amare was getting ready to check back into the game.
Man I am disappointed on Warriors, but I am still rooting for them!Same here, as barkley says, they're not gonna die, you have to kill them. I guess the plus side though if warriors get knocked out tonight, I finally get to shave my "playoff beard"..haha it's starting to look dirty.

well that wuz my point. i mean ur not gonna make every single lay up nor get every single call when u get fouled but that doesnt mean u should stop attacking the basket. even if u miss 13 free throws it still doesnt mean u should stop attacking the basket. remember the more free throws the better.
Well I'm not exactly disagreeing with you. I would definitely like to see them attack the basket more, especially during crunchtime. It's really hard to say what the better thing to do is though. More free throws the better, I think that only applies if they actually make them, but it would be a good idea to get aggressive just to get their key guys in foul trouble like what happened with deron williams and fisher in game 3. I remember last season everytime warriors got fouled, it was actually turning into a good thing for the other team to do. It was like hack at shaq but with the whole team.

I think there's a chance jrich will get suspended, baron not so much. To me it looked like fisher ran into baron while baron was running back onto the court.
hate to say i told u so. i told those 3's they were shooting were going to catch up to them. like i said the warriors need to learn to drive to to the basket instead of take 3's. they had a 5 point lead and why take 3's to build the lead. i would tell them to get to the basket and to the free throw line and build there lead like that. i still believe the warriors have a chance ONLY IF THEY STOP SHOOTING SOO MUCH AND GET TO THE BASKET.Anyways, yes, the warriors got way too 3 happy, but getting to the FT line didn't help them either. They missed 13 of them. As for going to the hole, jackson did that plenty, only to either turn the ball over or miss then complain to the ref while the game is still going on. As much as I like the guy's emotion out there, he needs to just shut up and get back on D. Harrington goes to the basket too, but he's a horrible finisher inside, and horrible FT shooter. Biedrins is their main inside guy, but they can just hack him all day like shaq cuz he's another horrible FT shooter. So the FT line doesn't exactly help the warriors a whole lot. Warriors have been known to be a horrible FT shooting team. My friends and I would joke around whenever we missed our FTs and say "you caught the warriors disease."

not really the warriors only have baron davis who drives to the basket. thats why i always say there luck is going to run out. think about can u always be on fire with shooting 3's all day. i have yet to see a team win 2 series in a row with just stright out shooting light outs. im not saying that the warriors are a bad team but if they dont stop shooting so much 3's there gonna lose.
i have money on the jazz to if the warriors keep shooting and no take it to the hole but if they take it to the hole i have money on the warriors.
Well, if monta ellis gets his confidence back, as long as nellie plays him and give baron time to rest, you will see him go to the hole a lot. Biedrins can also be a good presence inside when they decide to feed him, but yes, the warriors do take a lot of 3s, but that's their style. The only time I have a problem with it is if it's crunch time and they force the 3 when they have to have a bucket.

Warriors were never good at closing out games, especially on the road. Tonight reminded me of a game from last season and it ended in the same way against the jazz. Warriors were down, but Jrich took the team on his shoulders, rolled his ankle, came back anyways and made a miraculous comeback. The game was theirs only to let it slip away in OT cuz they couldn't make their free throws. At this point I can't say I'm too happy about this rotation nellie is using. He's going to run baron into the ground, and from that he's also killing monta's confidence. I honestly didn't think monta screwed up much tonight either, at least he has the right idea in being aggressive and trying to attack the rim. I felt bad for the guy, he looked so depressed after getting pulled out. Nellie needs to learn to trust his bench a little more. If they manage to pull out of this series with the win, I can almost guarantee they won't get have much left in the conference finals.

I just want to add for the record, I'm not hating on fish. He's a good guy and I feel bad about his current situation.

I'll admit I was wrong, fisher played good D. I'm just still too used to watching him the passed 2 years as a warrior constantly letting guys blow passed him. You still gotta keep in mind though, fisher came in with pretty fresh legs against baron who had play 30+ minutes already.

haha, jazz were just lucky fisher wasn't available, he would have been abused. As good a shooter he is, he can't guard a lamp post or finish inside. It's nice not having to get frustrated watching him on the warriors.
Anyways, yea, warriors got a little too 3 happy in the end. I was pretty mad, baron had a layup to tie the game, instead he throws it out to al for a brick. It's nice to see al have his game back though after being non-existent in the first series. That last possession too, having jackson shoot the 3 was probably my last choice. He was horrible all night, I would have rather set up al, jrich or even barnes to shoot that 3. What does the guy have to do to draw a foul too? Jackson's like getting thrown to the ground almost everytime he goes to the hole and nothing. The rebounding is a big issue. They all need to crash the boards instead of trying to leak out for the break. It's gonna slow their game down, but you can't run a fast break if you don't have the ball.

well, i think that matchup works both ways. cuz yao wouldn't be able to do anything on the defensive end, but then golden state wouldn't be able to stop yao inside. in fact, nobody in the current golden state rotation(i'm thinking of biedrins and harrington who are the only two guys who play center) would be able to contend with yao. but yeah, he also wouldn't be able to play defense against both of them.
Well actually, they would be able to stop yao inside. On their last game of the season, they held yao to only 4 shots the whole game. The way they did it was they would have harrington front yao the whole time, and if they still got the ball to him, a second defender would come and smother him from behind..sorta like what they did to dirk. It was very effective.

Baron Davis is THE man. Injured, banged up and he's still unstoppable on the floor. I am so proud of these guys.

whether warriors win the series or not, I'm proud of what they accomplished this season. They needed a huge run down to the last game to even make the playoffs and they pulled it off. They've finally given us something to cheer about in the post season, and for them to even give the Mavs as much trouble as they have is impressive. When they were down 21 last night, they could have easily folded, but they lived up to the name of "warriors" to make it a ball game again. Whether you're a fan of either teams are not, just being a fan of basketball, you have to admit that this series has been very entertaining.

What I don't understand is how jackson gets tossed out for clapping, while terry only gets 1 T for putting baron to the ground. Either way, I expected warriors to lose tonight, and it was still a great game to watch.

I have to say, dirk stepped it up, but he got away with a huge call. Jrich should have been shooting 3 from the line.

idunno why people are doubting the maveriks. last year lakers got suns down 3-1 and came back to win it... 2-7 seeds, theres a high chance a 1-8 seed can do it >_<
The difference is when the suns were down 3-1, nash still believed they could win. Before game 4, dirk already sounded defeated when he said if they lost game 4, the season would pretty much be over for them. Suns have an mvp in nash, but this series, in my eyes, have shown me that dirk doesn't deserve the mvp. Also, I'd say the warriors this season have a lot more fire in them than the lakers of last season, and the warriors don't rely entirely on baron like the lakers do kobe. Another advantage is that nellie knows dirk's weaknesses. I can put out a huge list, but I'm not going to. I'm not counting mavs entirely out cuz I do expect them to win game 5, but I think warriors just clearly have the advantage since the mavs don't seem to have a way to stop baron.

one win away from playoffs. It just sucks that Suns didn't put the clips away for us so that we could have clinched the 8th spot at home. Tomorrow shouldn't be a problem with ROY and randolph out.

Mavs are able to control who they face in the first round, but I wouldn't think beating the warriors on tuesday would be easy considering that the warriors have beat the mavs the last 5 times they met. I think it would make a great series though since Nellie has history with the mavs.

Haha, right on. The fight for the last 2 spots is getting tight now. I just hope warriors can win out.
