I totally agree with you on this...I mean, I'm not angry at JH per se, I just am wrecking my brain trying to understand her actions but I can't!!!
I feel like I have missed something major since the last episode because most of you are saying that JH left because it's selfless love (how?!). I don't understand how though, if anyone could explain that to me it'd help a lot with my understanding.
Personally I see JH's actions as selfish, even if she meant well: she left because she wanted SH to open up, come to terms with his own Room 19, and choose her actively. But my question is: why must she do that? Is it that necessary because she already somehow got to know about his feelings. Knowing how he is, why is she trying to push him over the edge? Why can't she just accept him for who he is? She is making him so miserable, so as to "push" him into taking actions, that's a bit extreme no?
If she wants to leave him because she can't be with someone like that in the long run (can't deal with all the insecurities, can't deal with the opacity of his feelings etc) then fine, but it's for her own good, for the well-being of her heart. She shouldn't say that it's for SH (okay she didn't say this, but it's our own interpretation) when the poor guy is suffering so much because it's just how he works. I'm just being the devil's advocate here but I don't see why she absolutely has to change him, love is based on compromise and understanding, not because one is pulling these stunts to trigger feelings from the other person. I love JH to bits but I don't understand her move this time, maybe we will see more of her point of view in the next episode. Instead of acting like she did, she could simple sit him down and confront him about JM, about his feelings for her (I mean I would want to know whether the kisses meant anything!), and their future together (or the possibility of). How is this different from when HR gave WS the pressure to marry her? I understand that people need to get out of their comfort zone once in a while to grow, but the way she went about it just makes me so frustrated...
At the end of the day, I wish and I know that our couple will get a happy ending. However it just kinda drives me crazy that they can't just sit down and talk and avoid all of this misunderstandings and sufferings!

Hi guys!
I finally had the time to watch the subbed episodes today, even if I had already spoilt myself rotten since Monday with the live recaps, translations, gifts, TvN clips and analysis from everyone haha
to be honest, I was in such a dilemma yesterday, my heart sank to the floor after the last live recap of JH telling SH "let's end the contract", I was screaming noooooo in my head, and pulling my hair out because of this overused trope of "I-met-the-ex-and-I-am-not-good-enough-so-I-will-just-break-up-to-save-my-heart" (alternatively, "The-guy-loves-the-girl-and-showed-the-world-his-love-for-her-but-somehow-she-is-the-only-oblivious-one"). I mean, we took pride the in the fact that this drama was so different from your average kdrama because of the writer's creativity for plot twists, and we ended up with the most cliché cliffhanger out there, for the last two episodes at that. That hurt! However, after reading everyone's point of view, I calmed myself down, watched the episodes and even though it hurts, I am able to think more rationally now (lol as if I am in complicated relationship with this drama
) after watching the episodes.
I will start off with HR and WS: like everyone else, I finally feel something for this couple! Thank God that break-up came because it was just too frustrating to see how they kept on missing out on each other since the beginning of the story. Maybe that's what the writer wanted us to feel as well by making us witnessing a relationship that lasted for a bit too long and that should have ended a while back: frustration and pain. To be honest, I wouldn't wish it on anyone else in a long relationship, but in this particular case, I am really glad that they finally broke it off. They were just wasting each other's time, it's so painfully realistic to see that love unfortunately is not enough to make a relationship work (which is what usually is portrayed in kdramas..."as long as you have love nothing matters"
).
I know some of us wish for them to get back together in the end, but I personally and pragmatically don't see how, even though they still love each other so much: HR still wants to get married ASAP (and I won't even blame the girl anymore for making this the only goal in her life, to each their own), and WS maybe eventually will be thinking of getting married in 5 years. So one of them will have to sacrifice, and seriously, sacrifice is the worst thing out there for me from my personal experience because it could bring out resentment and bitterness later in the relationship. Sometimes it's just better to leave things broken than to mend them, only to get a deeper cut later. I see so much potential for happiness between WS and BM, as well as HR and the new guy (I honestly thought that they were cute!). If the writer decides to go with them getting back together, then be it...but I will be a bit disappointed because WS-HR's relationship seems to be a "has-been" thing for me. They deserve happiness, and them being together is just making them so unhappy, and destroying whatever good memories they had during those 7 years of being together.
Onto JH and SH: where do I even start with them haha, I felt like everyone already said everything, but just a few words anyway. I'm more of the weak-hearted type, I like to protect my heart and believe in the worst so that when the good happens, I would be pleasantly surprised, so I somehow understand JH's decision to end the contract (but I did scream out "why are you doing this to SH when the poor guy just spent the whole day running around to protect you???"). You remember just last week how we were saying that we felt so frustrated for JH, some of us was even unhappy about the kiss because we didn't see how SH's feelings came together? From this week's episode, I think that even SH's himself was not aware of how much he liked/loved JH (despite the intense making out lol), until the talk with SG where he realized that he had only been worrying about JH and JH alone, even with JM's appearance. So his heart has long healed and opened to her, just that he didn't realize it...and unfortunately, the realization came a bit too late as JH has decided to end the contract (I'm not brave enough to speculate whether i) it's just to start a new "normal" relationship where she is sure that SH loves her, or ii) she is actually just asking to leave the house altogether because it hurts her too much to stay there

Whatever she meant by that, I just am crossing fingers that it won't be some stupid misunderstanding, because really, SH just decided to open his heart to love and be happy again, it's really sad if he thinks that all he does to girls he loves is hurting them so badly that they all want to leave him. I understand where JH's coming from (hello, he has been kissing, holding her hands etc without saying a word about their current status and his feelings), but it's just so unfortunate that it has to happen now now now, if you know what I mean. But again, it's a kdrama lol, of course it would happen now. So please, for my weak heart, they need to resolve this nonsensical misunderstanding by at the end of next episode at the latest, we still need them to act all cutesy and in love, what about the bed scene, and the kissing, and the babies??? Just a small note on JH and JM: I really like JM as the ex, she's so cool! But at the same time I don't know how the situation is going to pacify, because she is going to be JH's boss for a long time, and the 3 of them will still be linked to each other. That's just weird no?
Anyway thank you guys, and sorry for the long read! One more week until the end of this wonderful ride <3

It has always been streaming for me. But this is one drama that I actually would like to save on my computer somewhere, so I'm seriously considering downloading everything. Hello everyone!
The wait leading to this week's episodes was so so hard because of the kiss at the end of the preview! I am so glad that it happened, it was such a feast to the eyes (ehem I admit to replaying the scenes several times and observing their lips/tongue movements...
) and to the heart. I haven't had time to comment in this thread in a long while due to my schedule, but I was still religiously lurking over here. I usually never follow a live airing of a drama, but I am so obsessed about SH and JH this time around I am so glad that I am a part of this ride with you guys, the awesomeness of the story/acting aside, it's the feeling that we are all together, dissecting and analysing every detail
Anyway I just wanted to say something about the latest development of SH and JH. Some of you mentioned that they seem awkward the next day, and didn't address the kiss at all, which was rather unlike them since they had always been on top of the game whenever it comes to honest communications. Even if I would have loved for them to acknowledge that they are now a couple, I personally think that they are now still in the "coming to terms with the new relationship status phase". No matter how honest with each other they had been, there's bound to be some awkwardness because this is a new phase in their relationship. We just need to give them some time (but again, we are running out of time, only 4 episodes left!!!) to get used to the new status quo. It's true that they are acting like teenagers in love, but let's bear in mind that JH has yet to have a first relationship, and SH hasn't been on the dating scene for 12 years (and worse, he had been punishing himself by not being happy and falling in love on purpose).
I actually was sad for JH when they were on the bus coming back from Namhae, poor girl, because she wanted to be much more affectionate with SH after the kiss. The inner monologue said it all, that rather than feeling ecstatic because they kissed, it was more of an uncertain feeling of "now what" because i) JH knows that SH had been hurt so badly before ii) SH never declared his feelings openly. I think she didn't bring up the topic the next day because she is still unsure of his feelings for her: a kiss doesn't always mean that you like/love someone, and even less the start of a relationship. It shows with her hesitation to take his hand even if she was dying inside to, or to ask to stay with him longer at night after they are done watching TV (right before the infamous "Let's sleep together tonight" from SH...).
As for SH, I think we all agree that he likes JH (the attraction is strong with this one
). I would love to be in his head to know the process in details, because that would be so swoon-worthy and especially hilarious from his point of view. I too was disappointed that he acted so aloof with JH after the kiss and not be more affectionate. But after thinking about it, I think I understand a bit where he is coming from. SH was aware of JH's feelings for him, and realizing more and more of his own feelings for her despite his efforts to keep them in check because he was scared of hurting her and himself in the process. It was only when they were looking at the sea that he realized that it was okay to embrace his feelings/attraction for the girl right in front of him. So for me, the kiss was not a spontaneous move as in his feelings have been growing over time, but it was not that much of a calculated move either, because it probably just occurred to him that it was okay to start over again even if his heart had been broken before (and to kiss her senseless...). The emotional turmoil came after the kiss, as in he probably got even more scared than before now that he has kissed her because he now realizes that he likes her a whole lot and actually wants to start a relationship with her (thus the attempt to date). So he was just mulling about it the whole time after the kiss...it was only in the last scene of episode 12 when they ere going to bed that he made the conscious choice of taking it further, because he wants to be happy, and JH makes him happy. It's selfish and unfair to JH because we can see how she had been free-falling for him, whereas SH had his doubts, but in the end I find it very realistic because while some people fall in love and it's instant attraction at the same time, some others take time to warm up, and sometimes it's one party that loves the other party first/more But I believe that SH will be deeply in love with her in no time, JM is here to make him realize the depth of his feelings for JH.
Okay that was long, I hope I made sense. I seriously can't wait for next week! I think I am not the only one hoping for a real bed scene even if it is a bit delusional lol...SH should just grab JH again and teach her some new moves!!! Rawwwwr

Just a quick comment on SJ: I understand that she was going braless to work, which could be frown upon. However, IMHO, I really think that the right attitude would be blaming those men for looking at her breasts, and not blame the girl for her choice of attire. If she should be blamed for anything, it would just be for not dressing appropriately for work, that shall be the only good reason, and not because she was attracting guys with her "free breasts". I find it a pity that girls/women have to pay attention to what they wear, so as to not catch the attention of the perverts. Why restrain their freedom just because some people don't know how to behave? But of course, I am all for dressing for the right occasion
On a side note: has anyone noticed LMK's constant red eyes (more like the contour of his eyes...not sure if you get what I mean) ? I wonder whether it's just how his eyes are, or because the poor guy is just so tired from all the filming....

I hope that it is okay for me to vote too, just a lurker around here (for ages though). It is such a hard choice, the poems were so beautifully written. Number 4 just went straight to the heart, "I only loved silently, my passion mute" isn't it JK or what??? Anyway I feel awful for not picking it, but I vote for number 5, which I feel is very representative of our couple.

I just caught a bit of the celebration part which had streaming issue and to be honest, I can't look at him the same way that I saw him since ep 1 till before his interview. He's not wrong, in case someone jumps to his defence. It's a matter of opinion.
All I can say is that I agree with some that Oh My Ghostess spearheaded him into his acting career and I'm sure he had expressed gratitude before. But, WGM escalated him to stardom that is several notch higher than before WGM and is helped by Kim So Yeon's popularity, without denial. He will not be where he is today with extreme popularity if not for WGM. Just look at his friends in One O One without WGM - nowhere near Si Yang's fame. See my point?
So for me, it seems appropriate that he is grateful to the current WGM which brought him to where he is today, rather than OMG for which he would have been thankful for during that period, I'm sure
No offence, but... Kwak Si Yang shouldn't you be at least thankful to the comp. and people who put you to where you are right now? I think they deserve credits...101 started to come out from the box now... common look at that... it's not from OMG, wake up. If I were one of the WGM staff of MBC and specially the effort of So Yeon and staff... I will be disappointed. I'm just wondering why they have kept mentionning Yoon Eun Hye so often nowadays, it's been the case for at least 5 episodes already! o.O Like seriously, why now??? Lol either she's going to appear on the show (what I hope for pleassssse!) or KJK is going out with her so they're announcing the news this way so as the public gets used to it (delusional mind...)...naah but seriously it's bugging me =.=

Today is truely not our day, is it? All the heartbreaking news coming all at once.
I wholely support Yonghwa and Seohyun as individual artists, I should be happy about Yonghwa's new drama, but I am not, I am only human after all. It's hard to let go of our lovely couple when I've followed their episodes since the very beginning.
Seriously, tell me, how can you get rid of this habit of mine to religiously wait every week for the show and check this thread everyday for more than a year? I still need time to digest all this, before I can become mature and thank them for showing us their beautiful journey for the past year. It'd only be lying if I were to say that I'm excited about the new drama. I feel selfish for thinking this way though.
The only reason that I'm sad is because of a fear, this fear that they won't have a chance to preserve their wonderful blooming feelings/relationship outside of WGM. They're both mature for their age, and I don't doubt for a second that their genuine affection/liking for each other is serious, but can it be nurtured with their busy schedules? It's a fact that they are young rising idols who have so much on their plate to deal with other than their feelings. I still can't get over the fact that many other WGM couples whom I was sure to get together for real didn't. Again, I am not saying that what those couples had together during their WGM was not real, it's just the post-WGM period, when all the hypes die down and they move on with their busy lives.
I'm really curious now as to what Yonghwa and Seohyun feel about this? I can't even bear to think about the sadness that they must be going through. Virtual or not, it's simply not possible to come out of this experience and not feel anything. As fans, we're affected, we're sad because we will not see them as a couple again, as much as we badly want them to go on with WGM. However, as the main characters of their story, they're affected in their own way, and I don't doubt that it's even worse than what us fans feel about their ending.

I think that before we rush into analyzing Yonghwa's feelings (well more like attempt to do so
since he's the only one who knows) and doubt them because of what we see on screen, let's not forget that IN REAL life, this was the same guy who:...looked so worried when he lost his couple ring during his performance
...bought Seohyun a two-row field to plant sweet potatoes
...introduced her to his mother and childhood friends
...wrote her a song, voicing his feelings to the world
Aren't they concrete proofs of his affection (at least!) for her?
When it comes to our couple, I can't help but analyze every single thing, just because I badly want them to be together. However the more I think, the more doubts and questions keep coming up. That's why I always try to keep in mind what they have both done for each other and consistently but subtlely shown us fans

I can't help but look back the journey that they have travelled together. Look at how comfortable they are now with each other! I just want to cry every time hahaha, yup I'm that proud of them xD

And I seriously don't understand why his "Crooked Pirate Arm" was such a big deal for the MC, because I remember doing that too, mostly because when you are afraid she lets go of your arm, you crook it like Yonghwa did, so if her grasp isn't that tight, she just can't slid off. I could completely relate to everything he did this episode. I like Jinwoon and Seulong a lot, but sometimes I think they are overreacting when it comes to Yonghwa.

I second this. I first thought that his arm was in an awkward position as well. However I then interprete it as him afraid of her letting her arm go, like what you had so well described. That happened to me quite a number of times, like when a guy I liked put his arm around my shoulder, I became stiff and would not move much because I didn't want him to take it off
What made me happy is how tightly her arms were linked to Yonghwa's at first, even when he had first jerked away ^^ Hehehehe~! It seems to me that she was really determined to do that, thus held on to the end. Oh by the way, someone talked about how Seohyun was touchy-feely in this episode, I want to add this one moment: you know when entering the 7/11, Yonghwa was being silly with his hands holding up like a gun, she touched his hands for a moment as to tell him to stop doing it xD I found that cute~! Anyway kudos to all the translators! ^^ You made my day with your awesome translations. And all the beautiful caps!!!

A guy friend told me that the difference between pretty and hot is that the former is about the face and the latter about the body. He then said that the pretty one could become hotter than the hot one (lol does this make any sense?

Do you guys also think this way?I have another question: girls are usually the ones that spend a lot of time on the phone, however if a guy does that as well, talking for a long time on the phone or always calling a girl, does it mean something special? Or guys could be as well out right bored and just want someone to chat with? ^^

Is there any reason to think of this as the truth (because "interested" doesn't equal "like")? Let's say that it's a lie, why would he lie about such a thing?

Until last year, I've longed like crazy to be involved with someone. It felt like I was missing out my high school life because I didn't go out with anyone (hmm the guys I liked were never into me lol). Since I was 11 I've been continuously crushing on guys. It's embarrassing to admit this, however I couldn't bear the idea of being single and NOT in "love"
Anyway up until a few months ago I really liked this particular guy. It didn't work out for me (of course
) and I ended up being hurt really badly by him. Ever since it seems that my [used-to-be] burning desire to love and be loved calmed down a whole lot, which is a totally cool and new experience for me.Indeed it's like a breath of fresh air. I am so glad that I am a part of this ride with you guys, the awesomeness of the story/acting aside, it's the feeling that we are all together, dissecting and analysing every detail 
). I would love to be in his head to know the process in details, because that would be so swoon-worthy and especially hilarious from his point of view. I too was disappointed that he acted so aloof with JH after the kiss and not be more affectionate. But after thinking about it, I think I understand a bit where he is coming from. SH was aware of JH's feelings for him, and realizing more and more of his own feelings for her despite his efforts to keep them in check because he was scared of hurting her and himself in the process. It was only when they were looking at the sea that he realized that it was okay to embrace his feelings/attraction for the girl right in front of him. So for me, the kiss was not a spontaneous move as in his feelings have been growing over time, but it was not that much of a calculated move either, because it probably just occurred to him that it was okay to start over again even if his heart had been broken before (and to kiss her senseless...). The emotional turmoil came after the kiss, as in he probably got even more scared than before now that he has kissed her because he now realizes that he likes her a whole lot and actually wants to start a relationship with her (thus the attempt to date). So he was just mulling about it the whole time after the kiss...it was only in the last scene of episode 12 when they ere going to bed that he made the conscious choice of taking it further, because he wants to be happy, and JH makes him happy. It's selfish and unfair to JH because we can see how she had been free-falling for him, whereas SH had his doubts, but in the end I find it very realistic because while some people fall in love and it's instant attraction at the same time, some others take time to warm up, and sometimes it's one party that loves the other party first/more 
But I believe that SH will be deeply in love with her in no time, JM is here to make him realize the depth of his feelings for JH.
I need spoilers...I couldn't watch it live....

LOL I know, it's a bit late for me to realize this, now that I'm already 18 haha. My youth was tainted with guys...LOL.

Sorry to cut your post, thank you so much for clarifying JH's motives for leaving! If you put it like that, I fully agree with her decision, she leaves because she wants to find herself, she doesn't want to be what society/family expects her to be in a marriage, because she is not sure of SH's love for her...but then is it okay for us in this case to say that she didn't leave out of her love for SH then? Even if she loves him, her leaving is way beyond that, it's more about herself. But while she does this, what does she expect SH to do? Wait around for her? Is she that confident that her move is the right one in order to change everything for the better? What if SH goes back to his shell? What if he gets too hurt and moves on with his lonely life, because it's better than getting hurt once again. They both have serious communications problems: SH lets her leave only because he thinks that he won't be able to make her happy, and JH somehow lets him continue thinking that with her actions ; meanwhile JH thinks that SH doesn't want to share his secret garden with her and is thus unsure of his feelings for her, and h somehow thinks it is okay to let her go without ever telling her about his feelings.
The situation is so messy....
