Hello all of you and thanks for useful post.
Can I say Joo Tae Nam my favorite character beside Baek Ho and Yi Seul. I like his view about love. Love is mean to be shared. In episode 6 My heart moved when he say to that male actor "Do you love Chae Rim" "Will you divorce your wife so you married Chae Rim". Seriously, this man always give love to Chae Rim although did not receive love as woman to man from Chae Rim. Of Course they love each other as friend. I know Tae Nam in Korean version not so funny as Tsurumi Hisashi (Japan Version). He put Chae Rim happiness first as priority. Love about give and share. For him having Chae Rim by his side is a great happiness he can achieve in his lifetime. Oh I know because I have friend like Tae Nam
If we look Tae Nam, Tae Nam is not kind of guy woman will dream for. He is short, not handsome, did not have hot nice body (maybe did not have six pack abs), not rich and stylist. He opposite of what woman want for boyfriend and husband type(Sorry if I say to much) . Seriously, if this man name Tae Nam really love a woman and much better get woman he will do his very best for his woman. He loyal, devotion, only have one love (First Love and Last Love), try hard made his woman happy, treasure his woman as the most important treasure in the universe and kind. In our real world this kind of man exist but we always overlook because we desire so much more that made our eyes can't see. I like this guy. May Chae Rim accept him as boyfriend then husband just like Proposal Daisakusen.
Can anyone tell me what the song name at scene Baek Ho piggyback Yi Seul to hospital in episode 6. That song so great and fit the moment.
GO Kang Baek Ho!!!!!! and Operation Proposal. Really hope rating achieve more than 1%.

Have fantastic feeling watching the final episode of Birth of the Rich and at the same time ah.....
want to see more. Even WS and TH have good ending. Funny ending for butler for Lee family (Bulldog) and Wan Byung Do (fisherman) because both of them did not get TH assistant however they have each other to comfort themselves.
Han So Jung I mean LSM secretary more become like her bos LSM and a man who love spray his mouth with something (don't know his name) chase after her and Han So Jung do the same thing spray her mouth.
There are other character I wonder what happen to them but never mind. Watch final episode yeah

. 18 April 2010 subtitle episode 10 is out today 20 April withs2.com release Episode 11 which is super fast. Have a lot of question which can be answered by watching with subs. What Shin MI father say at the end scene that make Tae Hee feel anxious?Episode 11 will be available to watch online soon. Love the scene when Lee Si Young act as Tae Hee mother with the mole in her cheek so hilarious.
First necklace wear by Choi Seok Bong, second earrings stole and keep safe by Tae Hee father, third the ring own by Shin Mi father and now bracelet fake Wu Byung Do (fisherman) son wear in his hand. All of it have the same symbol on it.
About rating. Just like Hwang Jung Min and Kim Ah Joong say (Accidental Couple) they did have a little care about it, so I am. When we see the rating of our beloved drama is good that make our heart happy which made a nice day. Fell excited and glorious if it get high rating. That just my opinion.

Understand the reason there are no kiss between main lead. It will be awkward, absurd and rush if there is such kiss between them. As cksdayoff say it kind of a new experience for her (Shin MI). I like the romance moment between Seok Bong and Shin Mi because their relationship is more like mature adult romantic relationship. SB know how to build up the romance relationship step by step not to rush
. Slow progress consider there are 20 episode so it make sense. The relationship between Tae Hee and Won Suk is something unique. I laugh when young Tae Hee teach arrogant chaebol son some manner in episode 14 when Woon Suk kneel. From Woon Suk character description he has sense of revenge. No wonder he has hatred feeling toward chaebol. With presence Tae Hee cheerful and joyful around him can made him have true smile face
Oh God, you guys and girls discuss about kissing made me feel (*^.^*). It look like some of us a big fan of Ji Hyun Wo, Lee Bo Young, Lee Si Young and Nam Goong Min. Seriously from this drama I know about Lee Bo Young for the first time. Usually Korean actress did not leave big affect to me but she did have big affect to me. It is wrong if I say my favorite actress that I love to watch is Lee Bo Young. Why Harvest Villa and TBOTR have receive a little attention?

. I don't know if this spoiler or what?. Although I did not understand Korean language but there are word I can understand. Choi Suk Bong father is Kang Chul Min the old man which sick lying on the bed who have suffer heart attack after saw the necklace.. After Boo Kwi Ho told him ending cliffhanger as usual. Thanks clockwatcher for previous information about dude that originally had it.
About that lovely picture is in episode 14. I already watch it.
About the kiss. Well Lee Bo Young can do that just like episode 8 Harvest Villa (Trust me if you watch it you will surprise how good she is) . I believe she's not terrible kisser
. Just hope the kiss not that Lee Si Young do in Descendant of Hong Gil Dong which can causes somebody fall of the chair. In Birth of the Rich the character she act is Boo Tae Hee. Really wonder when the kiss happen?Really eye candy see the romance moment between SB and SM.

I think it is a good thing if Boo Tae Hee fallen for Choi Suk Bong to prevent her deeply falling in love with Choo Woon Suk. However it also a bad thing I wonder If Taee Hee will do crazy thing to grab Suk Bong from Lee Shin Mi. Suk Bong is lucky because two rich woman fall for him.
Looks like Dong Yi rating finally beat this drama rating as I expect well we know Korean citizen like historical aka sageuk also good for business term. MBC drama will may or may not repeat history to gain high rating crush two SBS and KBS drama like Queen Seon Duk. Well this great miniseries still maintain the rating. One thing I hate about rating is when one drama gain very high rating the other drama will have low rating if broadcast at the same time and usually people judge drama based on rating cause people curious to watch it. That was one of the harsh reality we have to face it. I also watch Invincible Lee Pyung Kang although the rating got crush by Queen Seon Duk rating.That the first time I know Ji Hyun Woo.

i went to their website, and i saw episode 8, then after it, it says "HAN" so i clicked it...and it's all words and times...so they don't provide the video itself? just the subs?
How do u guys watch it then? u upload and save the video then edit it urself? I'm really curious...and desperate to watch ep. 8 coz viikii ain't workin'.

Of course we can help you . You must be refer to withs2.com. Which browser you use? Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or else. Like myself, I use Mozilla Firefox when reply your help. WITH S2 (Written In The Heavens Subbing Squad) don't provide video raw or hardsub video only provide soft-subtitle in .srt format file. Yes it just the subs . Go to this site http://withs2.com/view/the-birth-of-the-rich you see EPISODE 8 HAN move your cursor touch 'HAN' word right click to pop option then click Save Link As to save .srt format file in your computer if your are Firefox user. Encourage you visit http://withs2.com/help.
How we watch? Well that a question with many answer. My own answer is I download video raw and subtitle then watch it with subtitle use winamp player v5.541 (x86) . Some people surprise I watch video with sub use winamp player. So blackjackVip. Follow my step.
1, You need proper software such as window media player, VLC player, KMP player,GOM player, BS player and any suitable software. You can download this software free. Just smart google search. or visit www.allyoulike.com for free software.
2. Must have to install latest codec. Download from http://www.free-codecs.com/ and http://www.cccp-project.net/.
3. Download video raw. You can find it in page one of this thread. For me visit http://www.am-addiction.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5400 to download. (You need become a member first). Like say you download subtitle HAN version you must download video raw HAN version to prevent watching video out sync subs.
4. Right video for right subtitle. Make sure the name of the video and subtitle file is same. Example The.Birth.of.The.Rich.E08.100323.HDTV.XViD.HAN-[WITH S2].srt and The.Birth.of.The.Rich.E08.100323.HDTV.XViD.HAN-[WITH S2].avi in one folder. So the video and sub name must be same. You can rename the video right. Usually I just rename the video without have the word .srt.My tips copy the name of the subs without .srt word and rename the video with just paste the name.
5. Use software to watch video with subtitle. That's it.
For streaming sites watching this series online go this site http://www.dramasub.com/korean-drama-birth...ch-man-364.html. Well right now it just have episode 1-7.You just have to wait patiently. However I discourage you to do that. They actually hardsub the video then upload it but sorry I can't teach you that because it break the rule of WITH S2 and also Korea Law. I apologize because doesn't want to teach you how to hardsub the video then upload it. I am really sorry about that.

Have very little romance moment. It is you can say 'sort of' Indiana Jones. The synopsis itself may be the most strange synopsis you read. I don't know your own taste for drama. This drama should be gain more attention from internet user.It is because negative comment from dramabeans.com that made internet user have low interest about this drama.Mmm..... this drama got pick up after episode 4.Judging from 21 pages it looks like :[ well don't care about that. (right now)
Really surprise (*_*) about the rating. I know people hate chaebol story but after Pasta end this miniseries Birth of the Rich get number 1 position in Monday-Tuesday 9.50 PM beat two other historical drama. Usually from the past year KBS drama in Mon-Tue got crush attain low rating by two historical drama Yi San and The King and I in 2007. Wow KBS really is KBS Renaissance defeat Jejoongwon and Dong Yi (rating is increase gradually but still can't beat this drama rating). Actually if this drama gain low rating I still watch. There are many good Korean drama that got low rating such as Evasive Inquiry Agency. So don't judge drama based on rating.
This drama got extend 4 episode made this drama have 20 episode. I read from someone comment that 16 episode is not enough to wrap up the storyline. There are many thing should be unfold. Well I like this drama so I hope the extension do not hurt this drama story.
Really enjoy watching Ji Hyun Woo as Choi Suk Bong and Lee Bo Young as Lee Shin Mi chemistry. I think they can be business partner also life partner ( ^ - ^ ) V. Really hope this two ended up together in this drama.Oh God the true villain in this drama is Chon Wuu Sook. He is like Venomous Honey. He have hidden agenda to be kind, sweet and gentleman to Shin Mi. I must be crazy because watch two drama which Lee Bo Young become lead actress. One this drama and other is Harvest Villa. Well still can differentiate those two drama in romance aspect.
This drama have been air to 12 episode but OST just one refer to page one. Well we just have to be patient to get another OST.Patient is virtue and necessary.
Love the mystery especially about the 'only and one' symbol, romance moment, business aspect, suspense, smart comedy, the relationship between Boss and secretary, the veteran actor acting and other thing that I don't know how to describe it but for sure really really LOVE this drama.
One of three drama I can watch the video raw although I did not understand Korean language. Others is My Too Perfect Sons and Cinderella Sister.

This drama started to air here in the US last 11/21/09. I have recorded the drama, and edited out the commercials, and best of all, uploaded it for any fans who want to watch this in eng sub. I know I’m delayed by 12 episodes….but it’s never too late to fall for this drama. I’m working on recaps too, so bear with me.

This is my third time I post comment here at soompi forum. Usually I’m just silent reader.
I really really love this drama. Not because this drama has Yoon Eun Hye. I watch because it genre romance comedy and their synopsis. I want to relax my body and mind. Watching this kdrama will be like I drink tonic to restore my energy after tired working.
My sister introduces world of Kdrama to me. It started from Sassy Girl Chun Hyang then My Girl, Princess Hour, Full House, Wonderful Life, Really Really Like You, Three Dad one Mom, Hello! Miss, The Vineyard Man (My mother recommend to me) until I got sick of ‘Prince Charming' syndrome. Rich man with poor woman or something like that. I stop watching Kdrama.
This year I start watch Kdrama again when my sister show me interesting story Accidental Couple. Then I continue watch Partner (it has the real life element), My Too Perfect Sons and finally Take Care of the Young Lady.
What makes me hook up this Kdrama is Seo Dong Chan character. He is so funny, hilarious and self-cheerful. Although he have bad history about being gigolo to pay his mother hospital fee, I feel he try redeem himself because in one scene he rather have big debt than return to that job. I respect Dong Chan for hard decision. He works very hard to pay his debt.
The weird thing is my sister says she see a chemistry between Kang Hye Na (Yoon Eun Hye) and Seo Dong Chan (Yoon Sang Hyun). I say many people see chemistry between Kang Hye Na (Yoon Eun Hye) and Lee Tae Yoon (Jung Il Woo). My sister simply says it is because they are overshadow by young age and handsome face. In this world only young and handsome man deserve young and pretty woman? In real world sometimes it does sometimes doesn’t but that make world more beautiful. God is fair to all creatures. That makes cosmic balances exist. Some couple we see doesn’t look like match made in heaven. They are like binary star. They have each other and need each other. Seo Dong Chan is the one that can straightens her life, bring her ‘real’ personality, teach her to view life based on two perspective which is rich and poor life, to make her let go of first love (first love cannot be forgotten but has to let go) and to bring happiness. The most ordinary and foolish thing can become a wonderful and precious than having a lot of money, diamond and luxurious item when you put your heart into it. Seo Dong Chan can do this. My sister saying is true although she babble to me. Made me critical thinking. From now on I’m Hye – Chan shipper. I learn one valuable lesson from watching this drama.
I wonder why Kang Hye Na defends her employee at episode 3. From episode 1 and 2 I watch she doesn’t care about people. Normal lady can not drink 10 bottles in one night. We all know that 1 lust couple was responsible about wine bottle. Hye Na got this habit since Seo Dong Chan willing to take all blame on him about polo club accident. Who can do that? Hye Na grandpa said was true Hye Na slowly changing.
About rating I really don’t care (MFL rating is high at least that my opinion). I still remember Kdrama Three Dad One Mom (Yoon Sang Hyun have the minor role in this drama) have low rating at Korea. Korea Viewers taste is different. In my country this drama was very well received. My family, friends, neighbor and a lots of people watch this drama. I know Brilliant Legacy (Just read at http://wiki.d-addicts.com) have a high rating achieve 47%. In my country has so much that kind of drama. Why I want watch foreign drama if I can watch that kind of drama in my own country? The good thing ‘My Fair Lady’ will begin broadcast at 16 September 2009 at KBS World in my country Malaysia means international viewer can watch it.
