This show started off with meh cliffhangers and now it's just ADSAKJDLSAKJD!!!!! kinda cliffhangers.
I could only understand a little Korean so I'm wondering, does YS know now that he wasn't abandoned as previously told?

The scriptwriters are doing a great job the whole staff actually is doing a great job,i could not have asked for more. As for the ratings which are not bad, i still think CH deserves better ratings.
Totally agree! Think the scriptwriters did a great job of blending a political, revenge & love story together.
Although there are rooms for improvement, with so tight a timeline to film, the drama still turns out fantastic, in my opinion.
It's really a pity that the ratings are not as good.
But guess with most of the viewers in Korea being mommies and aunties, such a storyline doesn't quite appeal to them.
Seems to me CH is more popular to the viewers outside of Korea.

haha nice one. Well, I find Minyoung the type who doesnt have the spine to be so bold on onscreen kisses. This is actually the first time that she did an open kiss lol but i'd like to keep my hopes high! i think i'll be spamming Minyoung's twitter with "CAN YOU PLEASE KISS MINHO BACK? KTHNXBYE"
Totally agree with you! Believe this is the first time I've seen her with open kiss too but guess LMH was the one who is leading her....

I'm really surprised at the really fast pace in the change of role - Nana being YS's guardian angel.

I LOVED TODAY'S EPISODE!!!!! SOOOO MANY THINGS HAPPENED!
Not a boring minute at all (as goes with all the episodes in all honesty)....
But for me, today's episode beats all the previous 8 episodes!
I'm so happy I watched it live, or I wouldn't have been able to calm myself.
NANA FINALLY KNOWS ABOUT YS BEING THE CITY HUNTER! THANK YOU PD-NIM!!!!!!!!
And seriously I'm speechless, JP is one amazing evil man. I should hate him because he's sabotaging YS's relationship with Nana but I can't help but love his tactics! The man is everywhere! Gosh, he's just... AMAZING.
Today is definitely an exciting episode! So many things have happened in this episode.
JP is definitely is one evil man. Poor YS decided to leave Nana because JP reminded him that she could die because of him!
Guess Nana is still trying to come to terms with discovering that YS is CH and all the nasty things that he just said to her before leaving.
My head might have burst if I were her. Still waiting to see how she's gonna react when it finally sinks in that she was the one who shot YS.....

This episode was so great but I was shocked at the end of it. Nana shot YS.
That's just too much. No wonder they released spoilers about the sofa kiss to ease our mind. How can I wait a whole day for the next episode. The director really knows how to create cliffhangers.Yeah, I didn't see that coming too, until the last 5 mins of the show.
I gotta to applaud the scriptwriter for making the drama so exciting. Kudos!!
Moments between Nana & YS todayare very sweet as well.....

8 more episodes to go and after reading tiki_sg's synopsis of Episode 165 and the preview of 166, I'm kinda of guess the ending is going to sucks big time!!!
Preview 166 Translation:
OB told DH & MR directly that she'll be going for overseas studies with KC.
DH couldn't believe it and after thinking, called KC up and confirmed with him again.
KC told DH not to worry as he will take good care of OB.
Mr Choi met OB's dad to find out the about the details of the divorce proceedings between OB & DH and said that he thinks MR & DH will get married soon (yeah, I'll be cursing the PDs for the rest of the year if they end the drama with them being married).
On the other hand, MR who went to DH's house tried to get along (hang out) with the family members.
Grandma (as much as it may seems that I'm disrespctful, she is another character that I feel like slapping) persuades DH to start over again with MR.

It's been a while since I have watched the series, especially ince seeing show absurd and draggy the storyline has become.
But I still drop by here occassionally, hoping to catch some good news of DH & OB's relationship turning for the better.
Geez, I can't believe up till Episode 164 today, there are still misunderstandings created between DH & OB????!!!!!
OB has finally decided to go abroad to study, for the benefit of DN.
I totally lost faith that DH & OB will end up together in the end.
If they do, I wonder what kind of miracle the PD can perform since the drama is coming to an end?????
Sometimes, I just wish the PD will end everyone's misery and end the drama at the point when DH & OB divorced, since it seems they quite intended for them to do so by creating so many misunderstandings.
God, if not for KSE, I would have stop watching this months ago.
Everytime I watch this drama, I just feel like strangling and throttling MR!! How could she be allowed to come this far with all her evil plots???!!!

Here's the translation:
After finding out that DH & MR work in the same office, OB was extremely shocked! DH apologized for not telling OB the truth upon reaching home. However OB was not appeased. OB's dad overheard that DH and MR are working to together and wanted DH to quite. When Mom saw MG at Teacher's house, she become more suspicious of their relationship and went look for SJi after a long consideration.
Seems like DH is the public enemy Number 1 on almost every forum and everyone is calling out for OB to leave the Zhang family. Seems like he never learn, lying and apologising seems to be the only 2 things he've done best these days, which really erodes his character!
OB in this episode has finally able to link the events of DH cancelling the movie, the dinner that DH lied about having with his colleague as well the earring, something to do with MR and questioned DH about it (guess its about time). Seems like OB is really mad and cried a couple of times in this episode. Guess she'll likely leave the family upon learning DH has lied more to her and DN lied to her as well.
Keeping my fingers crossed for it to happen.

DH has told his parents that he would like DN and MR meet at least once a week!
Geez, I'm really kinda sick of seeing MR acting pitiful.
DH is damn bloody selfish too. Guess he felt bad about MR and wanted to make up to her.
But I think he failed to consider OB's position. If OB were the one who wanted to keep in touch with an old flame because of something that happened in the past, I bet he would definitely oppose to it!
Moreover being so good to someone (especially since its MR) who openly declared her feelings for you will only invite trouble. Stupid DH, arrrgh!!!
Now I really wish OB will find out really soon and choose to walk out of his life, given the awkward situation she'll be in.

More extension??? With the lack of sweet moments of OB-DH (or the lukewarm relationship between them) for the longest time ever, I kinda of dread seeing the drama being extended. In addition, it kinda of seems the episodes are rather draggy and pretty directionless-we have seen nothing but interaction between MG & Teacher, their relationship waiting to be discovered by Mom and interaction between MR & DH, their relationship waiting to be discovered by OB. Now I just hope all these discoveries will happen right now right then, so that the drama will not continue to be a drag!! The only thing that seems to be progressing is MS & SJun. Though I used to hate watching them in the past, but I'm so glad that things are going well for them. Their relationship is the only bright spot in the drama, to me at least.
Even though I really hope OB will get to see MR hugging DH in tomorrow's episode, but seriously I doubt it'll happen, especially given the episodes will be extended. Likely she'll be called by DH's friend as she's about to open the door and DH will push MR away when he hears OB's name. OB will continue to suspect DH's relationship with MR and MR will continue to create evidences that there is something b/w DH and her. Though DH hasn't really been unfaithful in the past episodes but he hasn't exactly been the best of husbands as I thought he would be (or the PD failed to make him appear a very sweet and good husband) given the difficult obstacles they had to overcome to be married. Worst of all, he continues to lie and hide things from OB time after time. Thus I really hope that OB will discover that he has been lying and choose to leave him. Think its about time he should learn a really hard lesson though I pity him that he has to be the object of MR's manipulative ways (she's totally incorrigible!).

Thanks tiki_sg for the efficient posting of the recaps!!! I'm already planning to skip watching this week's episodes and rely on your recaps, knowing well what the PD plans to do and its simply too painful to watch especially with all the focus on DH-MR.
Oh my my..DH is starting to flares up at OB???? Seems to me his heart and mind is getting all topsy turvey and messed up!!!
It will be impossible for DH to remove MR from his life because she is his son's mother. There will be a lifetime bond between them.
Graduations, weddings, grandchildren, etc. This is why it is a difficult situation for OB and I think despite his protests, DH still has feelings in his heart for MR. She, after all, was his first love and the mother of his first child. How he handles these feelings will be critical to the success of his marriage with OB. True, its understandable that its hard for DH to remove MR from his life, with her being DN's mom and especially now that he started to realize that there was a huge misunderstanding between them. Seems to me that he's started to have feelings for MR, with her and her father's tactics, especially now that he's even started to flare up at OB for no reason???
Then again I thought after DH has seen how manipulative MR was previously, especially when she kept pestering DH and OB in the past, I would have think its stupid of him to have feelings for her, even with her the misunderstanding between them. Well, maybe I'm a bit naive here but......*shake head*...
Anyway, I'm hoping that OB will realize what's happening.
I guess she would likely take some drastic actions (such as asking for a divorce or leaving the family) when she does as she probably has had enough of DH's lying or keeping things from her, given that he already promised her umpteen times that he won't ever lie or keep things from her. Honestly I hope she does sometime drastic, its about time DH learns his lesson!!!
I wouldn't even mind if she decides that she should give up DH and DN to MR if she believes that this the only way to makes things easy and right for everyone.
Then I can only say its DH's and the family's loss.

Our worst ever nightmare is coming true!!!! Sure looks like a betrayal to me.
But then again, most of us would have guessed this would happen eventually one way or the other.....
We all know that DH has put himself into a dilemma again.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see how PD going to let the story runs...
As mentioned, its really hard to reach a win-win situation for all.
If DH does not want to lose DN and at the same time for DN to get to know MR (after he realized it was misunderstanding between MR and him), the only way is for him to be with MR again, which I won't be surprised if it happens, looking at the time they are spending together (too much of DH-MR moments now!!) and him softening his attitude towards and even his friend wonders if DH and MR will be back together as in the past.
Even if this doesn't happen, OB will definitely find out about 3 of them spending time together.
If that happens,DH will have to explain to OB that he had misunderstood MR in the past and will like to make it up to her by letting DN spend time with her. OB might understand it in the beginning (since she's a compassionate person) but not sure if she might tolerate it or maybe she might come to the conclusion that it'll be good for DN and DH that she leaves.
As much as it tears my heart to see it happening and poor OB suffering after sacrificing so much for the family, guess I still gonna stay around to see what the PD has in store for her.

I managed to catch the last 5 min of the show today and I already want to throw rotten (and smelly)tomatoes at MR!! She is such a manipulative & scheming woman!! Poor DH (not to mention poor OB as well), their life will soon be a living hell!1

I have the rare opportunity to catch Epi 113 live today and I had to admit my worst nightmares are coming true!
Though I have yet to catch Epi 111 & 112 and despite my poor understanding of Korean, I can see the vicious Dad-Daughter team executing their evil plot of getting DH and DN back to their life. MR told her dad that she wants to get closer to DH as soon as possible. Thus her dad immediately arranged for them to go on a business trip together (If I have inteepreted correctly). Even though DH tried to find excuses not to go together with MR, he wasn't able to convince him. I wish I could slap the smirky smile off MR's face when DH had no choice but to go with her!!
As much as DH tried to refused her advances in this episode, he failed miserably in the end. (Arrgh DH, are you man or not??!!). I seriously think that his defences will fall apart soon.
I can only imagine the amount of angst and pain that OB has to go through with the amount of effort that the evil Daughter-Dad is putting to get DH back.I do sometimes harbor the thought that maybe it'll be good for OB to leave DH....Am wondering if I should stay away from the drama for a while, knowing what will be coming ahead...*weep, weep*

As for MR wanting DH back, I personally think MR no longer has any desire to get DH back now. I think she has come to terms with the fact that DH is no longer hers and acknowledges/accepts it willingly. However, her only wish now is to get DN back into her life full-time at all costs, having DN know that she is his real mom - both biologically and acknowledging her as the one, instead of OB. She has lost DH to OB already and she is, as sure as hell, not willing to lose DN, her flesh & blood and only offspring, to OB again.
Hmmm, after watching Episode 109, I begged to differ. I believe MR wants not only DN back in her life, she also wants DH as well, especially since she told her dad that she wished she could turn back time and find her happiness in the past as well as when her dad asked her "Wasn't DN the only one person she wanted back?", she kept her silence. Given that DH is set to go to her company to work, I believe she will definitely try to create many misunderstandings between DH and OB..and more angst to come I believe (arrh, my poor heart!)

Orh oh...it seemsto me that the PDSs are leading the audience to think that maybe it'll be better for DH to be back with MR so that all 3 of them can be reunited as a family.
Honestly, as much as I hate to admit, it really make sense since its the only way for MR & DH and their families will get to have DN in their lives. In addition, I believe the only option is for DH to work for MR's dad.
I wonder what happened if OB really choose to divorce????
From an DH's interview translated in Baidu, Jin Yi Han mentioned that it be another 2 more months of filming for the drama, which will mean the drama will probably be 150 episodes. He also mentioned he is prepared for more scolding from the audience as he'll be doing things that will make OB more tired...Hmm...I wonder what it was-maybe his constant meeting with MR after realizing he has wronged her????

MS entered the house in time to stop IQ from swallowing the pills and SJun was extremely grateful to her. MG tried hard to block the loan sharks who came to the kindergarden for their money but felt hurt whne Teacher told him not to interfere with matters concerning her. MR managed to evade OB's eyes and continued to find DN and bring him out. OB and DH were suspicious of the games/toys that DN carried. When they asked him, he said he borrowed them from a friend.
Glad to see there are so much discussion over the plot of drama. It's a pity that I can't contribute much as I have been skipping to many parts in between episodes. Hope this "heated" discussion will continue.

Oh really???!! I'm glad that I can continue to see KSE and as well as HanBok couple but it seems that the love b/w them has died off completely. With little sweet scenes between them nowadays, it seems like my passion to continue to watch the drama has started to wither, though I'm trying real hard to keep up with the episodes. Pray that PDs better come up with more more interesting plots or create more love for HanBok couple otherwise I dunno I will last till episodes 179.

I'd really hope so. Somehow one doesn't get the feeling that OB treasured DH's feelings or emotions especially in Episode 103 when OB told KC that she had to return home because of DN and that she missed him so much (no mention of DH here). It's true that DH has lied to her but it was white lie and DH had explained to her why he lied to her. In addition, my understanding of love is that even though how much someone may hurt or anger you, you'll still miss the person after being away from him/her, especially in this case when HanBok is a newly married couple. But there has been no mention of OB missing DH. When I compare OB's feelings towards DH before and after the wedding, I can sense a great disparity.

It seems to me that DN is slowly beginning to like MR, which child won't be if someone keeps showering him/her with toys and good food????!!
Being unable to conceive and away from her child for 7 years, its pretty understandable why MR behaves the way she is now.
My guess, eventually a compromise will be reached b/w Hanbok and MR as to how DN will get to spend his time with.

OB turned and walked away after firmly telling MR that she couldn't hand DN over to her. Everyone in the family was happy to see OB when she returned but OB couldn't forgive & forget her disappointment in DH. Upon hearing the news of Well-Being, RX (SJun's dad) returned home but was subjected to IQ's scoldings and chased out of the house. Though I admit the plot is getting slightly more interesting with the DN's issue and the Well-Being getting into trouble, being a DH-OB's supporter, I don't like the direction it is heading. DH-OB seems to me like a couple who been married for years (even though they've been married in the show less than 2 months) with little love left and it seems DN matters more to her than DH.

Wow this is my first post. I've been lurking here to get ahead of the story. I am actually way behind since the last episode I saw that is subbed in English is Episode 30. Although I cannot understand Korean, this thread helps a lot. I just finished watching the raw Episode 89. I am still rooting for the HanBok couple. They really have great chemistry on screen. I wish there will be more scenes with them in it as well as DN now that he has introduced Oh Bok as his eomma to his school mates. Tee hee. I loved the way Oh Bok "man-handled" Dae Han when he tried to escape from her interrogation. LOL. He did not realize hat he can be overpowered by a wee wife named Oh Bok.Haha, hope it will not be your last too. HanBok couple does indeed have fabulous chemistry onscreen!
I found it cute that DH had sub-consciously forgotten that OB was no longer working at the office, when he was getting status reports from his team members. Followed by their cute text-messaging exchange. DH has now given OB a new nickname . . "sek-shi" (sexy) and messages her asking her what she is doing and that he misses her . . to which OB replied and ended the message with a virtual bo-bo (kiss).Yup! I find that scene extremely endearing too!
From the preview, seems like OB is going to have a difficult time facing DH and his family because her dad.
My guess is that OB seems likely to go for a divorce eventually, given the enormous trouble that OB's dad will be causing and the fact that MR will likely fight for custody of DN once she found out the truth. OB being the kind-hearted gal, may rather DH and the family still have DN (with the only option of MR getting together again with DH) and choose to leave.
Hope the PD will come up with something which is not what I've expected...

Just watched Episode 88, it sure breaks my heart to see OB cried over her resignation.
I hate to see her not working.

Yup, I get what you mean. The show kinda of surprises me at every episode because things turned out to be different from what I expected and truths are revealed a bit way too fast (such as Nana finding out who CH and Long Leg Uncle are) and YS knowing who his mom is and that he was being snatched at birth, so much so that it seems to me the show might just end at episode 16.
I wonder what else they could show to keep the cliffhangers, action, romance and suspense going for the next 8 episodes, though the issue with the President being one of them will proably take up quite a few episodes.
