@chingulinka, you're correct. "Childless Comfort" is nothing like SLA and it is a family drama. However, it has multiple adult oriented themes, eg., the realistic choices available to couples who are at different stages in their lives and have found themselves to be emotionally incompatible; the plight of the single mother who wants to maintain a professional career, etc. The themes are serious, as are the characters. Nobody is a buffoon. Although some of the relationships appear exaggerated to this westerner's eyes, (eg., father-sons), that may not be so in a Confucian oriented society. The first two episodes of Grapevine were entertaining but I wonder about future development. Thirty-two episodes seem like way too much by more than half to sustain the thin premise. Furthermore, some of the supporting roles are a bit cartoonish. For SLA followers who enjoy adult themed drama, I call your attention to the 2012-13 cable drama, "Childless Comfort". Telzey, Right On!! Misaeng is one helluva superior dramatic series. Very different from SLA but also very absorbing. -
PS: To ease the pain of withdrawal, try "The City Hall", "Surgeon Bong Dal Hee" and "Life is Beautiful" (all 60 episodes).

I've been following you gals and guy now for some time and you all deserve SEVERE PUNISHMENT for messing up Soompi's stats and following KHA around Europe like a bunch of overwrought fannies (elderspeak for fangirls). Oh well, I've succumbed to the mania and this is my small contribution toward the end goal:}}

Having viewed the last quarter of Ep 16 a second time, and this last viewing with Viki subs, I concluded that the actors, writer and director brought the drama to a fitting and satisfying end. It became clear to me that HW had received a sentence of 1 to 1-1/2 years and that she was at peace with her decision to repent and accept the punishment for her misdeeds; that SJ was immensely proud of what she said in the courtroom and he intended to wait for her and start their life together when she finished her sentence. The acting was phenomenal throughout the drama with SJ being the standout. However, the last episode belonged to HW and she carried it beautifully. I can't imagine the drama being as successful as it was had two other actors played these roles. The comments of the contributors to this forum with their recollections of dialogue from previous episodes helped me appreciate how the characters were being developed over the arc of the drama. Special thanks to seungshinl for the youtube cite to the Pogorelich-Alicia interview. That brought home the concrete reality of a lasting and strong sexual and emotional relationship between a man and woman who had more than a 20 year age gap.

'I've tried 2 dramas on MVIBO and found that the subtitles were in Engrish. Some of the "translated" lines were incomprehensible. It was frustrating to actually pay money for garbage.

Auntie Mame, the site has been tweaked a bit but, be assured, it's still there. When you get to the subtitle index page, look at the black menu bar near the top. You'll see that the "sort by" default has been set to "latest". Click the pull down menu and select "alphabet". At that point, "A Wife's Credentials" should appear.

We are way overdue for this romcom. We haven't had a Korean series as enjoyable, quirky and funny as this in a long time. I'm looking forward to the inevitable romantic development and I expect the ride to be as good as the first four episodes. I also expect SH's hair style to undergo a renaissance.
