For now, I think we just need to calm down and see what happens in the next couple of months. Give Jay and the members a break.
I think JYP/JYPE is testing the waters here. The statement didn't say Jay's contract with JYPE is terminated and when JYP said if Jay ready to returns, he will help - again he did not state explicitly whether it is to return to 2PM or not. The company will just see how the fans' reception to the 6 member 2PM and decide on the strategy. They may temporarily hold off assigning a leader. I don't think all bands in Korea has a leader?? (not sure about that). If after 6 months or so, fans cool down about Jay, it will just continue as a 6 member band. However if fans still haven't forget about Jay, they may think differently.
Hottest should try to stay united and we should support the 6 member 2PM. I think that's what Jay wants. He would want his fellow brothers to succeed even he is no longer part of it. When the 6 member 2PM is going to perform again, let's still include Jay in the chants. We will still show that we remember Jay and ready to welcome him back when he is ready.
Regardless, I wish Jay the very best. If he feels that Korea is not for him, I wish him success in his further education in Seatlle.

I think the banner itself is good enough. Even if there is left over money, can either buy Jay something like dried mangoes but definitely NOT expensive stuff like laptop, ipod or keyboard. I think donating to charity under Jay's name is the best choice.
A lot of other fan club has donated in their idol's name to support different charities. I think Jay would be more appreciative of this instead. We don't know him to be in another scandal like getting expensive gift for plans. Since Korean hotties are donating blood, doing voluntary work, International Hotties can mirror the action and donate to charity instead.

I don't know what to say but I have a bad feeling that it will be a miracle if Jay is going to be back with 2PM.
First of all, I don't think it is a PR thing that JYPE have Jay said he was quitting and then he was being back due to the plea of fans or change of minds of netizens. It was a really big gamble as there was no way to tell which way the tide will turn. I don't think JYPE will risk something like this.
Second, I agree with a few folks here that the new member thing is a test of water by JYPE and probably a "message" sent to the fans that well either you get a 6 member 2PM band or we will throw another member in. I think their strategy is to hope fans will accept a 6 member band and stop the boycott. When given the choice of a 6 member band or a new member to join 2PM, they are betting that fans probably more readily embrace the existing members.
Also Jay's friend mentioned before that the situation doesn't allow Jay to be back. Is he referring to the criticism of netizens or the "deal" that JYPE made with him to release Jay so that he doesn't have to pay financial penalty. It is not uncommon for big companies to sign a termination clause with the staff and the clause may include condition that certain things cannot be disclosed to be public or otherwise the staff may be legally liable. So for us to say Jay did not come out to clarify things, it may be he is not in a position to say anything. Jay is just an upstarting artist. He is not in any position to bargain or negotiate with JYPE.
His earlier comments where someone posted that he said he is not Park Jaeboem but Jay Park may also be an indication that he may not be back to Korea. Not necessarily in the negative context that some will afraid that netizens may harp on it again but probably he is referring to the fact that he is not the Park Jaeboem of Korean band 2PM but rather he is Jay Park, just a normal adult in Seattle. If he decides to pursue further education, I wish him the best of luck and I think it is also beneficial to have more education these days.
I am hoping for the best but also bracing for the worst.
I guess once the MV started shooting, we probably will hear something more definite by then.

Looked like individual member activity will be impacted. But at least I think right now all 2PM members need a break and see what JYPE decides to do with the situation.

This doesn't seem to die down. We are now past 1000+ page.
I think we just have to wait and see what comes out of it. Eventually JYPE has to make a decision on the future of 2PM and we will know if 2AM has cancelled their activities as indicated which may lead to the possibility of a unified band.
We just need to be patient and rational for now.
But I am glad that Jay is away from all this madness. As long as Jay is happy, that's what it matters. Of course I want the other 6 members to be fine as well, especially Woo Young. He seemed to be very close to Jay and I think he will miss him a lot.

I hope if the full length album is finished, maybe they will still release it? It will be a waste if they just throw it out and start from scratch. It probably likely considering now Jay quitted 2PM and most likely the album cover or design not even in place.

It is hard to say if the article is 100% accurate account of the affairs. But I do think personally there is a very high probability of it being true.
First, scandal happened in entertainment business before but this one just happened too quickly. Jay quitted in 4 days. Something not right there. The logical thing is for Jay and 2PM to lay low for a while and wait and see if the thing died down. There is simply no waiting period.
I think we will know later on once the current status of Jay's contract with JYPE is revealed to us. Because if Jay wants to quit and if he signed a 7 year contract (as some stated earlier), he has to pay a financial penalty for breaking the contract. JYPE is a business. I don't think they are not going to make Jay pay. The possible scenario where Jay is not financially liable is JYPE mutually break the contract with Jay. That means JYPE considered Jay became a liability to them and it is better if he leaves.
I guess we just have to let it play out and see what happens.

I am very glad we finally heard from JYP. To be honest, I don't expect JYP will make a definite announcement about the future of Jay or 2PM at this point. Jay just been home a day and I think we all need to give Jay some time to think and decide. He needs time to regroup himself and I think regardless of what he decides, if we really love & support him like JYP said, we should support his decision and wish him the best. He is very talented and I think he doesn't necessarily need to return to Korea to be successful.
Jay loves the other 6 members so much and I think we should still support 2PM. I know it will not be the same without Jay since for me, my favourite is Jay. But I think the last thing Jay wants is for us to abandon 2PM just because he is not there anymore.
I think what we should give Jay is support messages to show our love & support but not put any pressure on him to return to the Kpop scene. He needs some time to heal this wound.

I read someone mentioned that they are waiting for Friday to have an update. I don't think I see anything official that there will be a news release this Friday right? Am I missing something?
I hope they will still show Jay's performance last weekend although it will hurt to see his last stage performance (hopefully just for a while). I really want to see the last Episode of Wild Bunny in the future but I really like they stop showing it ouf ot respect for Jay and current situation. The write up is really touching from Wild Bunny staff. It may be more fitting to show it when Jay is back.
Let's keep our faith that he will be back some day.

I doubt JYP will do something like that. Because telling people Jay is leaving 2PM and in reality just taking a break is going to back fire more than for him just to fly back to US and keep a low profile for a while.
I think when Jay said goodbye and quitting 2PM, he is honest about it.

Yeah...Well Wiki is open for editing anyway. So whoever can go in and update it.
I saw Junho is now listed as leader in the wiki as well. However I don't see any updates confirming this.
It just hurts to see the Wiki. I wonder how true is that Junho is the leader. I kind of disbelieve that a new leader is chosen so quickly.
I hope the other members of 2PM are doing okay especially Wooyoung. He seemed to be the one closest to Jay.
I don't want to dampen anyone hopes but Jay of course just can carry knapsack or light luggage on board. I bet the rest of the luggage are checked in. Moreover due to the rush, most of his stuff will probably be shipped to him later on.
Do you know that Jaebeom is already edited under former members in wiki? Jaebeom fighting! We all love you. Fighting!

Seeing all the news & photos at the airport is so sad especially Jay looked so down and miserable.
For Jay to go back to school is a good idea, education is important and he is still young, who knows what opportunities it may open up for him. Being an idol singer to be honest won't be a lifetime career. Maybe this will be good for Jay in the long run.
I am glad that he is back to where his family and friends will be. At least back in Seattle he can go back to be a normal guy and not under the media's microscope.
I am hoping we can still send our love & support to him so that he will at least have know that there are fans still love and care about him.

Although I like to believe this is temporary, I think this is probably a permanent thing. Otherwise Jay would not write this kind of message in the cafe.
I want him to make a comeback but honestly the chance of this is really slim.
2PM will not be the same without him.
I don't know if I can listen to their new album knowing that Jay is not there. I guess the netizens must now be happy that they win.

Well at least he will be home and then decides what he wants to do in future.
He may end up decide not to return to Korea anymore.
This is so sad but at least he can go home where his family will give him all the love & support he needs.

I am really disappointed with JYP and JYPE. They should be doing better crisis management than to have Jay bowed out of 2PM due to pressure from netizens. The incident broke out a few days ago and I still think they can take the chill out and wait route instead of having Jay to bow out so quickly.
This is just plain unfair to Jay.
I can't believe JYP would even allow him to leave the group.I seriously cannot imagine 2PM without Jay. It just feels wrong.

I think a lot of thoughts have been taken before Jay posted this decision on the cafe. Of course this doesn't mean that Jay quit out of his own free will. JYPE may have a talk with him and said this is probably the best for him, 2PM and JYPE as a whole.
I don't know what will happen to Jay now but I pray that he can persevere through this ordeal.
I don't know what to say because this has snowballed so quickly that I am at a loss for words now.

This is such sad news. I cannot believe it will come down to this. 2PM will never be the same.
I feel so heart broken for Jay. All these years of hardwork now comes to nothing.
I guess he probably will go back to home to US.

I really hate Chul-Soo. Throughout the novel publishing scandal, he only cares about CJ and So-Ri. How about YH and HB? It seemed like they are forgotten. He never thought of calling YH and YH is the one who calls him up.
Chul-Soo's mother is also selfish. All she cares is HB who is the son of CS....Gee...I hope this mess will sort out soon.
I am tempted to give up because each time I see Chul-Soo, I am really frustrated that he caused such a mess and he doesn't know how to handle difficult situation well. I hope we can see the exit of HR soon as well. This woman is evil - using all the schemes to get JH.
