i'm loving this new teaser picture. reading about the description of twinkle makes me really excited to hear the song. i wasn't sure what to think before, but i'm looking forward to this trio.

Well, the TaeNyHyun subunit is no longer rumor. Not really sure what to make of the pic. Its just really out there from what you would expect from SNSD or anything SM. I think I need to see the MV and song before I know what to think.
I don't particularly like the picture. It's kind of giving me an orange caramel feel, but we should know by now that we should never assume an SM released picture will be related to any part of the title song or actual concept. I'm glad we're getting some SNSD fix at least. I really hope the song shows off their vocal power.

Been a fan since '05, but I haven't been in this thread since forever ago. I just wanted to drop by and say that I love their new album! It's so worth getting. I'm loving Hurt and On the Road atm. They managed to mix their original style into all of the songs so well while still being able to sound modern. It's no mistake it's Shinhwa when there's distinct voices like these guys have. When I hear parts of the news songs where there's rapping and singing at the same time, I think of I Pray 4 U and how they did that a lot with their old songs. The rapping parts seem to be inserted into certain sections of the song similar to how it was back then, too.
It really makes me happy that Shinhwa is back. They gave me a lot of laughs back then especially on XMan and they still do now with their new show. I hope their comeback will be successful, and they can show the new generation of idols how it should be done!

More clips from the MV. I'm really liking how it's shot and how each girl gets a different location. All of them look so gorgeous.

^I wouldn't worry too much about it. No matter what the girls do, there will always be a group of people hating on them. Just ignore it, and support the girls. We've seen that even at the height of the AntiSNSD movement, the girls pulled through and got even more successful.

I think their chemistry is getting better at least from last week. Last week's was hard to watch cause of the the overbearing cuteness that came from TaeYeon, but she seems to have gotten a little more control over it this time. I still miss the YulTi combo though.

You can see the girls arriving to the show and waiting to leave after the show. They look super happy waving to the fans, and they even take it upon themselves to get closer to the fans. Tiffany even says thank you to them. Seriously, can these girls get any sweeter? No wonder fans fall so hard for them. You think you love them enough, and then, they go and make you love them even more. These girls have such kind hearts on top of their beautiful looks.
I'm glad the fans in London were able to come out and show some love to the girls.

SeoHyun, Tiffany, and Yoona look gorgeous at the fashion show!! Tiffany and Yoona must be freezing though. I never liked the straight bangs look on Tiffany so I'm glad that's gone for now, and her hair color takes some getting used to. I think I like it.

as far as i can tell, they are two different people. Oniontaker has mentioned silis a few times here and there.
overall, i think the girl's short venture to NY was extremely successful. they brought everything they had and showed two awesome live performances. it just sucks that SM/Interscope seemed to underestimate the fans' power and had to turn over 700 people away meeting the girls at the fansign. the next show i want them to perform on is Ellen. that'll give them exposure to the younger audiences, and with Ellen's personality, i think they'll have plenty of fun there.

I agree. I think they've been running on empty for a while now. I remember watching some interviews during the comeback and SMTown NYC, and several of the girls expressed that they just wanted to sleep more than anything else. I was already worried at that time because it's super rare to hear any of the girls besides Jessica mention that. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like SME has learned from past mistakes and is super overworking the girls. I'm sure giving them a month break won't affect their popularity much, but we all know the company won't do that. At this point, I'm just hoping they're given at least a full week of no schedules, which is not likely to happen either. The last two weeks of this year is going to be hectic for them, too. With all the Gayo DaeJuns and the Japan activities, I'm positive that when the girls are not filming for something or doing some random performance, they'll be practicing routines for the year end special performances. I'm afraid that we might hear news of exhaustion and hospital admittances soon.

i didn't know what to expect with Diamond. i usually don't like holiday sounding songs, but i am loving this one. i'm glad it's upbeat, and it really showcases their vocal skills. it's great that a lot of the girls got a chance to hit some of the higher notes instead of just the usual. the fact that the song is in English is a plus for me, and the lyrics make complete sense. Kenzie did great with this song!

i'm kind of sad the girls are ending promotions already. although i'm sure SM is working them hard behind the scenes, i hope they get a little bit of a break.

watching this makes me so proud of her. she's come so far in her singing ability, and the confidence she exudes on stage is great. with all of her hard work, i believe she is capable of doing so much more than what people think. i just hope all of her schedules don't exhaust her too much.

seeing Tiffany sing this part really makes me miss her singing voice. the performances since their comeback have been great, but they always feel a little empty to me because we don't get to hear her sing.
poor Jessica in this video. she looks really sick. all of the girls need at least a day's worth of rest. their schedule has been so exhausting. they need a sleep in day more than anything. i don't remember them wishing to sleep so much in the past. the fact that they keep on mentioning it now makes me extremely worried for them.

the girls made it onto E! News just now!!! it was during the top 5 youtube videos countdown for the week. they came in third after LMFAO and Justin Beiber. they usually reshow this broadcast at night and during the next morning in the U.S. at least if anybody wants to try to catch it. it was around 38 or 39 minutes into the show. they gave a little description of the girls, too.

did anyone notice that the girls' comeback performance on music bank is taking up three spots in the music section of the youtube homepage right now?
i don't know how to cap it, but it's kinda cool. i don't think that's ever happened for an artist before.

the girls did great with the boys performance! everything was on point, from the outfit and hair to the live singing. they sounded so good. i know as a fan i shouldn't be surprised, but it always makes me proud to see how good they can be. they struggled through Mr. Taxi a little bit, but that's understandable since they had to record the performances so many times. i wish the camera work was better, too.
i'm still not totally in love with the title track, but it's ok. they're trying out something new. i am glad they're coming out with a stronger image. they're just constantly evolving bit by bit.

like some people, i have mixed feeling about the title track. i absolutely loved it until the chorus. it was just anti-climatic. it sounded off to me like the rap didn't belong there. if they kept it in the breakdown part and the end and put some real singing in the chorus, i think i would've liked it better. plus, more of the girls would've had real singing parts. i'm totally disappointed that Tiffany didn't get any singing parts. it's great that she's showing versatility with the rapping, but i wish she was able to showcase her voice because she has a great voice that i don't think has been highlighted in any of their title tracks. for the first time, i'm underwhelmed by one of their songs. i still hope it does well because i want the girls to do well. who knows? maybe it'll grow on me.
the album on the other hand i think is surprising in a good way. they finally get to show off their ability to sing different styles of music and show their powerful vocals. trick is for sure my favorite off of the whole album. i think it would've made a great title track.

^ the song sounds really calming. i wonder if they are gonna change the arrangement any.
with all the snippets of details coming out in past few days, their comeback is finally starting to build back up, but nothing crazy yet. since the break from the original set of teasers, this feels like the calm before the storm. i'm sure after the release of the teaser tomorrow, things will start getting crazy. about a half a day left until the official mv teaser comes out! i hope it's different from the one shown in Japan.

all of the girls look gorgeous in this teaser. Sunny looks cute with long hair, but she looks absolutely fierce with the short do. she pulls it off so well. i hope SM would stop being so secretive soon and fill us in on what's to come. the suspense has been dragged out way too long. no matter what though, i'm sure the girls will have a great comeback!!
