Daniel and Ki Joon appeared together in The World We Live in w/ Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyu.. They two guys were great there, if any of you have a chance, both actors were quite believable in their roles.
As for now, though SJS is portraying the lead--I still see Daniel in the role...

Thanks for the latest updates!!! My heart is healing from the news that our dimple couple are back (but not anticipating his enlistment that is looming close... sob! sob!!!). Can't wait for upcoming epis.. I don't think these two will be awkward, Teuk will definitely make Sora comfortable and the Fighting Juniors are close by.. Now, will there be more Donghai Eunseo parts?
I truly could not believe that WGM was getting cancelled, truly, truly broke my heart... I mean MBC has had hits with this show, luckily it's back!!!
... Just ignore the haters, don't waste your time with them, they help bring views, publicity to those the hate... God bless them and us all.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I started watching we got married just last month starting with the khuntoria couple. I have not seen the other couples actually just the khuntoria couple. Then i started watching the teukso couple just for the heck of it since i finished watching the khuntoria couple. After episode 1 of the teukso couple/dimple couple, I was completely hooked! You won't regret being a part of WGM fanship, it's fun, funny, thrilling, enjoyable, though quite sad when the couples you are fond of leave the show... My addiction to this show started because of Leeteuk-(dimples couple) and Eunhyuk's babysitting stint with Alex (Alshin couple from the first season of WGM--around ep 29-30).. that's one of the most hilarious things these two have ever done, my niece who was 2yrs old watched it with me and was mesmerized by these 2 crazy Super Junior members... That little part led me to the humongous world of We Got Married. My initial bias was the Lettuce-Sancho couple Hwangbo and Kim Hyun Jung, the elder female and younger male couple... and the many couples in between... I became totally addicted and involved, being a part of the western culture that is exposed to "modern" skinship, it's rare to be able to see old fashioned relationship behavior.. My interest dwindled until the Goguma couple-SNSD's Seohyun and CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa as well as the Khuntoria couple... It easy to get caught up in the show and the relationshiops of the different couple that we become attached to.. The development of the different couples from the initial awe and the gradual attachments are interesting to watch. I became totally addicted--I mean how could you not become attached and just walk away after being "involved" for over a year? Hope you enjoy the Dimples couple, I am.. Like you I am truly liking them. Teuk seems behaved enough and such a crack up!! Daring, so hopefully they too will enjoy their stint on this show... Leeteuk sure is a busy man, hope he gets enough rest or better yet gets energized from being in this show... Oh yeah, I love how the younger SUJU members are rooting for them... 'can't wait for the housewarming party. 'hope it's similar to the Kang In couple housewarming, well, better behaved.... That's one to anticipate!!! Again, enjoy!!!

@dsiauw...The DVD will be on sale on YesAsia on Nov 1, 2011... I still miss this drama.. As for the evil HYK--who doesn't care who she destroys, she had to do her best to destroy her ex BFF. If all were revealed, the tapes that destroyed her mother, the discarded daughter with the false info on the birth certificate--the director's future would be obliterated!!! Enjoy the last half...there's still so much to see pain, tears, what the hecks, omgs and happiness---it's worth it!!!

i wonder if YK did not do those evil things in the begining who would have YJ choose between YK and JE...

I'm happy and truly satisfied with the ending, it's tough to watch without subtitles but thanks creidesca and all the kindhearted TB fans who shared their talents--translations, gifts with all of us TB fans... In death YK would not have had to redeem herself. JE, YJ and HB as well as everyone else would have been tormented with guilt thoughout their life because there would have be no true healing of all the wounds that YK gave to everyone...
...if YK had not done those evil things, YJ would definitely have ended with JE--there would be no TB... And maybe YK would have ended up with kindhearted-white knight KW just like the family chart of this drama. Since childhood it was YJ and JE who were drawn to each other. In adulthood without truly knowing YJ was still drawn to JE then YK tempted YJ. YK intimated JE into thinking she-JE was not fit to be with YJ... Remember when KW revealed to YJ who JE was, YJ sought JE. YJ always had a huge smile when he thought of JE until the video reveal..... And even in his drunken anger about the video, YJ asked KW to call out the Kiddo-JE to make him-YJ laugh and smile...
..JE stated that YK was an Angel as a child to MJ-LAE, redemption finally of YK and her leaving to join her step family in New Zealnd is another healing-closure for her... Of course the true Angel is JE-she who quietly accepted all the hurt, supported everyone and kept this family together... YEY, finally done after being in tinterhooks all night as to who would be together in the end.... Even if YK decided to stay in ROK, JE was much stronger less insecure and YJ was no doubt more in love with JE. YJ would always show how strong his love for JE and HB.

Okay, 1 of the news articles regarding today's EP states that what YK has is: autoimmune hepatitis. More on the disease can be found HERE. So I heard "bilirubin" correctly. And from wiki, this disease affects more women than it does men.

Autoimmune conditions are hard to treat, conditions may be incurable and treated depending on the signs and symptoms exhibited by each individual.... Luckily it wasn't HB, good luck to YK. JE will definitely allow the birth mother-YK and HB-child relationship to flourish as the clock ticks away. JE will encourage JY to allow YK time with HB... JE would never prevent HB from spending time with YK. JE as the mother figure and nurturer for everyone will encourage YK be accepted and treated like a family member. JD is another story, this drama would never end if we continue, he's just as bad or worse than YK.. Will they bring each other down? After the dust settles I hope the everyone recovers to continue with live... One thing that is a given that YK's evil deeds will be overlooked and forgiven, what else, that's why we're addicted to Kdramas----redemption, forgiveness, acceptance, love.... Thanks creidesca.... Heeji, and all.... Lookin forward to a simply acceptable ending for our beloved Thorn Birds..

... for everyone to go on and face the mature HB, all have to learn to live with YK, since for some it may not be easy to forgive her, the person to guide everyone will have to be JE. JE alone who has known YK since childhood, YK--whom JE described as an Angel on one conversation with MJ, JE whose emotions are in great turmoil has to supress all her insecurities and fears and not just guide the rest but YK herself to learn how the adults have to treat HB. YK has to face up to all the consequences of all her deeds (mostly evil). Let's face it, YJ will always have ties to YK but it's not love anymore but as the mother of HB. YK owes it not just to HB and JE most of all, but also to everyone not to continue her selfishness.
JE has her acting career to look forward to, with the guidance of KW as well as bossman YJ. This in itself would make JE stronger and self confident in nurturing both YJ and HB. In turn, YJ and YB's love will lessen the insecurities-fears and doubts JE has. It's funny that if you look back in the story, YK so hates JE because JE alone knows the real YK. YK is real only when she is with JE. Remember the end ep 12, even if YK hates JE, she calls JE to come. After their talk YK in her drunken sleep would not let go of JE's hand. Only with JE does YK show her vulnerable side, the hurt YK... because with others, YK only shows the strong and agressive, vengeful side. And then maybe in hindsite, YK also knew that if she left behind her child and hurt mother to JE, JE would care for them. In addition, maybe YK had it somewhere in her mind that with JE, YK could take it all back because JE is so easy to manipulate... As for legalities of who truly is the legal mother, I would hope everythin is taken into consideration as to motives and what truly benefits the child, HB... with a happy ending for all... no wishing evil on YK (though she truly deserves it) that it is something that the child HB can accept... I truly hope that YK doesn't die too soon and is able to redeem herself. It would be a great achievement on YK's part to be able to spend time as the changed mother and let HB face the world proud and unashamed of JE, YJ, MJ and of course YK.
I'm praying to the electronics God that in these two coming mornings your microwave doesn't disrupt the last 2 episodes.

saw this drama was hoping for good ratings. It has HHJ and JSW, who are good actor and actress.
JSW role in "Giant" earns many applause. This is his first time as first lead and was hoping he can excel. He is not young and only beginning to get a little bit of popularity.
HHJ is my favourite after watching "be strong guem soon" and "jumong". She is excellent at portraying strong character.
However, the rating for the drama suck. I guess it is not the fault of actor/actress but the story. It is a melodrama and audience would not really like it. Hopefully this will not affect JSW career path. I hope HHJ would do better next time because she is really great.
People are complaining and pushing the low rating to the second actress playing YK. Many audience hate her thick lip and big eye. But I think this is too personal. I think her acting is not bad and there are much worse which I seem in other drama before.
But one great relief is the great and interesting forum discussion in this thread. I think it is really nice of everybody to discuss in this thread very actively despite the poor rating.

like you I've really enjoyed the discussion regarding the last 2 episodes 17 and 18 of this low rated drama... Sure it's low but this last Sunday this forum sure was on fire with how strong many felt regarding the mother-daughter-fake mother, family relationships in this drama.. It was so overwhelming to read that emotions were heated, I waited 'til the firestorm died down before finally putting in my two cents....
Two more episodes and like everyone, I hope the writers will give us an acceptable and believable ending that hopefully will benefit HB.. as the adults are running on guilt and anger mode after the revelation regarding HB's birth. I just hope that our hearts won't be broken after faithfully following this quiet gem of a drama.
HHJ, KMJ and JSW all shined in this. HHJ--this is my first drama watching her and I enjoyed her acting. KMJ truly was great because I sooo hated her behavior (a true actress can bring out the worst in the viewer's emotions..), and JSW, I've been a fan for a while--I remember him in Air City, Three Dads and One Mom, Chunja's Happy Events (really loved him opposite Seo Ji Hye--though this was never Eng subbed, 'just followed the actions..) Paradise Ranch-cried with him in his heart break, Giant (I have yet to see but all episodes have been downloaded and in the queue in the to watch list.. he was apparently great there) now our Thorn Birds, I just hope it's a believable ending... and something to please us all.. Oh before I forget SDY--thanks to KW whose character was actually able to allow the JE and YJ to finally appreciate their love for each other beyond the insecurities and unsure future.. and finally, love that ep 18 "bed scene," and Hak Go's pointing out to HB that he-YJ is going to sleep there in JE's bedroom from now on...
thanks so much creidesca for opening up this forum (hopefully your microwave doesn't act up for the last two episodes), dramaok, auntie mame, DarcyCollie and everyone who opened their talents and shared it all with us who love Thorn Birds.... After this, what are you guys watching and recommending to us who are undeniably incurable Kdrama addicts?

WOW, what a day, such a huge commotion over our under rated drama. Has it finally died down here and at the viki spoilers section? Lots and lots of mud slinging from both side of the fence! When all the dust has settled it'll always be to the benefit of HB.. HB is such a hot commodity--everyone seems to think of her as an emotionless thing. HB's health, maturity, future has to be the focus of these adults who think they're all thinking for HB's best.
....SPOILERS....
Although we have 2 episodes left, there seems to be a lot that needs to be covered! HB has an illness, how bad is it that DNA tests have to be done? Toxic YK (a term many has used to describe YK) will she ever get over YJ and stop tormenting him and JE... Yes YK is the birth mother, but she isn't thinking much about HB's benefit. What it boils down to is what belongs to YK--MJ, YJ, HB... Yeah, YK's motives have always been that all are against her. All needs to be punished at the cost of her own happiness. YK's motives clearly has not changed, revenge---get everyone..
Yet in episode 18, when HB's accidental babysitter YK shows her tender side at the Han office--it was quite touching!!! I was taken aback by MJ, YJ and JE's intense fear that YK would hurt HB. YK has to overcome her obsession with revenge to become a healthy mother for HB.. As it goes, looks like the revenge mode isn't ending soon. JD is the focus now but it looks like our beloved candyman KW may go down with his father... I'm wondering if the Haegu Fashion board meeting will bring down JD that YK may not even need to continue with her revenge on JD.
JE-the first and constant target, mother MJ and her acting career, YJ--whom I believe was more in lust than love over YK, have survived. JE and YJ, will they ever allow YK to get close to HB? Will the mothers as well as the rest of the adults ever get over their anger and guilt and so called blood ties to think of HB's benefit? Right now the truth/truths is/are just so painfully fresh that no one is thinking clearly. The anger may die down but the guilt will always be there, eventually as things quiet down, HB will get the best.. In the end JE's foolish, naive, forgiving nature will pacify YJ to allow YK to take her role as HB's mother. It may take a long time for YJ to allow this but he, under JE's guidance will in the end allow that for HB. In the perfect world of Kdrama this may happen because YJ and JE, themselves suffered in their yearning for their mothers. And in this, the mothers MJ and KS's heavy feelings of guilt may slowly die down as they contribute help YJ, JE and YK work together to nurture a healthy and good natured HB and end the cycle of unhappiness... Wishful thinking...
What a weekend that everyone practically crawled out of the wood work and lurker mode to voice out their opinions... just hope that there really is a dongsaeng for our HB... and repentance for YK and forgiveness by all..

The underlying tone of this drama is depressing but this morning everyone is curious about the big "S" word... So did they really or did they....? Instead of usually being in constant anxiety state waiting for any info on the latest ep, this mornin I cracked up at the many posts regarding "did they really do the big S?"
Blood is thicker than water and the guilt will always sway all..... 2 more episodes and the leading role goes to creidesca's microwave... Thanks all for the entertainment....

I've followed this thread and have missed many days of everyone's post. I didn't realize my unfinished post got posted. Here I am trying to correct it. I know this moves pretty quickly. But I just wanted to share that an article regarding the So Korean military is on this week's US mag The Economist with our Descendants in the Sun image of SJK tying SHK's shoes. I keep trying to copy the link to this forum but am unsuccessful. I placed it on my FB account & tagged Soompi Forums. On Twitter you just type in The Economist Uniform Appeal. It's a short article but our two leads are prominently placed from the drama poster... I'm sorry I'm not tech savvy but I know one of you talented fans will be able to copy paste that article for all the DOTS fans to read... Sorry for the trouble but thanks for all the love for our DOTS. And as for their kisses and hugs, yes they are more realistic towards the end but I didn't like that their bodies were too far apart on that hospital bed. Yes the one where they finally get to watch that movie but fell asleep. That should have been a great back hug! Maybe a gif can be from that scene with our couple-pasted right against each other...
