Dear twtwb,

       Thank you for a very well written and insightful dip into the relationship between Si Jin and My Yeon.  These two are people of substance, intelligence, integrity and maturity.  MI Yeon practices restraint and caution whereas Si Jin needs to be bold because not only has he found someone he could love but because his occupation does not give him the privilege of time and normalcy to pursue a relationship in the usual manner.  The writer achieves perfect romantic tension as she moves them through episodes of opportunities and missed opportunities.  And it is to the credit of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo that these two actors play out their parts with such credibility in their utterances and body language.  Gosh, I swoon at the manliness, competence and confidence of Si Jin and kinda squeal and smile at the loveliness and beautiful smile of SHK.  Initially her acting way back when lacked luster but she is giving an endearing and wonderfully credible performance in this drama.  The general public is use to the cheapy and quickie couplings in the Kdramas, hence the criticism about SHK 's acting.  Tsk, tsk, can't they see the beauty and worthiness of a relationship that has been thought through and decided upon from a position of strength, maturity and profound feelings.  Slow but sure.

       It takes a great deal of time and energy to write and after I retired from teaching, I no longer like to compose because it hurts my brain ( ).  Thank you very much for your efforts and for pointing out the undeserving comments of those criticizing Song Hye Kyo.  They know not of what they speak.
