Okay, i totally changed my mind about beautiful hangover. It's catchy but not because of heavy beats, it ... just sticks. I like it so much more after giving it another chance! LOVE THE PERFORMANCE AS WELL. Seung Ri Wowed me, btw.

I remember Seung Ri used to be my favourite because i watched his dancing videos (pre debut) and i had already fallen in love with his voice back then. Nothing much has changed by other members seem to have been given more of an opportunity for independent growth and shine. I've never doubted that Seung Ri could be greater, his potential seems... limitless. He can sing very well, he can dance very well, he's keen and enthusiastic and he is great at talking. People may misunderstand him alittle, i think but I know one of these days, he's just going to pull out something amazing.
He is talented and brilliant in his own right and it warms my heart to see so many other poeple acknowledging it.

I just wanted to pop by to see how people were reacting to the Taeyang Yuri thing. Please don't blow it out of proportion and start hating on him as some above have. They're "colleagues". Blind dates doesn't mean they're dating (and even if they were, i think i'd be okay with that because he's such a sweet and beautiful guy and yuri seems cool too).
They're really close friends. Let's leave it at that unless some other news pops up telling us that they're getting married or something.
I get the feeling that it was either Jaeson Ma or Seung Ri but the latter seems more feasible.

From the teasers, i thought this would be a little hip-hop inclined but it's actually rather poppish. It's catchy and i don't mind listening to it. It's just not really my type of song. It's fun, i have to give it that. I smile listening to it and i sing along.

At first, from the teasers i expected this to be my favourite song. It's so soothing. It's not bad but i do agree that he should have pushed for those higher notes.

Seriously, i don't know what to think of this song. I didn't like it at first. It was probably the worse song on the album for me but after a couple of songs... i quite enjoy it.

Look, i understand why some people are disappointed with Solar. To be honest, i was pretty disappointed at first as well because it lacked upbeat more "catchy" songs. I know this sets him a part from "mainstream" kpop but he's album is a little too mellow for me. I love it nevertheless as it is my type of music.
The other thing is ... poor planning on YG's part. If where u at and wedding dress were the title songs and Taeyang's solo was not awkwardly thwarted at the beginning of the year, it would have been a hell of a lot more successful in my opinion. Wedding Dress is probably my favourite kpop song so it's disappointing to see it not reach it's potential due to poor management, i presume.
I need a girl is a good song, don't get me wrong. But compared to his previous songs, it's a little bit of a disappointment.
On another note. If they pulled the mvs down because people were disappointed... good on them because i was too. There was sooooo much hype for it and it didn't deliver. My friend went as far as saying it was "low-budget" and i ahve to say... i sort of agree. I keep comparing it to wedding dress... but the mv for wedding dress was beautiful.

For the clueless people like me, anyone have any idea when the mv is dropping? I read that it was before the comeback stage so it should be soon right?

That hater is welcomed not to come back again but it did raise my concern. Title songs are generally the ones who raise interest with super addicting beats and powerful dance performances. I need a girl is a lot lot lot mellower than i had expected. Right now, I'm not sure whether that is a good or bad thing. The other thing is, Every other song on the album could be a title song imo so i'm not sure why they specifically chose "i need a girl". Well, i'm going to listen to it again and I will probably change my mind.
Taeyang impresses me time and time again. Seriously loving his music!

Do you guys think the five of them will continue on as Big Bang after this year or the next? Will they end it? Or do you guys think they'll carry the name Big Bang, but do their own thing..?
Honestly, i think big bang has the best chance of going strong for years. People become paranoid seeing as how they have solo activities quite often. Instead, i think this is the thing that will help them as a group. They each learn more and in turn enrich the group but more importantly, it gives them all the opportunity to shine. They have their chance so there isn't a need for them to branch off, if you know what i mean. If i could re-write the dictionary and "big bang" was actually in it, i'd say it was a synonym for versatility and change. The group can easily adjust to the demands of the market while doing the things they love as well. GD loves to produce, Taeyang loves to dance, Top acts.... I believe that they are the most content idols in the kpop realm as of now. I don't see why they would disband.
That was a whole lot of jumble... all in all, i think they'll carry the name of Big Bang but every so often do their own thing as well. I think their way of surviving is the best.

CL looked really really pretty. I'm loving that hair colour on her and her style is (L). All the girls looked great but BOM's worn that dress on numerous occasions now. I think it would be nice if she could wear pants too.

Taeyang and GD's friendship is so beautiful. Fighting over and basketball game... hahaha. (L). I think their vastly different personalities have enriched them profoundly, but has also resulted in a personality switch. As they confessed earlier, GD use to be the introvert instead. How endearing!

OHMYGOD. I'M IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN (though, i never "fell" out of love with the fine-talented-quintet)
Dae Tae and Ri... their harmonising was amazing. Their vocals seriously have improved. aksfklsdfsdlkjsldkjfsd. They look fine as as well!
GD appealed to me most with his rapping. It's edgy but works well with the vocals.
AND HOLY! TOP LOOKS SO HOT WITH BUMPS AND BRUISES ON HIS FACE. He is the epitome of dangerous. (L)

Honestly, I was hardly affected by the news. I expected to be freaking out but I'm not. I honestly don't care whether or not GD is dating Kiki(?). It doesn't change anything.
