Hahaha yes, I remember that vlive, he was supposed to have a "breakfast date" with shawols but he barely spoke and the first song he played was that one lol. And you know what's funnier, a friend of mine said exactly the same, she was like "Why does it seem like Taemin is trying to get her back?" I honestly was so confused about the events during that time, I still am...some days he acted like he was single, some other days he said stuff like he believed in eternal love or that he wanted to get calls every day (it was kinda obvious that he referred to a significant other because the members said he never answered their calls), etc.

Yes, I had forgotten about it but you're right. He also sang it with the members back in 2021 in a vlive in the car. Your post made me remember that in 2020 - 2021 he used to play a song called "더 나은 사람" in every chance he got and even a shawol posted that he was kinda exposing himself that way because the title read as "the naeun saram" hahaha

I'm not sharing the story above to convince u that S&N are dating but instead I'm hoping that long time Naeun fans would share some info or possible reason why Naeun received that kwondo from GD.

No one can exactly know how or when Naeun became acquainted with GD, but she used to be a Big Bang fan, back in 2017 she attended one of their concerts and she was also a guest in Seungri's Netflix show, so there has always been some sort of connection between them unrelated to Soohyuk. Besides, not many people know that Naeun used to have another private account where she followed GD and other celebrities she liked, such as Suzy, Taeyeon and Lee Hyori. Another thing is that Naeun used to be a model for Adidas and Puma, so it's not like she could promote Nike's products on her social accounts before.
Anyways, I could come up with many other reasons, but at the end of the day, we're not their friends, we don't know what's truly going on in their lives. As fans, we should respect their choices and always wish them well. Let's continue supporting Taemin and Naeun together or separately, but don't torment yourself thinking about their private lives, we should enjoy what we are allowed to see.
Edit. I just found out that Yumi is friends with a former Harper Bazaar's editor who now works for Peaceminusone, GD's brand, and she apparently worked with Naeun in the past as well. She was sitting next to Yumi during yesterday's soccer match and she also took pictures with Naeun and Yumi at the Nike Kwondo dinner which took place a few months ago, so there we have another random connection.

Spoiler1. In one of their concerts in Japan, Naeun allegedly approached a fan with a taeun poster and gave her thumbs up.
2. They had a shipper fanbase in Japan which sent them flowers and other presents when they had activities there. Naeun posted about the flower arrangements she received a couple times, she even showed her flowers off in one live or video with Hayoung. Anyways, the thing is that one of the members from that fanbase said that they had talked to Naeun and she told them she was thankful for their support and that they could continue supporting the both of them.
3. During the meet and greets, Naeun shared with a fan she still had her bear at home but that it had run out of battery. She also said they did get the letters they wrote on the show one year later.
4. In Taemin's case, I only recall one fanaccount from 2015 or 2016, which said that the fan had asked him to look after Naeun and protect her and he had smiled and nodded.

I'm happy if they get back together, but also don't mind if they don't. I mean the fact Taemin was the one bringing up Minho's filming, who's playing a romantic interest with Naeun. and then when he had all that calobye stuff when everybody thought they broke up, naeun's endorsement products etc obviously he's okay. idk if you remember that sasaeng who claimed Taemin showed up to Minho and Naeun's filming for beautiful goodbye, probably fake but I think that's hilarious non the less, anytime minho and naeun work together it reminds me of that rumour lmao.
hahaha Naeun is the one who must not be named for shawols. I just remembered that a friend of mine used to be friends with a shawol who translated stuff from Japanese and she told her that j-shawols said that Taemin's gf had attended one of his concerts in Japan and that she was an idol but they didn't say anything else.
Now I'm actually quite curious about the type of music Taemin will include in his upcoming album, especially if he plans to write the lyrics for any of the songs.
Oh, this is actually the first time I'm hearing that rumor. This time he may send Minho a coffee truck to the filming site, that would be quite funny hahaha, just like the time he allegedly sent a coffee truck to Naeun.

I think the 2017 thing started from a "sasaeng" account, (I personally don't believe it but then others were telling me it was true, but still, anything sasaeng... it's shady.)
I see, sasaengs can be really tricky since not everything they share is actually true, and yeah, the restaurant post was obviously fake and done by an international fan since it was badly written lol.
I share your feelings, if they dated that long, it's actually a great feat since most celebrity relationships last like two years at most, but at the same time, it's sad to think about the reasons that led them to make the decision to split up after being together for so long. But like you said, that's part of life. We can only hope they remain on good terms and that we can see them interacting one day. Nothing is set in stone, who knows what the future holds for them and for us.

I only recall the 2019 Jeju trip, I know Naeun had a schedule at the time but Taemin didn't and K-pandas said they were going to celebrate their wgm anniversary since Taemin wasn't going to be in Korea in the actual date hahaha.
And why did people say they allegedly break up in 2017? I don't recall noticing anything weird at that time. The only times I spotted some signs, especially coming from Taemin, were back in 2014 and 2020. Obviously, we can only assume based on our observations, no one other than them knows the whole truth.

I understand why shippers preferred to keep it a secret at the time tho, if it was shared we all knew Naeun was going to be the one to get the most negative comments.
I actually heard about the Jeju trip through a Korean panda, they also talked about it through DMs. I also remember the time they were apparently spotted on a date in Han River back in 2017, Naeun even shared some pictures but some time later she deleted them. It seems like their relationship was the strongest during 2017 - 2019.

Yess, I remember. Also when her friend from LA liked a taeun edit on IG and some fans went to her account to scold her but she deleted their comments. Good old times ~ And I don't see a problem with mentioning his cousin as long as we don't share her account.
Regarding the drama, they haven't been confirmed officially but everything points towards them already accepting the roles, like their co-star following them both the same day, Naeun eating with her and the director, and Minho actually saying that he was trying to grow his hair for the drama, plus Taemin mentioning it during one of their music show recordings. I hope he watches the drama, it would be even better if he sings an OST for it hehe. Apparently, they will start filming in September.
And same, I think it's unfair that we haven't been able to see them interact after 10 years while some other pairs remain good friends or have at least interacted once. But in case they dated, then they didn't interact because of that, and if they already broke up, it's quite likely they won't interact either. We just can't win!

Haha I'm actually quite excited about the drama, Taemin himself seemed to be looking forward to it as well based on a fanaccount from a few weeks ago:

then kibum grabbed taemin's shoulders and went "you're a really special kid, you're a really special kid"
I don't know about their current status, but I want to hold onto the idea that they are still in good terms, after all, shipping is supposed to be fun and I've had lots of fun all these years trying to find and link clues between them. If they're currently dating other people, we should continue giving them our support; at the end of the day, their happiness and well-being is what matters.

I think you're talking about retrouvaille, actually back in 2020 some haters started reporting Taeun fanmade videos after a detailed video explaining their story went viral amongst Korean netizens, and thus most editors decided to close their channels since they started getting strikes for copyright due to the reports.

I was looking at Naeun's post from two days ago and saw a picture where she was wearing the ring again. Like you said it could be a coincidence, but it's still nice to see them wearing the same accessories again after a long time.
And it made me really happy to see an update about Taemin after months without seeing him or hearing about him. I hope he's in a better place emotionally now.

I think we shouldn't link their song recommendations to their personal lives. Naeun has always liked this type of music, most of her recommendations over the years have been sad songs and the same goes for Taemin. A few months ago, Naeun recommended a song about violence/murder and it obviously had nothing to do with her personal life; even though she speaks English, I think she goes mostly for the rhythm when creating her playlists rather than the lyrics.

Aside from this, during apink 2020 seasons greeting ( the concept is about flowers, and each member holding a different flower), Naeun had a peony too and not to mention that during their post that they were surrounded by flowers, one of the flowers that surrounded her is a pansy flower. And if im not mistaken last year during the glowasis live Naeun mentioned that her favorite flower is PEONY. so that's it, this ia not a crumb, but kinda like a big hint or coincidences again?
I checked and you're right. She also mentioned she liked them on a live back in 2018.

A few months ago Taemin did a live at his building's parking lot and some fans found out he was in a Mercedes, so I think that's the car he has now unless he already changed it.

They're both very careful when it comes to their private lives though. As a fan of both, I consider Naeun to be a bit more private since the only social media she uses to share stuff about her is IG and it's mostly work - related. These past few months Taemin has been trying to create a deeper connection with fans by using platforms like Vlive and Bubble but he's obviously only going to share what he wants to share.
Regarding these so-called 'hints', it will depend on what you consider a hint. I particularly don't consider the Celine thing a hint, but a coincidence, since it's become a popular brand amongst idols and it even seems like the brand itself is sponsoring some of them. Honestly, from Naeun's side it's been a long while since we got anything which can be considered a hint. Basically most of the "hints" we got last year came from Taemin.

She's most likely talking about Sodam though. They met in 2016 indeed and if we count the way Korean people do, this would be the 6th year since they met each other I think (their system is still kinda confusing to me), so she maybe made a mistake and wrote 7 instead of 6. What I'm sure of is that she's talking about someone from the cast and Sodam is the only one she's been friends with for a while.

I think it has more to do with him writing SUNSET than the picture itself. If he had written it in hangul, he would have written 노을 (Noeul), which is Naeun's name in Dinner Mate and which means SUNSET. That's why Naeun wrote jinsunset = Jin Noeul.
Plus Naeun's co-actor posted these pictures today, which indicate that Naeun's character will end up being a CEO at the end of the drama and her business's name will be "Miss Sunset".

For me there's no doubt that Naeun likes SHINee, I'd even call her a shawol, but she's obviously not going to say it out loud for obvious reasons. She seems to own plenty of mint/aqua stuff, like these new tennis shoes, her slippers (Adidas now, Puma in the past), a bag, and she even likes painting her nails that color. And let's not forget that she once posted a picture where it was shown that she was streaming a song from TSOL.

4. And last year, a few days before Taemin released Want, Naeun posted this picture. His comeback date was February 11, a day after Naeun's birthday, and her caption was a blue diamond.

I used to post in the previous thread a long time ago but I forgot my account and it was just today that I decided to create a new one.
I quoted @Sunnybears's post because I lowkey thought the same when I saw Taemin's IG story. I know that those days shawols were up in arms over the lack of information regarding his comeback so he was trying to calm them down by recommending some songs such as Falling by HS and this one, yet I still think that him deciding to post this particular song on that particular day was kinda fishy, especially if you read the lyrics.
This takes me to the times he mentioned that number 17 was his lucky number. It was after wgm that he started mentioning it was his favorite number because it was his audition number. I even remember Key being impressed over the fact that Taemin could remember his audition number since he himself couldn't remember his. However, when I saw his audition tape, his number was actually 14.
