From my years in the fashion Industry, from being based in first, the UK, to China, then to Japan, then traveling to all major shows LFW, NYFW, PFW and of course, Milan Fashion Week ( where of course, our GWG was a constant from 2017) twice a year, doing everything 6 seasons ahead, for 3 decades, I can say this for certain. Fan base in China, is crucial. The bigger the fan base a brand has, the bigger the selling power. The bigger, the Volume.
Where China use not to care about public image, it and its people now take public image to the nine heavens! Literally.
In all, 耳边的小风， also analyzes that the ALS have already begun shipping RB and Johnny Huang’s new drama, Love Advance Customization. Pulling out all stops to ship that Johnny is sweet and attentive to RB. ( Evidence presented in the post. )
Here is my two cents. I feel that V did very well last night at HC. He did the right thing by not revealing RB. Why? Because:
1) He needs to get his Acting career off the ground. By this, he needs to keep a low public key on RB and his relationship. Keep public image, tight. Meanwhile he is going to have to go all out these 2 years, earn as much as possible, because he knows that a relationship cannot grow without bread. RB has her bread. He can, and should, do better.
2) Sexism in China. He, is a male, of Han decent. As such, he, has more leverage and more freedom in his contract. She, is female. And most likely, Muslim. So her contract with JX May, most likely be more restrictive.
Sexism and sexual discrimination RULES in China. Though equal opportunities are slowly creeping in, the change is still slow.
3) Increasing his income and placing himself on the road to success. His acting contract may be one thing. His modeling contract. Another. If his modeling contract is signed under another company, which, I strongly suspect it is so, then JX can only take very little out of the cut he gets for attending VIP shows in Milan and modeling for Vogue or Bazaar. Though JX can take a cut out of his taking on advertising for brands, the percentage and the number of brands he takes on, is negotiable, though, he has to do a minimum number for JX. Any extra and those covered on his modeling contract, they can’t touch. Conflict of Interest.
Then Again, I can be all wrong.
4) Acting Clout. GWG has already set the wheels in motion for himself to step outside the controls of JX. By his auditioning and getting the role of ZGS in Candle in the Tomb, he is changing his acting direction, and his image of Dijun in fairyland to more gritty roles, such as ZGS.It is suffice to surmise that he is preparing to cover more vertical roles in his acting, as oppose to staying in the grid of classics and fairyland.
5) Timing. It is not a good time to reveal their relationship status now. Because of all above reasons. A wrong step now, threatens to derail, both his, and RB’s career prospects.
6) JX. Because we have already TMOPB and ELOD, more than 100 episodes of pink bubbles plus BTS to feed off, JX does not need to do too much in shipping this couple. With GR and all the stuff on WB and Zhihu, and more on tic tok and doyin, this ship going on full steam. Best to maintain an air of mystery and keep the ship running on the fuel that was gathered before, than do a reveal now and run out of steam.
There is no need for JX to do anymore than they need to, for now. No need to pore any more resources into shipping this couple. The ship is already sailing on its own steam, and full steam ahead.
Overdoing it now, will just add legs to a snake, and the story won’t be attractive anymore.
As to when GR couple will do a reveal, we will just have to wait and be patient. They will do a GX once the storm has let off, AND, when, RB’s career, nor GG’s, takes a beating AGAIN.
Conclusion, GG has to get his acting and modeling career in balance and down pat.
He needs to get firmly established with a few ML roles, DONE WELL, under his belt.He needs to further his international reach, by having 1 Hollywood movie or at least 1 foreign language film into normination at Cannes.
Meanwhile, RB can do well by tweaking and carefully planning her career moves and mimicking his coming successes. At least, to be on par, but not, stealing the thunder from GG.
Meanwhile, they can and should keep doing what they are doing now, in their relationship. It’s good for GG, good for RB and GG’s relationship, and keeps the money rolling in and keeps the ship running.
Sorry for my tediously long post. I won’t post the link to that Zhihu post anymore. It’s getting repetitive for me.
Note: This is just my opinion. Please don’t attack me. This old dame has enough fabric to cover for the next show. Positivity is most welcome. Negativity has no place where I am. I love Pink bubbles. Especially Pink Bubbles from our GR ship

it’s enlighten us here. On fanbase thingy, well, I have no comments as I don’t live in China but I believe only “true” fans will support them in any situation and what some of als did now, harming R tbh, anyway we’ll see what happen to them when it’s time. I’m fully agree with you on V and R career path at the moment and I am actually quite sure that they wouldn’t gx soon (unless they have other plan of course). Let’s just wait.. patience everyone lol and enjoy the hints from time to time

Wow.. what a discussion
I've just watched HC and as always it was funny and entertaining.. guess what? V sang, everyone!! LOL and he sang pretty good.
I'm not fully understand what they said though haha
I believe GuangRe is testing the water at the moment.. and the result of R's fans going wild is not a surprise anymore with an old school ways of spreading bad rumors about V and attacking V's fans. Actually, I'm quite sure both of them are prepared for this kind of thing to happen (as their shipper, If I may suggest, we all should be prepared too and don't get bother with it
stay cool). V's career is rising up this year, I can tell (it's a good thing), more obstacles will be there for sure. Meanwhile, as someone mentioned here, R doesn't care about her rabid fans who is trying to dictate her life, she mentioned it before in one of her interview that she won't let anyone decide her life (I forgot what she said exactly - and has been discussed here as well). So, let's say they gx and her so called "fans" leaving her behind then let it be.. it's a good thing anyway.
As for more mature fans, I believe R will gain more of them these days. I've been watching her new drama and her image is totally different, strong and independent mature woman. Even though her als boycott and doesn't want to promote this drama, but it has high rating and number 1 in these past 4 days. As I said before, it is a great turning point for her career.
However, imo maybe this is one of her ways to change her image from a childish and playful young girl to a mature woman. V is mature enough as a 37 yo, R will be 28 yo soon, I suppose a mature woman deserve a mature guy too? If you guys understand what I'm saying lol (since als always say V is too old for R) Sorry, this is just my thought
For HC's MC who got dirty words from R's fans.. I don't think he will bother. He is a senior in the industry and been there for a long time I think (I don't really know him), so I'm pretty sure he gets used to it.
About JX... Idk, I kinda feel that JX is actually support GuangRe, but they know how the industry works and how fans would effect their career, so I think they want GuangRe to be prepared for now, GuangRe needs to have a strong foundation for their career (and relationship). Let alone both GuangRe have a contract with them and we never know what's in it. JX is more open to them imo, it shows through the 520 video posted in Douyin. This is how I see it.. V posted it first to public and as we all know GuangRe shippers are "decoding" it and make speculations out of it. Then JX posted the video, "showing" that JX made that math multiplication for him. But then, they shouldn't do it if they don't support GuangRe, we never know who actually made it right? It could be V and JX help him testing the water. And remember, no other JX actors posted it.

I've finished watching the first 2 episodes of R's new drama.. and it is great!! Can't wait for all upcoming episodes.
She's sooo pretty and this role is going to be a turning point for her imo. Mature and sophisticated character, such a badass, which is really good for her. All this time she got kinda similar character I must say, lively and playful. This one is different and it totally suits her.
Her acting skill is improved a lot as well.
Despite of the ML's scandal, he is good too. I don't really know his other drama, but I believe he is not a bad actor, I mean he can really act.
This drama is worth to watch, my fellow GuangRe shippers

Hmm.. I saw it some time ago, I thought you already knew. I don’t think she will apologize unless you confront her (well, she won’t admit it too I guess). She basically made some changes on the translation though, which might be off a bit (can’t see it clearly) so it doesn’t really abvious. Her english spelling is mostly wrong I must say.
You did a great job on those translation. Everyone appreciate your works. Keep your spirit up! I’m not trying to convince you to keep translating, It’s your right and choice to make

Let alone ChuYan CP.On the other hand, if we look at V and R interaction, no one can deny their chemistry and eyes towards each other (I truly believe that even anti GuangRe couple realize it, they are just on denial), compare to their interaction with other ML/FL. However, as we all know about R’s fans, JX matters, and public recognition somehow they have to “hide” it.. well, if you watch their video reaction of ELOD, you will feel the deep connection between them eventhough it seems like they are distant. Why would they hide anything in the first place if they are just best friends?
And too many coincidence as well.. it has been described in this thread before.
Anyway, this is just me lol
I still believe they are a thing.. but then let’s say they are not, so that’s fine too coz both are awesome. They’ve been working so hard to be in this stage right now, it’s not easy to build a career in entertainment industry I think, they deserve happiness in life.

The man will do it first then following by the woman. Interesting hey?

IMO, V was trying to avoid any kind of "news" involving the two of them.. I'm pretty sure he didn't forget about R in that interview, I think he knew the media's direction and he wouldn't want them to make any conclusion about it. We all know how R's fans react about V (and also JX?), so if he "accidentally" mention something that lead to more complicated situation, it would be bad for both of them. And they have to promote ELOD at that time as well. V is a mature guy, he would be more careful and try to avoid any conflict.
Meanwhile in 4 lives 4 worlds and other ELOD's presscon or promotion, even though V seems distant to R, you still can see the way he look at R, eyes don't lie, nothing's change basically hehe
Well, in Happy Camp recently we all can see how V react when R was in the video

Yes, We all should admit as well when R went through obstacles in these past years, als defend her endlessly (yz’s fans, hjy’s rumor, etc). Hmm, maybe I choose the wrong word.. what I meant was, not that she really doesn’t care, she just won’t let them interfere that much on her private life, let alone decide her spouse. So imo R would let them be as it is and continue with her life.
