Some felt Hu Yi Tian doesn't suit the role of Hua Wu Que in the martial arts drama Handsome Siblings but at least he is hardworking. Barely a month after he entered the film set, a training clip showed him practice some fight scenes with a fan. Not too bad for someone without martial arts background.

4 years ago when he was still a student, he was noticed by some tv reporters during a local matchmaking event (in China, they do so in open areas, put up info on notice boards). He stood out by his height already at that time. He said he was accompanying a friend.

 

He must have been 'headhunted' then but only went into filming 4/5 years later.  Probably parents insisted he finished is course at Zhejing Uni.  Afterall the entertainment is unpredictable and having a skill other than acting may be useful.  But it looks like he is moving upwards pretty fast.  Having only done a super small role in Rush to the Dead Summer, he played in lead in A Love so beautiful.  Love Jiangshen and Xiao's chemistry.

Would love to watch a sequel to Little Bai and Appledog's romantic development.  The novel "God's Left Hand' left me unsatisfied about the two.
