I hope KSH works together with Kim Dong-hwi PD again in the future.  I love how encouraging he is towards the cast, creating a workspace where the actors/actresses are able to comfortably put their thoughts into the scenes. i think that's why the drama came out so beautifully, its coz the actors/actress understand wholeheartedly their roles and scenes 

 

also shoutout to let's fight ghost PD as well coz i remember she also have a good chemistry with the PD.

random thought: just realised how cool and professional KSH is, like if Im a teenager (hormonal + emotional) who acted with attractive oppas and have to do romantic scenes (hug + kisses + sweet lines) for 6 months (im assuming thats how long it takes to shoot a drama lol), I would fall hard for them  cant believe she's only 20 huhu

really sad with how they develop sohyun's character in this drama. I feel like she's been tricked again into choosing a mediocre and useless character. she's good with archery but they only showed her practicing and killing 2 bandits. they said she is good at making stuff but like... okay, the scenes are not even that impressive. like uggghh, do something.

now it seems like she's going to be tossed around just to add drama and move the plot. dont the writers get tired of the same old cliche. im sick of her trying pushing nokdu away. the writers are wasting GOOD CHEMISTRY. This is ruler all over again, but thank god she seems happier filming here.

the new still is pissing me off too. I HOPEE she does not go with YM but im 99.8% sure she will pull the noble idiocy trope. pls prove me wrong dear writer

@aineofcebu thanks!  The way she portrays dong joo in tale of nokdu is so adorable hahah she's mature yet childish at the same time, feisty and vulnerable at times so I am really enjoying the drama. sooo glad that she decided to accept the role

hello everyone! I made an account for tale of nokdu so might as well join in kim so hyun's thread while im on it hahahh I have always been a fan of kim so hyun since school 2015. I love her versatility and the way she carries her roles; no matter what her role is, there is always depth and maturity (at least to me hahah) 

 

Im sure as fans, we wanted the best for her and it is frustrating to see her hard work and talent not being rewarded at times (low rating and lukewarm response). But i keep telling myself that she's just 20, she has many years ahead of her and being on top doesn't guarantee you happiness. Kim so hyun herself said that her own happiness is very important. 

 

so cheer up everyone hehehe

 

What are your aspirations as an actress?

"What I try to do as an actress is to communicate with the viewers, to create a shared feeling, so that if anybody is going through a hard time, they can watch me and feel some consolation and laugh, or be happy. I believe that’s what I am doing and I would like to continue to play that role. It is very important that I become successful as an actress, but as a human being, it is very important that I feel happy"

 

also, Love Alarm is a hit in my opinion, it might not be the biggest hit but I would still consider it a success.  and Tale of nokdu is receiving compliments and praises left and right, sad that the rating dropped but she looks like she enjoys her time in the set (based on the bts heheh)
