He's very handsome. Hope he gets a main role in a BL some day. Also his character is so lovely

BTW. is someone still watching? I'm liking a lot the end, this 3 last epsodes caught my attention, from the begining to end.

Although the series was a little boring at the middle, with a lot of fillers and no development

Was funny to read that after MODC ended

I wouldn't use the word funny. But I think I gott what you mean.

What are you thoughts about the ending.

I didn't see it coming, like ep 17 it just came to my mind near the end if that epsode a feeeling that  something bad was going to happen. and so in the very end we have the situation. But for me was not defining that Yu Xi Gu died, I just thought he'd be injured because of the accident. So ep 10 just came and dropped slowly that bomb on us. I was caught in surprise. however I imagined it could happen.

I think the tragic ending was ok afterall because was cohesive with the history. It's common to see this style of history, a relationship of the dreams, dramatically strong, and so in the end some tragic ending ( and mainly in the teenagehood). It's was not the direction I'd have picked, but I respetc it.

Considering it, I was disappointed for not having the accident scene.

There's a question I want a lot you guys opnions.

Hsao ting in the very last scene talking to Sun Boo.

Sun Boo asked him a question I guess all the audience wanted to understand about the character. And I think definely it was somethig. because you won't put any random thing in the very last dialogue of your series. So I'm trying to figure out it's meaning. I think it was a waste Hsao Ting answer, nor that it doesn't make sense, it made. But for the sake of charatcter development. Me as a gay man.

I wanted him to admit it, because in my POV he admited( for me he sad: "I really can't think about having any relationship by now, however, I do like men".  But  with  the dialogue we got with some ambiguity. Why that dualogue then? only for him to say like "maybe".

You read my mind. Yestarday I was reading about it. I was going to ask you about today. :joy:

Well. interesting is that all that we have been talking lately, about the direction Bl productions gonna take. Probabily there were discusions about it, with people who produce them and the backers too.

Imagine be able to interview someone, who was there. it would be a very important information

Oh my god. no more details. If we have the details we gonna miss the surprises. BTW deltos. how much they change the things from a novel to the series? I remember season 1 the scene when Pete came out to his mother. P'NEW gave a Interview telling how he decided to do the scene in that way. I remember that what he told about homosexuality and etc. and was thinking "very nice, a gay director and he is doing the trully "gay" part in a reasonable way. looked like it  came from him, I don't remember if he mentioned MAME.

take it easy on me, it's just a impression. Or better ,is try to predict sometimes how it's gonna be ahead. BTW I agree with @aniola "so far it's good"

I read this the other day that, Mean-Plan has done over 50+ projects/events together since last year and Thats amazing partnership. So its true, they have got a loyal fanbase.

WOW! Do you remember where you read that? That's a important fact, maybe can become an article in the blog I write.

I dont know about other couples. But LBC S2's target viewers are Tin-Can or Mean-Plan fans. So for sure, they are going to be satisfied and that IS an assurance. So if you are a TC or MP fan, Have no fear.

That's the point. I'm a man, like 90% of the fanbase probabily is made by woman. That's where my fear resides. I don't want them to do a series that focuses only on please the fanbase. And there's that common fear, a sequence not being as good as the previous one

BTW.  Any of you guys know someone(maybe that lives in Thailand) or someplace(site or forum) where I can find information about budget of the series, How much they earned, how much each actors recieve? Maybe a GMMTV report. Well anything related to money stuff

  6. whoa! it's amazing to know LBC will get a season 2. I just made my day.

I only can have positive thoughts about it. I'm really happy about the series, the directors, writers, actors, production team, they all deserved it. And Tin Can, they are  really strong in terms of fan base(wich I'm included in) all over the internet. And the managers have been done a amazing work, keeping them together making events and stuff like that.

But as long my expectations are high, my  fear is also. Because of  the moment of thai BL.

I do believed that P'New was going to delivery us a enormous success with UWMA, I know it's too early to jugde, but I don't think it will be that great. I'm afraid in LBC ss2 they(all the production) just subvert our expectations.

And thinking this because of the series I'm watching right now, they are not bad. regarding Make our days Count wich isn't Thai. But they are in the avarage. I when I think P'NEW and LBC I just can think "this gotta be above the avarage".

m' I the only whos thinks that maybe in 1 year or 2 if it keeps this way. Many gonna get tired of Thai Bl?

thanks for sharing your opnion. that stuff you said about Third waiting  for Khai physically, emotionaly is such a phase we go through when trying to forgetting a crush, when is someone near to us like a friend, is more evident.

I beleave that could be the case.

about P'Un and Two. I beleave there are some better evidences during the series that make more sense about he assuming that. in fact, gotta watch the whole series again to clear some doubts

I thought more clearly about. and it's really up to your taste, if I analyse for the perspective that centers on the development of the couple itself looks something very heartwarming and I kind of story that seems to atract me(more like a fantasy, a situation everyone would want to live). but even in this matter there are some important mistakes in my opnion, like lacking a deep look into characters reasons for doing the things they do.

what do you guys gonna watch now on? are you watching 2 moons? is it really good? I see from the thumbnail in youtube. And I think "does it have content"

Someone knows the release date from the next History series?

I just watched Addicted (heroin). didn't like much. and I'm afraind of getting emotional involved in a bad series and  waste my time, in the other hand I just want to a watch something that you know, make me experience feelings through the characters. feelings that I can't experience by myself being single by now

Sorry if I'm using the wrong thread for this kind of conversation.

blame it on TOL, for making me feel emotional about wanting to live a love story

Just can't believe it's over, i'm still like accepting it. Just working in my mind to realize the conclusions about. may take sometime, some days

There were so many beatyful moments in this episode. But one, was very outstanding for me. The first scene of this episode. It made me very emotive, The guy who plays Third, is amazing, at this scene and throughout the whole series the characters seems very true, and deeply constructed.

  11. @deltos I  see the thing you point out

I'll just  add some of my thoughts, and thanks in advance for the conversation, You're a very clever person.

My analysis is like from someone who understands less than you this world.

    1) I see money as a problem. because if you'll invest you need to make money with the product(the series itself), you need to have the support of the sponsors and etc. for example, TOL (I'm sorry I coudn't  get the abbreviations from the BL's you mentioned) is at YouTube.

I mean I would pay o monthly subinscription to watch The GMMTV series. I don't know why (It really woudn't be lucrative?!) line stream service is not available in Brazil, even a south korea stream service is coming to here.

    2) the vision and the analysis of who run's the show. Who has the money to invest, they must believe that things must be bigger, and they could hit a bigger market.

    3) the quality of the product and the audience it's aimed for

It's gets me very frustrated to see all this amazing series, many of them just aimed(not completely) for "fujoshi girls" . is it just because they buy tickets for the fan meetings?

But some like HCTM and TOL are ready to be mainstream, I think, thousand of gay men around the world will support these kind of series, of course if they increase the quality of th stories they tell, and  aim for the right audience, including straight people.

Very true...I felt the same way about  HCTM.   There is nothing much left of the story after E12 other than the " special chapters: If they can close the loop on Too and Un in E12 then I'm satisfied.

You say there's nothing left. I agree. Mainly in the case of HCTM, but in this particular case I guess there's the opportunity of creating a new adventure, you know, I just think it's fair to have the curiosity to see how a half supernatural half human gay couple would face normal people problems, And Ohm's character itself, he's a non stereotypical gay in love with a ghost, and also been open to a new world(the gay world)

Coming back to TOL, They can have a satisfying ending, and they will have. but now, this moments we're having in this late epsodes should have taken more time, or maybe they could go further, but seems that in this bl thai world is just about complete the adaptation of the novel, and done. C'mon We're never getting a BL series with the same amouth of seasons as friends or big bang  theory?!

  13. I just watched the last week's episode too. In the final scene wich they hug each other, it almost fell a drop of tear from my eyes.

    Very nice and unique episode.

I want to point out the conclusion (or not yet) of Bone and Pan relantionship (Bone made a very honorable action). And now is up to Pan to make a choice, I guess she already did, or it seemed too, but maybe this story is not done yet.

And is so sad that now that the series found it's balance and is so amazing and adorable to watch, and not only Third and Khai, but all the four main characters are having a great story. it's going to end =/

And I almost forgot the soundtrack, the instrumental songs are fitting perfectly the situations, helping the emotions

Although, I think I see a slow change taking place. A bit more reality infused into BL series..

    For god's sake, I hope you're right.

Let's talk about this incredible series so far. Some weeks ago I was afraid I could get disappointed. The begining  is not great. It's too slow and is stuck at a kind of loop where Third is always been frustrated reapetdly and the series is like only it, Well there's a great focus on Third's thoughts and feelings, I like this kind of way to build a story, focusing on the character's reasons. Suddenly We had a break in this pacing and abruptly we began to see the things from Khai perspective, it was surprising for me. But was like pressing the OFF button of Third, like we knew he decided to move on, and I believe the writers did it on purpose, but I didin't like it much.

Well now in EP. 10 somethings came clear and I realise the series is very cohesive. All the conversation and the time that was taken to the main couple scenes in this EP, showed me it's a enormous series. the argument of the series(as I thinks it's clear by it's title) is always in it's north it doesn't lose the focus.

the series sometimes seems inspired by movies, and I believe overall famous (and cliche) american love story movies.

But I don't know if it's my impression, sometimes, there's is a very big scene, I mean not that overreaction of drama, but something that causes impact to the storytelling. like the scene when Third and Khai are essaying the play, and suddenly Khai goes out of the script.

So for that I expect a big ending for the three love story.

  15. WOW! I just wanted to say that this series was amazing and the best BL I've watched so far.

I didin't feel any tough break in the atmosphere from the last epsode, I just felt it was well balanced.

The begining was more dense, from the middle to the end it began to get more soft and funny, And after went through this Disney like ending, in wich I think the script was very well, 'cause used the previous knowledge of the situation, and get me surprised 'cause I was expecting the sad ending. I was ok with this ending 'cause even the series talking about this serious subject it was all about a adventure, I feel the series is like a great adventure. So the ending fitted.

BTW, the script of the entire series was amazing, always nice dialogues and etc.

One of the bad things that I saw in this series was OHM playing, he's not a good actor, regardless, the series is amazing

  16. *sigh*

long time not posting here. missing it, last week was kind of hard because the subtitles were out only in the very late sunday, for me in Brazil. So I could only watch EP 13 in monday at night.

unfortunately this week will be the same, because the subber is busy, so probably we're only getting the ensligh subtitles sunday or later. So I'm not going to search noting about LBC before the Subs come out, cause I don't want to get spoilers.

I hope all you guys have a great time watching it tomorrow (it's still thursday in Brazil). I hope also you use the hashtag #LBCforever in twitter, cause the director asked.

At the time I get to see it with english subs, I'm gonna join you here

So can I infer from this that  PA  will kiss some more, TC will go for #4 and MAYBE KT will get #1 ?  Then, the remaining episodes will be +12 scenes ?

So we're not going to have any NC scene for TinCan, not even a scene when Can is without T-shirt. :bawling:

I have been seeing the Abs of Ae without asking it for (just kidding, I like his abs too, can't complain). Now when it's time to show my favorite character abs, I don't have:cold_sweat:

    You mean sword art online?

The first seasson I watched only a couple of episodes, then it deacresed the quality of the history and got fast-paced so I droped

I was watching Shingeki no Kyojin wich is an anime I extremely recommend. I like almost all kinds of anime, but I'm more into shounen.

So I had to make an account and follow along with you guys in this series  I am so sad that there are only a few episodes left. I’ve invested so much emotion into this series lol. TinCan is seriously my favorite ship and I’m glad they got a lot of screen time in the past few episodes. I do agree with you guys when it was mentioned earlier that the development seems very fast pace.

This is actually my first Thai series. Are shows generally this “long” (aka short cause my heart needs more)? I heard some are speculating about s2. Is this just theory or is it actually a possibility?

You're very welcome here. I'm new here too. I created my account weeks ago, in order to comment about LBC.

It's just my second BL series, so i can't answer your questions.

Seems like TinCan shippers are just getting bigger ^^.

I recommend you History 2 Crossing the Line, which I think is chinese. It's such a good BL series, is straight to the point, there's no much fillers, it's like 25 min per episode.

We had family over today so I just saw the subs. I'll have to watch it again a couple more times before I break that one down but so far it was quite satisfying. Also I just remembered, has anyone seen Love of Siam here? I saw Mario in one of the commercials on Friday!!!! I was so excited to see him. OMG I just love that movie! Ok Later

I remember that when I watched it, I felt like a hard heart ache because there was so much angst in it, the love feelings were so deep. One of the most remarkable gay movies I watched.

Man. You saw him ^^.  If one day I travel to Thai, I'll want to meet the cast of this movie (I mean, the two boys).

SERIOUSLY....he and Khun May are planning on doing the prequel>>>????!!!

What a happy news to receive in the weekend *-* hope it will really happen.

EP 12 is just one of the best. I give it 9/10. almost perfect to me. All the stuff about TinCan was amazing and well done, mainly the acting of the two, Plan killling it again, Mean, surprised me, did very well. I'm really looking foward some Plan complicated role in the future, looks like he has a lot of potencial.

Pete and Ae were great this time too, their chemistry worked in the scenes. the only thing bad is the screen time of them

BTW for me another important character having too short screen time is Pond, he's quite important and funny.

As a TinCan shipper I couldn't be happier with this epsode. I loved Tin "agressive" tactics to get to be Can's lover. I see myself in his attitude. If I was him, I would never let Can go, Can is like one in a million.

But I get the feeling that Tin wouldn't ever stop himself from going after what he wants, regardless of gender. Tin usually gives zero f*ucks, just says and does what he wants.

but then, don't you agree these questions are poorly worked in this kind of series?

I mean in MIR there was also a couple that was formed with technically a straight guy that all of a sudden is in love with a boy.

So no being gay or becoming gay personal matters shown. they took such a distancy to the real world sometimes with this histories.
