    This is dejavu. Hmmmm...evokes the cafe thingie again where I'm perched on the fence. Part of me says the legs seem thicker. But man, the timing and the striped black shirt. Why is he posting a pic that adds on the pile of the series of coincidences,  provoking our senses? I think I'm about to get off from sitting on the fence and say it's Hyunie. :D

    Shall we talk a bit about your work now?
    My final piece of work before enlistment! It’s a meaningful show since it is my first romantic comedy and last one before enlistment. I feel happy and regretful too. I was actually very worried because this is my first romantic comedy, but I managed to meet good actors and a good production team and wrap it up safely, that’s why I’m able to enlist happily. Both my body and soul were able to have an enjoyable time because of the romance, comedy and all the little scenes.

    Have you fallen into the smut rabbithole too? Haha, I have not read a deep book in ages. My brain cannot handle it anymore plus I get enough serious stuff from the news. To be honest the only smut I've seen recently is on AFF and the things they talk about there... oh boy. One thing that ruins it for me though is they use a lot of idols in their stories and when I look up who they are, they seem like babies to me. Sorry to boy group fans out there -  I'm just an old ahjumma. Also, it's so hard to find boy-girl stories. Seems the fans like their yaoi and yuri

    One of the things Hyunnie mentions her friends say about her is that she likes to observe and watch people. With her mind and her curiosity I think she would have a great future as a director or writer.

     

    I believe JCW also mentioned in an interview that when he stood on the other side of the camera, he wondered if one day he could be like the directors. They should get married and open a production house together. Being producers would suit them well. Since both are deep thinkers their projects would be interesting.

     

    Hyunnies tastes sure are interesting. I wasn't familiar with any of her book recommendations and so I had to Google Le papillon des étoiles. I don't think there is an English version yet? At least not on Amazon. But from reviews it's a sci-fi/space story that examines the nature of man and criminality using Adam and Eve as a construct. Oh boy.

    We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time;

    We have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

    We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

    We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
