  2. sorry for not being around lately due to soompi are blocking me somehow in the past few weeks :(

i go around Twitter where Jung Il Woo has trending for about 2 days due to his MS and illness. I am so shock and even feel sad to hear about it. I just know about him and now he already went for MS and on top of that has deadly illness ? like any time he will be gone forever ??? well of course i didnt want to aspect for the worse.

as he has already decide about still going to go through his duty for his country, let us just pray and hope that he will come back safely to the Kdrama world and to his fans.

    Jung Il Woo fighting !!!

im-cun, I love this drama, too. It is light, quick, happy, and satisfying. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy - There are some sad parts, but hopefully you are like me and don’t feel them. hahaha - The one thing I liked about this drama was that it was funny and I think that Western audiences may appreciate the bathroom scene, hot tub scenes, and kimchi lick more. It's just that the ending was terrible! The ending sucked and it felt quite rushed. :P

agree, the ending is terrible. like they just want to wrap up quickly. they can elaborate more on the giddiness for the couple. then we can enjoy the fun till the end. what a waste.

Hi im_cun this drama is good although JIW wasn't the male lead here but Kim Soo Hyun. It got a bit slow and draggy in the second half of the drama. Jung Il Woo was rather wasted in this show, I felt, which is too bad, really. Although, he did show flashes of brilliance as Prince Yang Myung but his character was horribly written. The ending could have been handled better, I did find the ending somewhat lacking -  I guess the disappointment for me, is how Jung Il Woo’s character died. The way he died just didn’t make sense. That’s where it didn’t work for me. With all those archers not even one stopped the injured soldier from throwing the spear? But overall, I really enjoyed this one.  I'm also a Jung Il Woo fan.  I loved him in "The Return of Iljimae" and also in 49 Days". In "49 Days" you’ll see that he’s got a good acting range. Jung Il Woo showed a wide range in his role as the Scheduler and had some pretty brilliant moments especially towards the end. "The Return of Iljimae" can be a touch serious and sometimes a little slow, but it’s a well-told story with beautiful cinematography and a very intense, thoughtful Jung Il Woo. You should definitely also check out Jung Il Woo’s other work. :P

    Hi willenette.

For me, sad/tragic ending give more deep meaning/feelings rather than happy ending. That's why, i think it's ok for me when Yang Myung character died. Tragic but in a good way, you see lol. I am screaming too, why he need to die after all those bad guys dead. And why it must be like suicide rather than die as a hero trying to save the brother the majesty. But of course, if he alive, seeing his beloved married someone else is just too much for him that already heart broken twice. If you know what i mean. No need to say if fans really want to have happy ending, the story just give the 2nd lead another girl maybe that having same character as the heroin but it just to hypocrite for me. So the ending should be ok for me.

As for 49 days, I really hope he can have the same character as this one, Scheduler but this time as a lead. This drama is so well written although he was not the lead. As in the middle of the story, his character seems like fading and i always waiting for his character to be in again, it just a torture for me. So really hope this same character will be for him again.

The Return of Iljimae is a drama that i think i can watch all over again. He was just too beautiful in that drama. Damn, JIW is really pretty ! As if he was small as Song Jun Ki , he can be a girl in a real life lol And he was so cool when he fight, though i am not sure either the stunt man was the one that are acting or himself, but the fight scene is just too cool. His figure that was so tall and lean, is really suitable as a ninja. The only regretful for this drama is the rating is really suprised me. As this drama is really being praised by other critics but the rating is just too shame to be true. How can this well story is not having much attention on that time ?? Just too sad. Poor JIW that has been really hard working till get sick to just being the Iljimae.

Besides above, I love him in Cool Guys, Hot Ramyeon too. Cha Chi Soo so cute and he acts the high school boy so perfectly. He really looks awesome in school uniform didnt he ? And the way he say his name over and over again, "I am Cha Chi Soo" lol i love it haha

Anyway, the drama that i most hated JIW in it was My Fair Lady @ Take Care of the Young Lady. Yes, he is the 2nd lead again, but this character really wasted JIW talent. And he being criticized by not shining enough as other character. And who's fault is that? Will not ever watch this drama again.
