I just finished watching episodes 1&2. I have to say, the plot is very interesting, great cast, and the chemistry between O-Gong and Sun Mi is off the charts! Loving it so far!

Hi guys. This might be long (sorry if it is haha) but I need advice.
Homecoming is coming up soon for my school. For those who don’t know what Homecoming is, it’s basically a formal dance hosted by the school. This guy and I have been talking recently - well it was basically last Sunday, Friday, and Saturday. Our form of communication is Snapchat (I know, which I don’t like but he uses snap a lot too). I tried hitting him up in fb messenger to get away from Snap but he left me on read instead lmaoo. Well, I’m a bad converstation starter so I would understand. I’ve been giving hints to him about Homecoming, but I feel like he’s not interested enough in me to say yes. But we’ve had each other snaps for like a year now and talked from time to time. On Friday, I was joking to him. It went like this:
Me: make my senior year lit and go to hoco with me. (A moment later) Don’t take me seriously, idk why I said that.
Him: I might’ve considered but you said don’t take you seriously so nvm
(fml, I know. But he might’ve been playing around too)
Me: Okay I take that back. Make my senior year lit and go to hoco with me. (IDK why I repeated myself ugh) (A bit later) imjk I don’t want to force you lmaoo. But our hoco is lit! (He’s not from our school)
Him: That’s cool. Hopefully you find someone else to go to hoco with.
( I forgot if he said someone else or someone since I didn’t save the converstation ughh)
So yesterday, I tried again. Joking. Again. With those silly snap filters.
Me: Kick it with me @ hoco
Him: isn’t it today?
me: it’s next week
Him: ooouuu
me: nvm it’s in two weeks. But I can ask you irl if you want. Don’t reject tho!
(this was too long for snap & my snap was 3 seconds. Those of you who use snap know we can change the timer on it. He replayed it but he couldn’t understand what I said.)
me: hoco is in two weeks actually..
him: I wish I can dance
me: *snapped something of me dancing*
and then he left me on opened (lowkey salty about it but oh well)
& yes I realized Friday night that I was joking wayyyyy too much.

I showed the convo bc I just need your guys’ opinion if I should stop talking to him?? It seems like he is not interested. I was thinking of snapping him again but I don’t want to bother him anymore.. I was also thinking of asking him to hoco in person but I’m scared he will reject me because we never hung out in real life before. It’s funny bc he lives right across from my friend and I go to pick her up and drop her off there all the time haha. I also want to hang out with him too but I’m scared to bring it up because we don’t really talk that much, and he might think I’m weird.

Also, before we started talking Friday, my friend told him I thought he was cute through fb messenger. This part was intentional bc I thought that if he knew I thought he was cute, I would get over him (nevermind tho lmao). So, he knows that I think he is cute.

I just need advice from a guy’s perspective.. what would your impression of a girl who did this to you would be?? How would you think of her then?? Is it even worth it to ask anymore.. or even try talking to him? It picks at my pride to keep snapping him first when he leaves me on opened. Ugh. Literally a taste of my own medicine : )))).

I just finished watching My Annoying Brother and this movie brought me to tears. I thought the movie was going to be light hearted and humorous all the way, but there was a twist and this movie was heartwarming. Jo Jung Suk did an excellent job portraying his character and so did D.O. These two brought me to tears by their acting. You can clearly see the love/hate bond they have for each other and the brotherly love they have. That even when family members are annoyed with each other, we all help each other in the end because we love them. Excellent job to the cast, crew, and how the movie went. 10/10!

You shouldn't call out your boyfriend or anyone a druggy whether it was in the past or present. Being on drugs is an addiction and it takes so much to move on and get on the right path and be sober. It is a milestone, fight, and a personal struggle for some to become clean again. Gain just slashed him and wounded him with her words and disrespected him and his achievement to work away from drugs. Gain should have let her relationship problems be between the two of them instead of putting it out in public for everyone to see. & in Korea where the use of drugs is illegal and looked down upon, why would she even post that on SNS to tell the world that he used to do drugs - or bring that up again. Not very classy and that was a petty move on her part. With a large social media following and her status as a celebrity, she should have kept her relationship problems private or between the person she's with. Lost disrespect for her tbh.

SPECIAL EPISODE 3
I'm really glad Goblin is popular and high in ratings. After how much they spent on their sets and props such as the ship that cost the same as an episode, chandeliers in GR's tea room, buckwheat flowers, etc.; Lee El's make up that took 4-5 hours being done, the evil eunuch's make up; the CGI; -all of it paid off. Goblin deserves to be popular and successful because of everyone's efforts
I really liked the CGI, and I felt a bit sad when Gong Yoo said "Fans don't realize that this whole drama is made up of CGI. That makes the CGI team a bit sad." I was like "aweee." Because that was true, and now, I want to give them a huge clap on the back and props to them. They helped make the drama come alive because of their special effects!
Dongwook and Gong Yoo are such goofs when they're together. It's so funny, haha! Their ad libs an die their chemistry made the environment fun. Those two even brought Sungjae into it
The crazy duo+Sungjae. They work so well together. Eun Tak was funny too when she grabbed the chair to sit by Kim Shin in the tent. Like In Na said, knowing these small details make Goblin and those scenes more fun. In the buckwheat field where they were practicing the kiss, the tip toe was so cute because Gong Yoo is so tall and Go Eun is short.
I laughed when they showed Eun Tak blowing the dandelion and then the camera zoomed out and the staffs were blowing a fan and making the bell sound instead. That was funny. Also when the hidden cast member closed the door for Kim Shin when they were still in Quebec for that scene HAHAHA. I think the saddest scene was Goblin crying. I wanted that scene to win when they had the awards. I cried when I saw Goblin saying good bye to Eun Tak. When Eun Tak remembered everything in Quebec, it was sad, but for me, they were still getting back together. But when Goblin said good bye to Eun Tak in the tea room, that was more sad. Like, who would know how many years Kim Shin would have to wait for Eun Tak.
The special episodes are a good way to help fans with Goblin withdrawal. It's helped me. I still don't want to let it fully go yet though

I just finished watching the Special Episode 2! This special was more of a recap of Goblin, so I can't wait to watch the next one. The next one will be more BTS and the cast's interactions which I want to see. I noticed Dong Wook called the men by their name and the girls by their character's names which was funny. "Gong Yoo, Eun Tak, Sunny, Sung Jae, and I..." Lol!!
They recapped the love lines, and I must say, Grim Reaper and Sunny's love was very sad. It's hard to want to love someone but you can't because it causes so much pain for you to just see and love them. GR and Sunny never had a happy moment. When they saw each other, it was filled with GR's cute and awkward interactions. I'm glad that when they reincarnated, GR's reincarnation was a manly guy who can lead their relationship. Also, both of them were happy in their reincarnation. Yoo In Na looked really pretty in this drama, and I'm glad the director portrayed her on camera prettily. Everyone looked very pretty and handsome in this drama overall.
I said this in my first post, but since it's so far back, I'll just say it again loool. The director and staffs made the actors appear beautifully and let the actors and actresses show their own color. The cinematography was breathtaking also! Goblin took an ordinary landscape in Korea and made it breathtaking and beautiful. Koreans wanted to go to those places then such as when Eun Tak and Kim Shin first met. A great job well done!

Look at his facial expression when he talks to Go Eun at that scene! It's so raw and he suddenly shifts his whole attention to Go Eun. Even his body was leaning towards her then. When Gong Yoo asked her, "Shouldn't the Grim Reaper her bad at kissing?" He asked it so softly and carefully. Gong Yoo is careful about what he says when he talks to Go Eun
When he did that, it reminded me of when you talk to a little kid and you shift your whole attention to them. You can tell by that gif and his actions that he adores her! His mouth is in awe of her too, opening so cutely. Even when Gong Yoo was talking about Sunny, he was speaking softly. He was talking about Sunny to the others, but when Go Eun answered, she answered him so softly by nodding her head. Gong Yoo picked up on that immediately, paying attention to her.
I can't wait for the next special episode, since this one was a recap about Goblin. There's going to be more BTS of their interactions and the other cast members!

Awee, VIU isn't available in the US. I guess I'll just wait for Tuesday until Dramafever releases it instead

This was last year when Gong Yoo talked about his ideal type. He said now he just likes someone who he is comfortable around with. On the Goblin set, Gong Yoo acted and looked comfortable around Go Eun to the point where he could play pranks on her and laugh at/with her. During the Goblin press conference, Go Eun said, "Gong Yoo is like a prankster. His personality is similar to mine. Even on set, we cheerfully engage in filming while joking around." Their personalities compliment each other to the point where they are comfortable and joke around with each other. It also seems Go Eun can put up with Gong Yoo where when she asks him to do something, he willingly does like the wrap up video and bts where she drags him into a store.
I can't wait for the bts scenes tomorrow and Saturday!

NOOOO, we were all hoping for Gong Yoo and Go Eun to grow closer because of the Phuket Trip
Maybe they canceled the trip because there were so many people that know about their trip and fans can follow them, they decided to cancel. It's better to enjoy your vacation without the hassle of people following you around. It sucks for us shippers, but they might have delayed the vacation because of fans. After Sungjae was scratched on the face by some fans in the airport and Gong Yoo being harassed at the airport, they might be cautious for their safety. Some fans should be considerate and remember they are humans too.
Still hoping for Gong Yoo and Go Eun's future interactions in real life

If Eun Tak and Kim Shin had children, would the children be half bloods like Percy Jackson too?
(A half blood is when a God/Goddess has a child with a human. The child would harness some of the God's/Goddesses's powers)
Imagine mini half human-goblins running around Eun Tak and Kim Shin's home loool. Some of them would be childish and sassy like their father and some would be bright like their mother.

Is it just me that after Goblin finished, the weather became gloomy. In some places it was raining for some viewers who posted and commented about the rain after the finale. Maybe Goblin itself is sad that it's over too

Hi everyone!
I have been lurking and reading this thread since episode 1. ^^ Goblin is probably the first drama that had made me sign up for a soompi account and post on in the forums!! (Also, the community on this thread is very relatable and fun. It was fun to read all your posts that I had to add mine in!)
I can't hold back my feels. I'm having serious withdrawals after the finale. I probably replayed the last scene 5+ times because it was so bittersweet and beautiful. This whole drama was so melancholic, sad, lovely, and bittersweet. The two couples had gone through so much. Words can't explain how I feel about this drama. It's just beautiful. Writer Eun Sook's words are so perfect and every sentence she writes has a meaning to it. I did not get bored watching any of the Goblin episodes. All the scenes were meaningful. The director and staffs made the actors appear beautifully and let the actors and actresses show their own color. The cinematography was breathtaking also! Goblin took an ordinary landscape in Korea and made it breathtaking and beautiful. Koreans wanted to go to those places then such as when Eun Tak and Kim Shin first met. A great job well done! This drama was an emotional roller coaster. Every episode and every scene was unpredictable, and we wouldn't know what was coming up next. Also, the OST's were perfect and fit every scene the characters went through! I have been listening to the OST nonstop (a way to cope with the drama ending). The OST's are very genuine like the characters. They're very beautiful sounds, no wonder they're topping the music charts! The lyrics are so magical and beautiful (I don't even know how many times I said beautiful anymore) just like Goblin. The casting of every drama Eun Sook takes part in, it seems like all the actors and actresses were made for that role. From Secret Garden to A Gentleman's Dignity to Heirs to DOTS and to Goblin and many more, the actors and actresses fulfilled their role and suited it. Not only is it the main role, but all of the supporting actors and actresses too. No one had miss a beat while being their character. I don't know what to do now that Goblin has ended. I'm going to wait for their special episodes and cry again because there will be no more on every Friday and Saturday.
Since I'm still withdrawing from Goblin, I was lurking on a Goblin instagram (Gong Yoo x Go Eun insta lol). And I found this: We all know now that it's the last scene of Goblin.
What if the ending did happen with him stroking her head? I know it's very minor, but I think it would had let some of us finish the drama in peace loool. They didn't need to cut it T_T But it still turned out to be a beautiful ending and last scene, so I can't complain
THIS IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL DRAMA YA'LL. I JUST CAN'T LET IT GO....yet!

Hey guys! Just want to say, I love this drama! I started watching this drama on Tuesday and binge-watched it all day & I’m caught up & just finished eps 14 yesterday!
The concept of this drama is refreshing and thrilling & major props to all the cast members! Throughout the drams though, I was wondering why they never thought of making armor for defense haha.
the only thing I really don’t like or maybe bc I watched it all in 2 days (this is just my opinion so pls no hate lol) is Hee Ju is crying wuth every scenario. I understand that it is her character & she’s vulnerable, but by now I thought I would see some character development that made her more stark or to see her actually playing the game but oh well. Besides that, I really like this drama! It kept me on my toes & the way of filming and editing editing (altho some are long and repeated) make it very suspenseful!
