in 'green rose', when she is the model for her company, in some pic, she looks like song hyeko. im watching 'green rose' now, and when i first saw her pose, i was like "hey, it's song hyeko", but when i looked closely, it was her. ^^

i agree. pho and ao dai are the first thing that people think of whenever they talk about vietnam. those two represent vietnam. and dont forget about the scenery. they are beautiful.
as for media, they do have their own music, but mostly, they are influenced by other countries.
oh yeah. nobody has mentioned banh chung huh? yeah. Bánh chưng is traditionally eaten at lunar new year. it tastes good too.
some popular cuisine in vietnam : Bò 7 Món (seven courses of Beef), Phở (noodle soup), Bánh bao (Steamed bun dumpling ), Bánh chưng, Bánh mì kẹp thịt (vietnamese sandwich), Bánh xèo (vietnamese crepe), Cơm tấm (rice), Nem rán (spring rolls), Gỏi cuốn (summer rolls), Bún Bò Huế (spicy noodle, my favorite noodle)...

i just downloaded his album too. i was brushing my teeth this morning, and i suddenly remembered "hey, today's the 18th. brian's album is out today". then i quickly finished brushing and rushed to my laptop to download his songs. and i must tell you, i love it!
