@hayperreality Question. Did he get surgery in his chin/jaw? I noticed that in Arang his face is a bit rounder but in SHR, it got leaner on the jaw area.
In an interview he said he only had laser surgery for his sight and surgery for his front teeth. In SHR he was told by the director to loose weight for the role and he lost quite a bit, that's why his jaw is more pronounced.
You can see his pictures from baby until now and judge whether he had plastic surgery or not.
he didnt get surgery for sure. i can assure everyone. I've watched him since 2006 and he looks completely the same. he just got older and lost a lot of weight.

since many of you said So-Soo relationship parallels Taejo-Sooyeon relationship , and that Soo herself is a time traveler and thus does not belong to Goryeo, i believe she will serve her purpose to put Gwangjong on the throne , carry out her duties then perhaps die and go back to 2016 , while Gwangjong will die with his last memories of Soo in his mind

@Gabi Bros LOL at your "I hugged Hae Soo" part. Joke aside, I have to admit that I am excited for next week episodes where Hae Soo is finally awaken and has long awaited lovey dovey scenes with our Wang So. She is finally reciprocating his love. Better Late than never.
One thing though, when Hae Soo confronted Darth Wook after Crown Prince came back, She told him that she could leave the palace with him now. Did she truly mean what she said or was she testing him?
my take on it was she probably didn't want to leave with him entirely , but to prevent him from hurting others , she would rather leave the palace with him and settle outside as commoners . also another part of her was trying to grasp onto the fading illusion of their happiness together and his empty promises of taking her and going out of the palace to live together happily . she could have also been wanting to confirm that those promises weren't empty promises , that even if he had abandoned her previously , he still loves her and would keep his promise . basically she was also lying to herself , trying to convince herself that he didn't change , and that she didnt either when its clear she's not a priority to him and he only wants the throne right now and not to lose anything to wangso , meanwhile her heart has changed . her heart recognises it longs for wangso while her mind tries to convince her that she still loves wook , refusing to abandon him .

Also Jung (14th Prince) opposes to Wangso till the end , i think Wangso accidentally "killing" Wang Yo probably sparked the fact that he would always hold a grudge against Wangso . This episode was also a turning point for their brotherhood (not like they had much bromance to begin with), meanwhile Baekah will stand by Wangso till the end hehe

can i just say that re-reading twitter made me realise that wangso's last recollections of his father was his father going to shinju every year and asking jimong to pass wangso a mask while hiding in a palequin looking at him from afar. previously, wangso said that the king was a king and not a father but he finally remembers and realises his father truly loved him , not as a king but as a father . looking at wangso from afar showed that he cared for wangso and missed him, but perhaps the king was always training wangso to be the strong man he is today, to be able to kill regardless, not be deeply affected by family ties and his own emotions (as shown by the king being pleased when wangso defied him in episode 12). by providing a mask every year without fail shows that that was the king's own way of protecting wangso . the mask symbolises wangso's shield , like a breast plate , something that will hide his weakness and protect him from his enemies . in the same way , the king sent the general to teach wangso martial arts, another way of how he tries to protect his own son from the outside world , despite throwing him out of the palace (which was also to protect wangso from the rivalry in the palace i believe, seeing that he knows wangso has the fate of a king). wangso's realisation that he actually was loved , although not by his entire family , but his father did love him , i guess that brought him comfort and was a closure for his loneliness and longing for parental love . wangso covering the king with the robe could also hold the symbolism of him wanting to fulfil his last duty as a son to his father , to pay his last respects , to let go of his resentment and to gain closure.

what is the purpose of king marrying wang so to his daughter ?
just because he trust so ? or so then wang so can become the next king ?
basically to tie wangso to his family . wangso won't be able to betray the king easily then (alliance through marriage), making wangso truly one of his people , and possibly to give wangso a higher chance of getting the throne ^^

Welcome to the family Claudia! I'm quite new here too! I love reading the analysis on this thread and sharing my thoughts. Looking forward to read your opinions too
My take on that scene is that HaeSoo is finally relieved to get the answer she wants to hear. I forgot which version but before she asked "Did you miss me?", she told Wook "I missed you" twice. But instead of hearing a reply like "me too" or something, all she got was more excuses as to why he wasnt able to keep to his promises. And she's had enough of excuses. So she asked him the question. His answer to that was what she wanted to hear in the first place. Her saying "then all is good" is like implying 'I want an honest answer.I dont want excuses'. Perhaps this scene also puts her mind at ease knowing that Wook did genuinely love her so it isnt a one-sided love. But she accepts this relationship isnt going to go anywhere.
is there a way i can reply without quoting ? i loved the way you looked at her response . today's episode did make things clearer . i guess she still had hope in him , tried to make excuses deep inside her for how he abandoned her , tried to convince herself that her love for him was indeed valid so she didn't want to abandon him until he clearly explicitly told her he didn't have feelings for her anymore . today's episode made me happy because haesoo reached out to So finally !!!!! she reached out to hug him and comfort him , also she showed that she trusted him more than she trusted anyone else when she told him about the king's condition and wook's plan . its safe to say that today's episode would be the true turning point for so-soo's r/s !!!!!!

ah finally I've figured out how to reply to this forum . I'm so happy that I've finally found a platform to express my love for moon lovers and thanks to everyone who analysed the episodes and pointed out minor details . i think we've all come to a safe conclusion that Haesoo IS very much in love with Wangso as well , she just thinks of herself as a misfortune and doesn't want to hinder his future as king . for that, i can forgive. but the scene with Wook made me so confused. "then all is good" after hearing Wook's confession that he missed her too, every second . so whats up ??????? i can't understand why the scriptwriter added the scene . can someone kindly explain to me what they thought of that scene ? also i swear this thread moves at the speed of Wangso's horse i really can't keep up with it but I'm so happy everyone here adores Moon Lovers (the heart is cute too)
