    It showed a lot of Arthit's behaviour after finding out about Kong's love for him... I liked that we had plenty of time to see how he was taking the information in and struggling with it because we have to pick up on his internal state through the way his expressions change in different settings and the way he finds himself talking about Kong to other people or avoiding talking about it in other settings. For me this is nice because in the show you can't directly hear his thoughts so you get to journey through his day and his conversations and see different aspects of his internal state as he is in different contexts and talking to different people.

     I agree with you. This episode filled in some gaps about Arthit...explained his love triangle and his attitude towards emotional awareness. He fell in love but didn't realise it...came to face up with his emotions only when his friend wanted to confess? I don't know but it looked like it. He is just not the kind that is very forthcoming with his affections, let us put it this way...okay. I think Namtarn just liked the other person a lot better so...didn't matter if Arthit confessed to her or not. I suppose? One cannot control love. 

    We have to fill in the gaps of the other characters to ensure a decent flow of the storyline...I like his friends and their interactions with one another. Although they know something is bothering him, they let him be. This I find rather strange... Arthit is losing it....poor guy. He is so withdrawn, he keeps replaying the phone call in his brain I am sure. I mean how could you hang up on someone who is pouring your heart out and not feel anything...well not him. It has been three bloody years and he still could not let go of this Namtarn crush...I am sure he will never ever let go of Kongpope and the emotional entanglement with him. Never. 

    The seniors, they care for each other. I admire them more now. They are real friends, not only just fellow hazers or classmates. P'Not is a very very sensitive and valuable Friend to Arthit. I love his character!!! Their interaction is so different from The juniors, actually goes to show they have a long long long way to grow. 

    I think I need to watch it with the eng subs....to understand things better...but this is just my thoughts.

    Anyway, it's almost 1am here... I think I should rest and get myself prepared to sub EP.11! It's going to be brutal! I don't know if I can get thru it now that it's so close!!!! What if I can't watch it? What if Kongpope's tears makes me go insane? Arghhhh!!! Knowing what happens doesn't help at all when Singto and Krist are acting it out! They do such an amazing job! Goodnight for now, I'm going to go knock out! :blink:

     

     

    I've been asking myself all week long...AM I STRONG ENOUGH TO WATCH THIS THROUGH LIVE STREAMING? Next thing I know the time is here, I shall hug my comfort pillow and drink my warm lavender tea...to calm myself...are you guys ready???:bawling:

    Yes, I know what my tears taste like. I've tasted it more than once. But not with pink milk.. that would be interesting because pink milk is so sweet. 

     

    Well their first kiss is on the Rama 8 bridge... and their second kiss with love was during the really long special chapter that I'm working on now. The 'Thank the Seniors' Party was towards the end of the 2nd semester, right? I don't have my book with me so I'll have to check when I get home. ^_^

     

    I never expected you to apologize, I liked it. LOL! Yes, I know how to swallow!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

    I am not really doing anything right now when I get home. I've just got enough time to sleep and eat before coming back to work. But I have 5 days off coming up so I'll get most of my SOTUS stuff done then. ^_^

     

    Not really the happiest spoiler... BUT a start to one... ^_^You guys already knows what happens on Rama 8 Bridge.. right? :blush:

    “P’Arthit, what are you doing here?”

    The owner of the name turned around to look at the person calling his name. His eyes grew wider, he couldn’t believe the person he had just thought about was standing in front of him. He couldn’t help but ask the other person.

    “Kongpope, you haven’t left?”

    Kongpope showed a worried expression, he didn’t want to create any discomfort for the other person. Arthit probably thought that he wasn’t here anymore. But Kongpope still answered truthfully.

    “No, I didn’t want to go home right at this moment.”

    At that moment for Kongpope meant right after the wedding had ended. He was truly happy for the love between the groom and bride, but it was making him think of his own situation. He couldn’t help but feel a certain pain deep in his heart.

    He knew… the feelings that had built up in his heart were hard to accept. Not just in society, but even within himself, he was confused. And the person he had given his heart to, there was no way to rush him into it. But to completely stop him from having those feelings, that was impossible too.

    He had told P’Pern to go home first, he didn’t feel like going back to his dorm. He didn’t want to just go home and watch the balcony across from his room alone. He wanted to walk around, to use his head to think things through quietly.

    Kongpope let out a sigh, he was just about to turn around and leave in another direction without saying a word. But before he could move the voice from the person in front of him asked a short question.

    “Are you hungry?”

    It was a question that didn’t have any reasons behind it, it made Kongpope confused.

    “I’m hungry, go find something to eat with me.”

    After saying that, the person that was hungry turned around and walked out of the parking lot, leaving the other person in confusion to think over those words. He came to the conclusion that the other person had just invited him along to find something to eat together.

    Even if he didn’t understand what Arthit was doing, Kongpope couldn’t help his own legs from following. They came out of the street from the hotel and walked over to the main street. There were cars running back and forth, they walked for quite some time before finding a noodle shop on the side of the road. There were a few customers already sitting there.

    Kongpope sat down after Arthit at a little table. The waiter came over and to take their orders. The person that invited Kongpope started to order quickly.

    “I want the egg noodle with wontons in tom-yum special.”

    “Then I’ll get small rice noodles in clear broth with meatballs.”

    His usual order, at first he thought Arthit would laugh but he didn’t say anything. 

    … One bowl of egg noodle with wonton in tom-yum and one bowl of rice noodles in clear broth and meatballs. It made him think of the time he and Arthit went to eat noodles together. Arthit had switched their bowls with the reason of wanting him to try new flavors. And Arthit had ordered it just for him.

    … A simple reason, but it shook his heart, which had turned into something that stuck in his heart.

    But those moments wouldn’t repeat itself, because the person who ordered the egg noodles in tom-yum took his bowl and added a bunch of ground up dried peppers. He picked up the noodles with his chopstick and shoved them into his mouth without wasting any time.

    Kongpope then started to eat his dish, he picked up the meatball that he liked and put it into his mouth first. 

    “You like to eat meatballs?”

    “Yes.”

    “Here, take this.”

    … Again… How many times has it been that P’Arthit did something like this?

    … Arthit would act like he didn’t care to the point where Kongpope wanted to stop his feelings. But in the end he would give him hope again, these manners never went away. Kongpope should be used to these manners, but in the end he would over think everything on his own. And then it was him that would get hurt in the end.

    … Hurt from having hope that didn’t lead anywhere or have any clear meanings.

    “P’Arthit, why are you doing this to me?”

    “What am I doing?”

    “You really don’t know or are you just pretending to not know?”

    The hand that was picking up the egg noodles stopped suddenly, but it started moving again as he let the question flow away with the air. Instead he commented on something else that was unrelated.

    “If you don’t eat it quickly your noodles will become bloated.”

    Kongpope looked at the person who had just changed the subject, he was still busy eating his egg noodles without any care for the conversation. But his actions only confirmed something.

    … P’Arthit knew it already.

    … He knew what Kongpope meant and he still chooses to do these things. He still chooses to make it unclear for Kongpope. Sometimes P’Arthit would let him get close, but then at times he would push him away. To the point where he now doesn’t know where he should stand, and there is only one person that can answer that question.

    … He wanted to know… What was P’Arthit thinking?

    But there was no point in asking when the other person wasn’t interested in listening.

    Once they were done P’Arthit got up and led the way out of the restaurant.

    At first he thought P’Arthit would go look for a taxi or get on a bus, but that wasn’t it…

    P’Athit kept on walking as he followed behind, he hadn’t kept track of the distance they had walked. When he looked up they were already standing in front of the Rama 8 bridge, it’s lights were beautifully contrasting the dark sky of Bangkok.

    Oh my god!!!! Seriously, I never knew there was so much more to this scene!!! I thought it was just a simple confession scene!! Stupid me...thank you so much!!! Thank you for giving us insight on what was going on in their minds...Kongpope you ...where can I find a man like you?????:wub:

I usually HATE the cliche waking up and being in each other's arms in lakorns, BUT this is the only scene I wish it happened in. Wouldn't it be cute if that really happened? Kongpope can wake up first and cherish Arthit in his arms before he goes to shower. I'm turning emo again. I really believe Krist and Singto's acting.. I can see Singto's love for his P'Arthit in this scene.. :tears:

    After watching Episode 10 er five times...maybe? Still counting...right...we are all in the same boat I am sure. When the streaming came on without a hitch last Saturday, I was in a real dilemma. I mean should I watch it or should I wait until I was emotionally ready. Seriously, I never thought I was this wimpy. I have never ever watch a drama with such emotional attachment! Ever! I don't even watch dramas anymore, my hectic work schedule does not allow it. 

    However, I do watch many BL movies and I am one of those you call Fujoshi. I only read BL mangas...unless I stumble across something interesting that is different like Nurahiyon that type. Anyways, back to Sotus. This episode has taught me many things - one can never rush love, great rewards come to those who wait and love knows no boundaries. Not to mention Bittersweet's style of story telling is so hypnotic, everything seems to flow at a very intense but gentle pace. The show has done really well to stay true to her writing and I have read some translations out there other than Delightful's to compare. Thank you to all translators and subbers, I really gained a lot from reading these hundreds of pages!

    The emotions played by Krist and Singto really gave me true insight just how intense Kongpope must be feeling, he kept everything bottled inside. Up to the point that he would spit in anger at Arthit when he is jealous! He cannot control his feelings anymore. He could have just kept quiet when they were sharing the same bed. Why should he reveal anything and risk everything? Just being there in the same bed feeling his warmth and staring at Arthit, he could not stop himself...his emotions exploded like a volcano. He felt better I am sure because he closed his eyes in relief after that.

    Too bad for the other person though. Poor straight guy Arthit, who had always loved pretty girls, had to handle a confession from someone who gave him nothing but a lot of trouble the past few months. The way he reacted was very normal to me, some straight guys would punch the other and high tail out of town I tell ya. I love his dilemma and deep introspection because it means he really does have an emotional attraction or attachment to Kongpope. That is good news. His words to Kongpope in the lab is reactionary, he is bad tempered so that is how he will predictably react. He is probably angry at the emotional burden Kongpope has dumped on him, he does not do well en expressing himself so he lashes out at him. Once he cools down, he will go back into his emotional shell and introspect. Thus the very gentle pace of self discovery. 

    Sorry for this very long-winded post. I just feel the need to express myself hahahaha...Lastly, I will sit back silently and watch until everything finishes before crying. Thank you all for being such wonderful fans! I really love this forum.

    Other than fetching his date...this is obviously a date....Arthit should not think otherwise. I am it sure why they cut off stuff from the novel...maybe they got the message across already with the cheesy lines and the waiting at the hairdresser....the restaurant. 

    I mean the cheesy lines is cringe worthy I am sure...the stuff Kongpope says quite up there...

    Patience is a virtue isn't it...hehehe...good things come to those who waits very patiently...

    Oh my god!! Thank you so much for translating this very very important special chapter before the show begins again. I see that both of them are totally committed and in love with one another, a glimpse of just how deep Arthur's feelings are for Kongpope....literally, can't be helped...he just gives in to his boyfriend's every demands...well sort of.  The timeline of Missing 2 is after this special chapter? You know sometimes I get this whole thing mixed up with your fanfic...my fault...age catching up...

    Do rest well...I feel you are like really immersed in this whole translating thing...fantastic for us but...take care.

    Oh my god!!! Thank you for this!!! My my this Kongpope does plan ahead right??? I mean getting a ride for the REST OF HIS LIFE??? Well excuse me for jumping the er...gun. 

    By the way, is it just me or this whole chapter on riding a bike has some double meaning? Like you know ditch the old bike means ditch the old life and inhibitions. Get on the older but very enticing bike...hehehe...though not allowed to touch Kongpope managed to get into Arthit's personal space? That's the privilege...for the rest of his effing life.

    I need a life and I miss this show!!!!!! :bawling:
