    Haha funny you mentioned that.  I was never interested in tourism in China before Addicted.  Now, I'm actually going around late December to January to Shanghai.   No matter how many times this was said, but Addicted was all too consuming.  So appropriate of the title and the effects it has on the audiences.  Still drawing so many more fans till today, what kind of drug is this?! The sweet, addictive love drug of GH and BLY.

    me too!!! I'm having such a hard time coping without the boys.  I'm rereading the novel and rewatching the series just to get by.  It is a good thing for JY working on his movie and ZZ taking a much deserved break.  I guess we will maintain our patience for now.  I am sure the wait is worthwhile.  ^.^

    Yes please please kind souls! wherever you guys are.  One down.  Next is season 2 of addicted, then marriage, and possibly propagation?!? Science is advance nowaday...this should work right? We need more little ZZ and YZ to bring more happiness to the world.

    Just out of curiosity did anyone read the latest chapter 148 of the novel translated by the gracious saehan01?  it is TEARS INDUCING in the best possible ways.

    This chapter really give us hints of how much BLY really loves GH.  Changing his own naturally cold demeanor into a gentle and kind companion comforting someone he really cherish.

    BLY was confronting GH about him suffering alone from his mother's death.  Then he suddenly said "you have me."  Those three simple words traveled miles into GH's distance, closed up heart. Given GH's strict military household and how the only love he ever had was from his mother.  From a young age, he was forced to be independent and resilient.  However, that is just not how you raise a child in this world.  To be strong in order to brace the world is not created through physical and mental endurance, but to have a human heart molded by familial love.  Yet, that very love was taken away at such a young age forcing him to grow up alone without the tender warmth of his mother.  These experiences lead GH to be the person he is now before meeting BLY.  (Huge credit to the genius CJD for creating such a character that is a direct transcendent of his own upbringings.  The readers/audience can really pictured the realism in her characters).  Maybe this is why his idea of love and possession are so warped and psychopathic, and it is completely understandable given his background.  BLY on the other hand grew up without a mother in a totally different scenario, BUT had arguably the same amount of love that any child could have thanks to his doting dad.  The rejection from his mom fuels his cold outer appearance, but mask behind that is a warm heart.  BLY understands love way more than GH does, and thanks to that he was able to pulled GH out of his prison.  Free to find solace in another human being and finally beginning to understand love.  

    I was picturing ZZ and JY acting out the scenes in this chapter, then it suddenly hit me on how much the line was blurred between fiction and reality.  Almost everyone agreed on how much alike they are to their characters, but this chapter really hit hard between the similarities in persona.  Probably not with such tragic backgrounds, but situational.  Their amazing acting talents might have been driven by the similar situations of loneliness/hurt/rejection throughout their childhood.  We human learn through experience.  In order to show such degree of compassion, one must have faced enough pain that they do not wish upon anyone else. Maybe they weren't really acting at all, but just raw emotions pouring out upon meeting each other.  In either case, this made me a fan of life for giving me the chance to meet these two characters/lovers.

The fan said ZZ was there to see a Frenchie. No word if its the same Frenchie that was featured in JY's friend's WB. I remebered JY denying the dog was his when a fan asked him about it just before the Yaya concert. ZZ's friend did not allow the fan to take a picture so she/he settled for a picture of ZZ's red Audi .  This totally begs the question....WHY IS THAT AUDI IN SHANGHAI AT THIS MOMENT?? Because he had made a secret trip there awhile ago of course and left the car there of course.  BTW, ZZ also collected White Porridge last night. Is he bringing the kitty back to Shanghai? 

     

     

    I get so giddy reading about these updates.  If it is true that ZZ did go to the shop of JY's friend then thats pretty hard evidence of their relationship.  The universe isn't that mysterious, how can it be so coincidental to go to the same pet shop out of the hundreds in Shanghai?! AND to see a Frenchie?! Come on now...

    I think what @Alby Roma is trying to do is to use Addicted as a platform to promote the very idea that “love has no labels” which is very big in Western society.  Sadly, we’re still not on the same level as in some Asian countries, homosexuality is seen as a disease and a taboo not to be spoken about.  The general rule is that one must get married by a certain age to the opposite sex and start a family.  That is a very primitive/traditional’s view of what happiness is all about, especially in Asian countries.  This is an extremely sensitive topic for me because it hits so close to home.  Maybe that is why Addicted has played such a big part of me wanting to change myself for the better - To live more freely.  I think of myself as bisexual, but then I can never really reveal my other side to my parents because it would hurt them so much.  Given the obligations, filial piety, and the love I have for my parents I wouldn’t dare to.  I too like several other people given their backgrounds will probably ending up living a very traditional life, whether for true happiness or what society expects of us.  That is until I was introduced to Addicted and then the actors.  As the story unfolds on screen and in real-life, I can imagine myself in every aspect of that and it gives me hope.  That one day I may acquire the bravery to face fear; the fear of hurting my parents and the fear of living on my own terms.  Addicted was and is a great medium to inspire people everywhere, given it ginormous fan base internationally when there was little or no promotion due to the ban.  This suggests that there is something that touches humanity and is relating to a lot of what people are going through.  Whether it was admiration for the story/actors or the love that follows, there was some undeniable impact about Addicted that it spoke to so many people. 

    I agree with everyone trying to protect the boys and that’s why we are all here.  I am sure if given the chance they would gladly be advocating equality in love and all aspects of life due to the inherent goodness found in both ZZ and JY.  Times are now sensitive like many people have said and it may not wise to use Addicted in this manner since it will consequently affect our beloved boys.  However, I think we all posted enough warnings to Alby Roma for her or him to get the idea.  Can we all get along since we all have good intentions?

    Time to use the restroom and maybe catch up some much needed ZzZzZ…all bodily functions were ceased during these two magical hours.  Glad to have shared such a wonderful experience with everyone here, I’m sure it was a lot more amazing in person for the lucky few that went.  The Kitty/Baby did an AMAZING JOB!!! That was such a good high!  Looking forward to read the backlog of the many pages that were updated and a more composed analysis from you guys when were all mentally stable again.  Goodnight everyone. <3

    Hello!  I am wondering where you are getting the fanpics from?  They are simply amazing...Especially the last one about the ending of the novel.  I just spoiled it for myself, but WOW what an ending.  The emotional impact was beyond anything I've read or seen.  I take back what I said about the novel not being profound.  What a fool I was, this was simply perfect.  It is familiar, warm, and bittersweet...everything comes in full circle with

    BLY and GU was conversing about GH-“Say…How long do you think our bike will last?”  BLY-"for as long as you want-eternity"   and the Bike with the bow at the end

    …oh dear lord god jesus…I am not worthy of this gift.  I am an emotional mess at 12:30AM knowing this was the last time I get to read about the characters of GH and BLY.   What a journey! What a love! No matter how many tribulations were thrown at them, to overcome them all and ended where they are now.  Saying all this was fate sort of undermining their whole voyage; it was the greatest love combined with the greatest struggles to sustain a relationship between two of my most beloved fictional characters.  Saying goodbye is hard, but I’m so glad there’s a real life version of GH and BLY currently undergoing their struggles right now to arrive at the happy endsJ. 

    Work is in a five hours and I don’t plan to sleep.  Time to binge watch season 1(praying even harder now so we can get season 2 to experience all these amazing content that was left over in the novel) all over again to relieve myself of this ache.   Sorry for the emotional rant, see you guys in the morning.  Time to experience when Hai meets Yin all over again ^.^

    Hmm I am not understanding the CPF and JY only fans?  What's the distinction here.  Isn't the point of being a fan is to fully support your idol in whatever decisions he makes because he is the person who made them?  Isn't this the whole point of falling for your idol to begin with??? We all love him because of who he is.  Why the segregation =(...

    I don’t know if this was mentioned before but I find it very interesting that ZZ and JY real life roles are somehow reverse from their Addicted counterparts.  ZZ played the reserved and passionate BLY, while JY played the outspoken and charismatic GH.  From my observations and what knowledge I have of them, it seemed like their roles are switched in real life.  ZZ in person is a very charismatic and warm individual and JY struck out as a more reserved person, with a heart that is filled with compassion.

    Their upbringings are counter synonymous as well; ZZ seemed to have come from a wealthy background while JY started with more of a humble beginning (the story about how he wanted a pairs of shoe, but had to assessed their income level.  Rather than throwing a tantrum he just sleep off anything that bothers him =(.  What a sweet and caring child).  In the story, GH actively chase and court BLY.  In real life, from what we’ve seen it was ZZ that had been giving out more hints of their relationship.  How can this be??? Is this coincidental or is it something more?  Borrowing the words from papa Bai “What do young people call this? Fate.  Isn’t it fate? It’s great.”  There are some higher cosmic or spiritual powers that are tying their red strings of fate together.  To these deserving young men with hearts of gold, you both are worthy of the greatest happiness that the world can possibly offer.
