    I just finished watching the last episode and am madly in love with the love stories presented in this drama. I liked how the drama explored different kind of love relationships, whether unrequited (like Mo Yuan and Bai Qian), obsessive (like Su Jin and Ye Hua), unfated (like Di Jun and Feng Jiu or like 16th and Princess Yan Zi)... or even love that overcome all odds like Bao Quan and Ye Hua.

    Not all love relationships are perfect and not every one will live happily ever after... unless you are 4th Brother and Ze Yan. I swear they are the only Long-lasting (gay?)  couple in the show.

    Precisely. I adore JY but these JY only fans will do anything to "protect" JY... even at the expense of coming in between YZ... I hate it! I don;t want to start a fan war, but why can't they leave our ship alone?

    I understand about their drama ban and appearance ban but they cannot even be at the same place and same time? So much so that they cannot even spend private time together or be seen to Acknowledged each other...simply  cannot fathom these kind of madness.

     

    As what the last words in the MV says,  谁都不知道明天会如何，但我知道我们明天是一慢慢走过...

    I think FS really shone in this FM. He has always been rather cold in all his interviews but seeing an emotional FS really made me feel heart pain. He was truly pouring everything out. And seeing JY got so happy when the 3 walked onto the stage... you can never ever rehearse for this kind of thing. But really, I think the saddest is ZZ and it's not because I'm ZZ bias... Usually the ones who smile the most and keep their feelings inside feel the most torture. The rest of the three boys readily teared and stuff but ZZ chose to show his strong side to the audience... which means inside he's really feeling pained.

    There are two things I can think of that has resulted in the ban:

     

    1) As someone mentioned, the two boys sudden rise in popularity has been nothing short of alarming. Usually rising stars are commonplace, but to have stars rising out from a controversial theme such as BL is not what the government would encourage.... which is actually quite weird since homosexuality is actually quite commonplace in ancient China. There was the famous story of the gay emperor who cut off his sleeves so that he won't wake his sleeping lover... there's even famous classics featuring lesbianism... so frankly, homosexuality is not foreign to Chinese culture... so I don't understand why they view this as a Western liberal kind of thing. In any case, homosexuality remains taboo nonetheless.

     

    2) The boys offended some mafia in the entertainment industry. Mafia has long been known to have dealings within the industry. We've heard about how stars have to literally "sell" themselves to these people... perhaps, the boys unknowingly offended some people which has resulted in this blanket ban. It's not like China has never produced any gay themed shows before... of course, nothing was as successful as Addicted... but still, think about even older shows like Ang Lee's Wedding Banquet or Lan Yu (then again, Lan Yu was and is still is banned... though I wonder what happened to the actors...). So what I'm trying to say is that such movies have been produced and shown in Mainland China but nobody has actually really banned the actors for it!!! So could there be something more than meets the eye? Maybe. Maybe not.

     

    Anyway, if the actors are already banned in China, they should just finish filming the show. It makes no difference anyway... not that I'm not worried about ZZ and JY but seriously, as much as I want their careers to progress, but if damage is already done, then finishing with season 1 will not do any worse damage. Just saying.

    Actually I suspect additional scenes were already filmed up to the car accident... which means SH saga was already done (which kinda makes the rumours of 3 additional episodes pretty accurate). In any case, if it's just one scene left to shoot, CJD should really sit down with the boys to ask them to privately shoot the scenes overseas. At least with this scene down, season 1 would be fully complete.

    If money was an issue, i think right now it would be no problem since fans can easily contribute financially through crowd-funding. As a film-maker myself, I just find it a waste not to finish shooting that one scene which meant so much not only to us fans, but to CJD as well. For a writer to see her work unfinished, will probably be her biggest regret. I so want to fly over to Beijing right now to see what options we can offer her. With financial support from the fans, and if the actors can spare about 2-3 weeks to film just that one scene, at least Addicted fans and the team behind it will finally feel justified.

     

    Anyway, this is one of my works for those who's interested to see...

    So my friend and I were discussing... you know how dark the entertainment industry is? What is someone high up there wanted to sleep with JY but because JY was already into ZZ, so in a jealous rage, this someone high up decides to abuse his power and tries to tears the two apart... which will also explain why ZZ keeps getting alot of the brunt of the entire thing... arghhh.. just me and my delulu mind...
