The cute scene of MY and SJ seems to have a lot of adlibs.
Their smiles and laughter were so genuine. Like SJK cannot imagine SHK making cute faces at him. AND WHY DID HE LOOK AWAY TO LAUGH WHEN SHK/KMY DID THE AEGYO FACES?
AND THAT SURE HAD A LOT OF CUT AND EDITING DONE. LMFAO!
They probably were laughing too much when they shot the scenes.

(Here comes my unsolicited comment on the episode haha)
Just finished watching the raw video and all I can say is THIS DRAMA ALWAYS EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS. I was too skeptical with the intensity of the episode while I was still just reading the live recaps. But daaaammmn, I GOT A LOT OF GOOSEBUMPS THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE after watching the raw. From Manager Jin convulsing, to MJ getting blurred sight, to that montage of when the medic team was getting blood samples from everyone (it was shot really well), to MY saving Fatima from the police and to the last 15 minutes of the episode.
The guy playing Argus is quite a good actor. He is very convincing as a villain (that's why we're all pissed at him right now). I would actually give him credit for the added intensity of this episode.
And of course, our two main leads just always hit the jackpot when it comes to portraying through their eyes their emotions. SHK was already padded with a tape on her mouth but you could still feel the intensity from her eyes.
Those longing gazes with SJ. AND SJK!!! Oh God, I think I just saw the haunting eyes of Kang Maru, those eyes ready to kill. He killed this episode. It's hard to not let those tears fall. I missed watching SJK with those angry eyes. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SUBS.

Probably it's SJ who can see them that they are in a diff location.
Ok I gotta stop now. I am probably just going delusional with all the twists the writers are giving us.

On a happy note...
I can't imagine when MY learns where SJ used her card. She probably plans on using it on something extravagant or for other things. (I hope she learns about this when things are already light and happy.. It would be fun to watch MY's eye rolling
)

There was a lot of skinships in this episode. I really have to pause the videos or stare endlessly at the GIFs whenever they are at very close proximity with each other. They are just so comfortable "under each other's skin". (Oh wait...)
1. During the mine scene, they touched each other plenty of times like they are so used to it. I've been comparing them to the many skinships I could recall in dramas before but these scenes in DOTS were the most natural.
2. The positions of their legs in the truck. HEHEHEHE. I will just end that here.
3. When MY was waving at the trucks to hitchhike, SJ(orrrrr.. SJK) grabbed her shoulder and never let go until she saw another truck coming. I SO LOVE HOW HIS HANDS STAYED ON HER SHOULDERS (there is also movement hehe) FOR SO LONG AND SO COMFORTABLY. UGH.
4. When SJ keeps on moving his head closer to MY's during the gas station scene. And when he kissed her, his head just stayed that close to hers.
And the best part is, I did not feel any (not one bit) of awkwardness from SHK.

This drama is making me LOVE SHK so much.
She makes the most hilarious faces when she's embarrassed. She makes me cry in heavy scenes even without her saying anything; her eyes tell all that there is to tell.
(Alright, this is me looking at that funny face she made at SJ when she was 'snatching' her phone back. HAHA. And that mischievous stare by SJ...
)

SJK looked quite nervous (...or EXCITED) in the first kiss in the truck. It was like he was surprised himself that "all right I just pulled her to me and I have got to kiss her" feels translated to... BITING OF KMY/SHK's LOWER LIP.
SHK was actually more relaxed. Then SJK followed.
Oh wait. Why am I using the actors' names? HEHEHEHE.
I wonder how many times did they shoot the kissing scenes since basing from the positions of their hands, it sure did not take only 1-2 takes.

I just wanna laugh at myself cos everybody's all giddy about episode 8, while I'm here still crying over episode 7.
I honestly was anxious of what the viewers will feel about yesterday's episode when I was just reading the live recaps (ep 7) since most (aka regular viewers or the non-fans) will probably just watch for the "romance". But I am very grateful that the episode had so much heart you would not even think about the romance for a bit. It would not bore you and make you skip some scenes cos everything seems just so important and worthy.
I cried so much. The scene after MY finally made a decision broke me. Add to that the heart-wrenching background music when they were laying down the dead bodies, esp. the manager.
Anyway...
i am totally shipping Ki Beom and the young lady doctor/nurse!!!

Regarding Daniel, he is a peacemaker doctor who left his wealth to help people. He graduated from a very reputable medical school to go into service. He is talented and great visuals. More importantly, he has a strong mentality but that gets broken down over time and then he meets YH. They come to Uruk.
Though it is not in the character bios, but in one of the episodes, did it say YH is North Korean? So then is Daniel a spy? What is a peacemaker? Is he supposed to be in organization like doctors without borders? If so, then I doubt a spy. The mystery couple that makes no sense in this plot...yet.
I sometimes have this idea that Daniel works for Argus.. Like he is an "insider" for Argus at the camp.
But I hope I'm wrong.
This is just probably me and my Western drama addiction.

Currently watching (and wiping tears off my eyes) Episode 7. I think I just graduated from my "I only want to watch OTP scenes"-kdrama phase. This episode, not even half way through, is wrenching my heart. I can't believe myself that I am watching everything from a drama since I usually skip to the OTP scenes. Everything is just so "watchable"(for the lack of word) that you cannot afford to miss anything.
Love also how it carries variations of matters/themes such as girl power (MJ-MY-Ye Hwa-Junior Doctor/Nurse), religion (the pregnant lady) and a lot more.
(will continue my late commentary after I finish watching)

I feel like a giddy grade schooler because of that scene (which I havent even seen yet.. LOL!)
If that happened to me, I would have wished/prayed/hoped to be just get eaten by the ground.

Waah! All these comments, GIFs, and photos make me feel like I already watched the ep. Those GIFs of KMY crying proves to me how versatile SHK is in acting. She can be very sassy, be comical, and be serious. She has a variety of expressions that she pulls off well
Even if I haven't seen the ep yet, I just want to say that I love that part (based from what I read) when KMY was just standing in the middle crying for the victims and reminiscing about the place and the people. It's good that she was crying because of these and not because of some other reasons (see: "clingy" - *hope I get this across and not sound mean, "i can't be without you", "please be alive", or something inappropriate for the theme of the episode). It is about how much she cares about the place and its people. Just like what SJK said, it is about humanity.

I laugh a lot whenever KMY does that face. She's done that quite a few times already to SJ. The other one I remember was when SJ was blocking her view of the army people jogging. She looked so pissed she rolled her eyes at him. LMFAO!
cannot wait to watch the subbed ep after school later (am I the only one here who's still studying - i'm already in my last few months in college

OHHH! Thank you for posting this cos this has been my ultimate concern since forever. When I watch their romantic scenes, I try to analyze whether it was shot in the latter part of the filming period cos I want to see why the gazes, the smiles and the laughter are all natural (... Is it due to them being comfortable around each other? Hihi.) This post sound like it needs to be in the shippers thread. Lol.
Also, I want to catch SJK having the cast on his hand. Cos that way I'd know it was filmed around December or November... (When they are closer or more bonded.)
