Can anyone tell me where I can find the raw episodes in hd that compatible with viki subs?
The viki subs were lot better than the youtube one, but unfortunately the timing was different

FYI, TMOPB is listed as one of highest cost production in cdrama, each episode cost nearly 6 million yuan ($871,000) to produce, which adds up to about 300 million yuan for the entire series, so it was BIG production with more star studded in casts. (I still can find the exact number for PB though, i'll update if i find it, or some of my peers can update) The scale of production is obviously bigger than PB, which is only a webdrama platform.
Another thing , PB was made due to fans requests, added the problem about the rights which already bought by other people/company (the actress who play Jiheng now in PB), the original casts were also not Reba and Vengo, but Zhu Xudan as Bai Fengjiu while Joe Xu was considered for the role of Dong Hua, so you can see they originally planned to make PB only as idol romance drama (target market for younger-ish audiences).
They finally cast Reba and Vengo, again, because fans demands. Looking through history of the production, I can understand that the production team decide to cater fans and give fans what they want by following the book to the nit as much as they can...
I'm just happy that the production team gave the fans what they want.
Same lead actors, storyline follow the novel 85%, and personally I think the cgi & costume is good enough comparing to some other drama. (altough sometime I think DH White wig was not good enough)

I always watch cdrama on a marathon mode, so I was saving this drama for later.
But after checking the ending , I'm sorry but I'll give it a pass. From what I read about the lighting, editing & so on , I will still give it a chance like I gave general & I ( which I actually ended up enjoying it & fangirling Wallace chung )
I can stand horrible editing & mediocre actor/actress, but I loath unclear ending ( this is not anime for god sake). Why make a only half from an already finished source? The viewers spent hours only to receive halfbaked product ?
Sorry for my ranting, just wanted to express my dissapointment.

I saw some character poster for the movie version. Gosh, does the budget all went into the costume ???
It's way over the top !!! especially Zheyan, it feels like a circus on my eyes
Hoping for this movie not going to end up only being pretty visuals with no substance like many chinese movies lately.
