    Today while i was doing  facial treatment at this beauty parlour. They put on the instrumetal ver of the song that guhai sang from teresa teng. Wht a coincidences and it brought up so many memories of the boys. I remember that i always get so happy when i watch addicted. Throughout the whole song, my mind was playing out those lovely guhai/bly scenes:wub: from that drama while getting my face treated.

    My friend told me about the post wedding stuff but she won't divulge more about it because it's very dirty, even dirtier than any smuts in the novel, that it's hard for her to summarise it. She just told me that after the wedding the two of them played "games" with their friends. She said it's some kind of Chinese tradition to play games before heading to "bed". I think I remembered Luoyin's dad playing game with Auntie Zhou during their marriage ceremony. So she said it's a dirty game where the couple has to imitate sex position in front of their friends lol. I don't know how this can be dirty but she said it's very dirty and doesn't want to discuss this further with me :sweatingbullets:

    Also, I wonder, who attended their wedding? Did their family come?? All of them???? GH's dad even?

     

    To me the wedding scene is very long, i feel like i dozed off more than twice while reading it. CJD wrote the whole process in detail, i can't imagine how long she took to perfecting this whole scene. I mean even when i wrote a short fanfic, it took me weeks to finish it,

    1) From production perspective, they are filming an Asian BL series. The leading actors need to show some kind of affection toward one another otherwise the act will look dry. The boys did this splendidly, imho.

    2) From marketing perspective, they need to sell the series and one of the marketing tricks is to keep the affection among the actors as fan service. The classic line will be: "oh, we are straight but close buddies now; we continue being friends; etc."

    3) BUT! Still from marketing perspective: the actors can not commit themselves too much to each other. An idol committed to relationship is boring because the fans can not imagine themselves to go between the established relation. Thus, they have to maintain a certain level of ambiguity.

    4) There is also the question on how much the actors want to keep their private life, well, private. 

    5) Fans' expectation is hard to be maintained and this is related to #3 above. We want to see something about Johnny/Zhouzhou but if they come clean, whether they are in relationship or not, we might get disappointed either way. I think fans are thrilled with "the possibilities", not with "the certainties". Look how the ban, which made the future of Addicted uncertain, catapulted the series into its present fame :D 

     

     

    But if me, i think i will be very happy if they are in relationship. I mean the way that they are together now already make me smiling at them fondly but if they are together maybe i will be grinning very wide for the whole day. :D

Not knowing that such simple words could bring GH in tears and how long he's been waiting for that. The confirmation that he want and need this whole time.

    Another one cause i have no one to share this with and forgive me if this is wrong or incorrect (correct me if im wrong) because i decided to rebel against my mom when she ask me to continue Chinese in high school but because the teenager me at tht time thinks that its lame to take it and most of my friends are not into it so i drop it. (Why teenager me???  Why??) Hence, resulted to rusty Chinese.

    As i was reading  book2 up to their wedding ceremony, i was amazed with CJD use of symbolic number for  their wedding ceremony, For example, the number 9 is used in this marriage scene. If i am not mistaken,in china or chinese people they like to use the number 9 cause if translated it means long also can be taken like having longer life,longer happiness depends on how or what the situation is which is in this case i guess longer everlasting love / marriage perhaps(?). So 99 cycling team consist of beauties and 999 people that consist of the wedding entourage and  GH himself cycling to meet BLY.

    Another one that make my weak heart can't take it is in this sentence ，今天，我们1314个人齐聚于此，共同见证他们一生一世的爱 情 which translated into Today, we have 1314 individuals attend this wedding  to witness their everlasting / eternal love. The number 1314 if translated is a whole lifetime / forever / timeless. Like they used to have this code which is 1314520  when translated it stand for Forever, i love you. I'm like how sweet is this 1314 guest, like the pun is there and the wedding mc is good at it too when mention it. 

    Excuse me, while i cry in the corner :bawling:

    Omg, i had to rant here.

    WARNING

    Book 2 and poor translation and grammar ahead.

    There is one scene in the book where BLY told GH that he dream that GH got into car accident and the ground was covered with blood and he freak out. (I guess GH accident hurt him so badly that he still dream about this)  GH comfort him by saying that it is just a dream and im still here. BLY hug(?) tightly GH  and said "Da hai, my life now is a gift from you and if it is not because of you, i will be dead by now.":bawling:  GH reply "Its ok, its in the past now." BLY told GH that he will and want to be someone that GH can count on to / he want to be responsible to GH till the end of his lifetime, GH was touched and look into BLY face and stared at his eyes "how are you gonna be responsible for me?" BLY  grab GH hands and told him in a serious tone/face expressions "I want to marry you". GH swallowed his breath, "Marry me, ok? :bawling:  But BLY was drunk when this happen so GH ask him to rest and marriage is not an something that can be done without proper planning /thinking. BLY get mad say "You dont want to marry me? You think my family poor? (Lol, drunk LY) But GH say no and BLY make GH promise to marry him and GH promise that he will. 

     

    I wish someone can translate the whole books..
