I am a big fan of Park Shin-Hye and I've seen all her works! But I've got to say that this drama is her best work!!! Her acting really shines in here...especially the scene when she's holding back her tears while talking to Kim Rae-won..they have such good chemistry together onscreen! I'm looking forward to the development of the plot itself!! I can't wait for tonight! Kudos to the writer and director also!! The story and cinematography are so damn awesome and flawless, I cry everytime I watch an episode!! Can't wait for their long awaited reunion! I'm sure the ratings will increase!!!

first of all....PUTANGINA! Oh sorry, I just had to curse in my native language...I just couldn't take it, the way they're treating junghwan's character--it just went all to waste, while it was amusing to see junghwan dealing with his love problems with himself...WHAT THE richard simmons JUST HAPPENED.....The writer didn't give Junghwan the opportunity to have someone as a confidante, a friend who he can open up to, I'm guessing that SHOULD be DR but I don't know what the hell happened....He kept it bottled up...once he knew TK had feeling for DS, he backed out, although he 'confessed' years later, it was dismissed as a joke...I can't even start to imagine the pain or more so the agony (more fitting) that he's going through right now...JH and DR had superb characters but IDK what happened...
-suddenly remembers JH crying inside the car-
How much more will you make him suffer? I still won't give up!

damn...if it's not junghwan...then I just hope the next reply series will be all about him and his love life..I need a proper closure
And imo jungpal's scenario is worse than chilbong...if being jungpal-ed is 10 then being chilbonged is probably 7.5-8
I just wish junghwan would share his feelings of sadness with me...I swear RJY's character is the best~how could Shin-PD do this to him? And there were unresolved "clues" and "events" in the past also...how did tk know the postcards, what happened with the chocolate? the gloves? the manitto thing?
Now, now, don't get me wrong I'm actually a hardcore fan of PBG, I've followed him since wonderful mama haha, but actors are actors, and the characters are like a separate entity...I love PBG but I love RJY's character more (I was actually his fan since his role in socialphobia, you guys should watch it~)

It really kinda feels weird....well, I was team yoonjae and team trash so I didn't really know the feeling of being disappointed in a Reply series. However, with today's episode, I felt frustrated and kinda pissed off (well, I am really pissed off)...can't really blame Taek coz Junghwan's the one who surrendered first. But I really still think it's Junghwan though...although it may seem late and overly rushed, I just want him to be aware that them meeting at the bus wasn't an accident, and the other times that deoksun actually tried to flirt with him but to no avail.
The feeling really is kinda awkward and weird since it was like the series was mostly focused on junghwan's perspective, so I thought it was the husband telling the story in the interview plus, the 2 kisses between tk and ds had a gap of 5-6 yrs so we hadn't seen the development of deoksun's feelings at all...it was too sudden...

Well, these are just guesses...this is the team eonamryu version, truthfully, I also have a "Taek as endgame" version of this lol
I can't stop thinking abt the possibilities!
My guesses for episode 19
1. scene where taek talks to junghwan - I really think that Taek went to JH to talk about taek's confession to deoksun and that deoksun hasn't replied...junghwan was seen smiling in the preview bcs he was trying to show taekie that he doesn't really have a care that taek confessed,...that it's all about deoksun's feelings, and I bet junghwan's gonna be in self-denial mode...
2. sung-appa apologizing - it was probably bcs he's sorry because he thinks he is a failure as a father. Remember the time when eomma said that early retirement isn't an option about sung-appa,and now that sung-appa's gotten older, and sickly...I'm guessing he'll not be able to fulfill the promise that he will be working until his children get married...he'll probably get an early retirement.
3. deoksun and her stewardess chingu- I think they're talking about the lee seung hwan concert that DS attended with TK..I think it'll go like this:
Friend: Did you go to Lee Seung Hwan's concert?
DS: Yeah, I went.
Friend: Huh? But the guy wasn't able to come right? So you attended the concert alone?
DS: Ah, no...I was with a friend
Friends: Friend?
DS: I've been friends with him for 20 years...
Friends: heol, 20 years? Aren't you guys dating?
DS: We're just friends...
4. Mi ran eomma crying- Well, pregnancy is possible...however, I think it's more likely abt her menopause (can't really guess, I'm confused also) Most often women get mood swings during their periods right? And even more so if a woman's approaching the menopausal period haha...
5. Teary eyed Taek with DS- This is probably DS reply to Taek's confession. And I think this is when she will reject Taek saying that all this time, she thought of Taek only as a childhood friend, nothing more, nothing less.
6. DS getting angry with SW and DR getting a phone call- Well, it just means everyone has now found out SW and BR's relationship haha

basically BR and SW's marriage is a sealed deal already right? And Taekie is now SW's brother...
Is it allowed in Korea to marry the sibling of your brother's wife?
bcs taek and deoksun are gonna be siblings in law IF bora and sunwoo do get married with each other

After watching the raw...I think it's because I read the recap first..but really...junghwan's confession didn't indicate that it was a joke...It was dongryong and sunwoo who dismissed junghwan's confession as a joke..junghwan just told them off, "Is that enough for you?" but the guys just laughed and misinterpreted it as a joke...
can't wait for the next episode!

I used to be a silent lurker in this thread...however, my love for junghwan is just too big!
I was really really sad with how junghwan confessed, and how he must've thought that it was hopeless for him...And how DR and SW easily accepted his confession as a joke...come on, I know that DR and SW didn't see his lovely actions towards DS howevar, DR being a sharp and observant person, there must've been times when he has seen JH staring lovingly at DS....
btw, I really love it how writer-nim developed JH's character throughout the series, I love it how his character is more developed than DS

Many many thanks to the recappers! I can finally sleep peacefully!
Honestly, this episode was quite lacking...however, i think it's bcs they just need to develop the story at hand first. Hopefully, it's gonna get better next week! I'm shipping them so hard!!
