[[Mainland Chinese Drama 2021] Novoland: Pearl Eclipse 九州·斛珠夫人]

Posting here for the first time because I love the show! The ending also made me wonder about the mystery behind why some of the Fang lineage managed to live a few years longer than the king before they die.

Perhaps these exceptional baixi cases all ended their baixi relationship w the current king. But had to reinstate their baixi relationship a few years later to save the newborn successors assuming infant mortality rate is high during their times and unfortunately had to die on behalf to keep the newborn successors alive. Hence they did live longer than the kings but only a few more years longer. Just an assumption :)

I was wondering.. From my memory Park Bo Gum seems to always act as a second lead. Maybe reply 1988 is his first drama as the first lead actor? It will be pretty cool if this is true cause while searching for DS husband we are also searching for the first lead. PBG plays the role of second leads well so maybe PDnim is riding on PBG second lead acting to trick us. 

Anyway, I have more hopes now that TAEK may really be DS husband. Because ep 18 was titled 'goodbye my first love', and this ep has noticeably more scenes for JH than TAEK. Plus JH even confessed as if looking for a closure for himself. TAEK on the other hand is progressing, nothing similar to first love farewells. 

And I remember reading somewhere that the director said there will be no husband hunting this series. Although the hunt is definitely evident, maybe he meant it in another way - there will be no tricks on the husband hunt unlike the past 2 series. So maybe everyone can really just relax and forget about the fact that the Director was such a troll the previous series and just accept that the story is really moving into DS and TAEK?

Haven't posted here before but I've been reading all along! When the drama started off, I really thought TK was just a additional sidekick to round off the plot. Turns out he's a larger position in the show and also in my heart 

I havent watch ep 15 yet, because I'm waiting for 16 & 17. But knowing that there will be a time leap makes me anxious because things can really go in complete different directions. In my opinion, here are some possible scenes that may steer this ship in extreme ways (good/bad):

1. TK dating DS in 1994 (it can either mean they will break up eventually n DS marries JH or that they break up but eventually realize they can't do without each other( 

2. TK dating other girls (either for the sake of JH, or that he's developing his mysterious side. But if he's dating other girls it means he will 90% be DS husband!) 

3. JH dating other girls (this just brings us to a 180degrees turn around because JH is apparently not well received by girls but he's grown into a mature man so anything is possible! It also puts him into the running for the most possible husband) 

4. All the guys picked up smoking (confusing viewers is the life motto of the PDs, so why not?) 

5. SW & BR breaks up (does that put SR back into the running for DS potential husband? But younger sister marrying unnie's ex boyfriend doesn't seem to be so likely) 

6. Another 2015 scene showing DS hubby using right hand (There's just so many ways TK husband possibility can plummet, it makes me nervous) 

 

im sure there are many other ways for the plot to have drastic changes, but here are some of the scenes that I can actually imagine airing in my over-thinking brain.  I'm just really concerned about TK. >.<
