can you show a picture please. the purple looks really hot

Sure thing~ It's not very impressive, but it does the job.

Here's also the same type of thing I did with Copper pigment...It looks more like gold, though... It's much more brighter in person, but the camera doesn't do it justice...

yeah, I don't know why I thought lining the bottom with silver would be good with gold/copper... Oh well, I'll just remember to use gold on the bottom next time....

one of the points i was trying to prove:

if you had shown your eyebrows, we would have been able to know if you really were "trying" to open your eyes really wide. reason why they probably look wider than they might have been is cause since we dont see your eyebrows, we dont know the distance between your eyebrows and eyelids so we assume its a shorter distance...(bigger distance between eyes makes eyes look smaller...)

...u know what? i'll post a picture to prove it (one with an eyebrow and one without)

yeah, i noticed the same. its hard to tell the real size without the eyebrow in the picture.

I dont know if i should just post this here, or make a new thread.. But ill just post it here ..

I got a personal request for a Smokey-Eye tutorial, so here it is.

Pre Make up.. Post Make up.. This is the look.

picture566ya8.jpg

First, you should start with a clean face. Moisturize too.

Add concealer and whatever skin-booboo routine you have.

picture028th4.jpg

TIP: Add water on your sponge if your concealer looks cakey. Adding water will make it more sheer & natural looking. I recommend only using concealers/foundation where you need it (like under the eyes and nose instead of your entire face). Also, do NOT SMEAR it onto your skin with your applicator. You should "push" it into your skin in a dab dab dab motion.

The eyes.

1st picture). Get a soft smudging eye pencil and draw a line. Then, gradually move higher and higher while decreasing pencil pressure. Open your eyes from time to time to see how far you should go & what would look best.

2nd picture). Using a brush, grab some Covergirl eyeshadow in Mink. It's a bronzey, brown color with shimmer. Apply to the inner V first. Then apply to the outer V, and work to blend it into the liner.

Go back and darken the liner close to the shadow with Black Velvet.. Then add a touch of it just below the lower lashes.

picture135ry8.jpgpicture243fk3.jpg

TIP: I recommend using a brown/black liner because it's not as harsh as black. Usually using black on single eyelids makes you look harsh, and your eyes may look smaller.

Next, you will be adding a highlight. I'm using Covergirl Eyesticks in Glistening Gold for this.

Apply it in the area i drew, and also apply it to your waterline.

After that you should go back with Dream:Ivory Illusion and go over the rest of your lid with it.. blend too.

The second picture is how it should look.

picture243bgt8.jpgpicture362vl4.jpg

1st picture). Next.. Curl lashes and apply mascara!

This is how it should look so far eyes opened. (dont leave mascara smudges like mee! hehe)

2nd picture). Then come LIPS. Line them with Rush Nude, and put some concealer on them. Then go over it with lipgloss.

picture306aw4.jpgpicture050si0.jpg

Tip: When curling the lashes, get REAAALLY close to the root and pump (squeeze & release repeated) your curler until you reach the end. Dont press too hard, it'll make your lashes look like a backwards " L "

Also, when applying mascara do not pump the wand because it makes your mascara dry out.

Get it real close to the root and wiggle it from side to side and pull to the ends. Also when applying, giving a light touch to the skin will make the lashes look fuller.

Cheeks.

Follow the grid! The bronzer should be in the hollow of the cheeks. The blush should be on the apples of the cheeks.

blend fully and soften the color

Thanks guys :) i'm glad you like it.

I'm not sure if Eyeko is available in Canada, but its good for lengthening.

My eyelashes are already pretty long so i just use the Almay mascara for volume and use Eyeko on the inner lashes where they are short.

I checked the website and i think they're only available in korea, us, uk, and taiwan. You could probably find it on Ebay or something though.

I bought mine at Sephora if you guys have that.

i have single eyelids too! i usually put eyeliner and eyeshadow blended or just eyeliner to make my eyes bigger

and less plain. i used to draw out my eyeliner longer and curl the ends and i also put eyeliner at the bottom but it made me look very fierce lol.

so now i'm back to eyeliner at the top without any at the bottom.

i think single eyelids are stylish in their own way. i see lots of girls in here who look so pretty with single eyelids and are rockin the style good!

but i wouldn't mind trying out double eyelids lol :)

my single eyelids without makeup:

img]http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/8831/1009047nk9.jpg

my eyes with makeup:

Honestly

You look SO MUCH better without the eye makeup

I dont think you're applying your makeup correctly because it makes your eyes look less attractive.. not bigger/prettier.

and your reason in posting was.....? <_<

anyways bliss kiss i love how u did your make up.

i'm going to try it out now

it was to show my love for single lids, duh. lol...seriously. =) sorry if it was offensive?? anyways my double lids don't make a difference on me because my face isn't that great looking in the first place.

i've noticed one thing for certain, most single-lidded girls have beautiful shaped faces.
