in LSIH -- love scene was tastefully done -- artfully/cinematically done -- there was a bed scene but the act itself or anything like it was done creatively -- only shown was their hand clasping (like you know when you're making love and reaching the heights
) -- and feet touching -- bare shoulders and all that -- and of course the kissing -- you know how KTH's acting was heavily criticized all her career life in Korea -- commonly she was referred as a pretty face but can't act really well -- but in my own opinion acting alongside KRW in LSIH -- I appreciated her acting -- she was good there -- but as years went on -- yes not much growth or improvement on her part -- so I think somehow KRW contributed big on her performance -- because he was good -- she brought her A game as well ---

as for KRW eyes (it was a topic here awhile ago
)--- as what was said on LSIH -- there was a line in the drama that was said by KTH Dad --- "he got honest eyes" (reason why he like HYUN WOO for his daughter) -- and I agree KRW really has honest eyes -- hence even his eyes can evoke emotions ---
some lines in drama --the description of a certain character have to coincide/fit to that of the actor --- and I think they did so with KRW --
for there was also a scene there -- drunk KTH with LEE JUNG JIN the actor -- he was carrying a drunk LEE SOO IN on his back -- and KTH's character was saying all those things he missed about KRW's character -- like how he always carry her on his back etc etc --- but one of the things I remember was -- "and when he smiles -- he got 3 lines on his eyes -- " which we all know KRW has it and we call it now as "wisdom creases"

fight scene at hospital --- yes! -- we all laugh about it -- people working in the hospital alike -- for it cause MORE LIABILITY to the patient -- it created a chaos and a not safe environment for the patients --- but then again we just thought -- Korean series sometimes don't pay attention to those --- they are more into making the series aesthetically beautiful --- imagine all their clothes are new and pretty -- even house clothes -- even poor people who don't have money -- clothes still look good and new
-- and their hair would always be well done -- rarely do they seem rumpled and haggard -- --------------------------------------------------
the scene that I kept on replaying would have to be KRW and LSK --- it was executed well by KRW -- his tone and his line delivery -- even his emotion was so right -- his actions him using his fingers trying to make his point clear -- even the drama line was correct (korean standard)
-- "it was an awake surgery -- patient can hear you -- it does not bode well for the patient and him/team if we don't work as one -- yadda yadda"
a subordinate talking back to the superior like that (in JH/KRW room) -- and even in the middle of the operation -- what went on there -- but what happened in the room when JH called SW -- the way he explained and talk to her -- it was mild at first -- he was being patient but firm -- but when she started to get bratty about it -- when she told JH if it was HJ would he have done the same and when SW answered back "forever" --- that's the time KRW got mad -- yes he would do the same to HJ and yes if this is how she thinks - then there's no hope for him changing her mind -- and making her see reason -- hence in the end he said "you're out of my surgeries for now."
if that happened here in the US -- no way a superior would be that lenient and patient especially when it will compromise a patient --
also there was the other scene that I like -- when KRW had LSK join back on his surgery -- when they were washing their hands --- he told her "aren't you going to greet me? (her head surgeon) " -- and when he continued on to say "don't forget I am your teacher/professor" --- his tone -- voice inflection was on point -- and his body expressions as well as his eyes --- I love this scene -- a reminder for her to respect his position -- no matter if you are close or are friends or whatever --- learn how to separate things ---
same with JH and HJ -- when he told her -- talk to me -- or reason to me like a surgeon -- don't feed me lines like a gf/lover would do --- though it was short-lived and a passing dilemma -- but it has made a great point --
and the rest of JH and HJ sweet moments ---

from period pieces which are long series (JUMONG was the longest one for me -- I kept rooting for IL KOOK and HAN HYE JIN characters to end up together -- just because she helped and saved him she was a one tough cookie on there -- but in the end their love came into nothing -- what a letdown -- LOL!) and into lighter ones --- oh wait and dark ones too -- I should not forget to mention their movies as well --
KIM RAE WON was the first korean star I was exposed to (MY LITTLE BRIDE) hence I LOVE him and after that I watched all his works -- next was JUNG WOO SUNG -- I cried watching A MOMENT TO REMEMBER and from there I watched all his movies -- and the rest is history --

funny -- I just have to share this ---
I live here in the US --- my friend who is a guy -- half chinese --- who's a nurse by the way -- in our friends message chat room -- he suddenly blurted out that in his FB timeline -- DOCTORS updates kept on popping up --- he just told us that in the chatroom -- none of my friends knew that I was into asian series -- so I was the only one who replied -- told him I am watching that show --- he told me that his friends timelines are filled with DOCTORS stuffs and they were going gaga over it -- he was asking me if it was any good -- told him yes -- and he should watch it just to see why his friends have that on their timeline -- by the way he was talking about his korean friends -- they told him that they find it refreshing -- he asked me why they said such -- and I told him the usual plot/story and subplots for korean series --
and I just went to KCON too (Aunt duties) -- I heard people talking about DOCTORS as well --- what I find fascinating was -- yes they compared it to DOTS -- and somehow they have this to say -- DOTS was popular because they got good-looking people on there --- can't say I disagreed on that -- for I have seen SONG JOON KI personally by chance --- I was at a korean restaurant with a friend -- and lo and behold came SJK with his friends (man and woman with a baby -- so I would assume man and woman were husband and wife) -- their table is across from us -- boy oh boy! -- SJK really has this pretty face -- his skin is just WOW!! -- he was dressed simply (white shirt/jeans/cap) -- I pretended I didn't know him --- because nobody bothered them -- but I took pictures in secret -- oh and he got a SB coffee cup and what's written on the cup as his name was SONG --
anyways I digress -- but yes --
DOCTORS fever is everywhere here in CA ---

I have my opinion you have yours -- I am old hence I have no patience ...... ----
if I say I find her lacking in acting in her past series -- then I find her lacking --- you can't make me say otherwise -- it's like what may be beautiful to some may not be beautiful for some -- what may be deemed bad by some some would not be deemed bad by some -- what may be delicious to some may not be delicious to some --- that is just how life is -- everybody have a different take on everything ---
I like PSH -- and I like her more now because I can appreciate her MORE as an actress ---
if I say I find being with KRW makes her a better actress -- am I not entitled to say that? it is MY OPINION -- not yours or anyones else BUT MINE - I can be subjective/objective about it --- I am not saying it to influence anybody or ask everybody to agree with me -- I am saying it as just -- I am sharing my opinion -- I don't insist my opinion on anyone --- so I would appreciate it if you RESPECT people's opinion here --- and just in case it missed you what an OPINION is -- go pick up a dictionary --
there are really people out there that can BRING OUT THE BEST in US -- and that's the case for PSH for me -- I say in my OWN OPINION -- that being paired up with KRW and other seniors (as I have said on my post) makes her aim for the best as well --
just like I would think you bring out the worst on some people here with your forever constantly nagging about some things that should have been purely for FUN but somehow ended up like it is the finality of things her being a couple with KRW --
take a chill pill --- good for you being a realist for shipping -- if you are a realist why are you in the shippers thread then? and if you ship her with everyone - guys and girls but not seriously -- so why then you TAKE EVERYTHING IN HERE SERIOUSLY?

KS's fate is reminiscent of KRW's role in PUNCH --- KTH actor was the crooked doctor who operated on KRW ---
guess now it's KRW as JH who would operate on KS ---
but yes on PUNCH series -- KRW died on there ---
but damn! his acting on there was superb -- when he cries -- when he's bad -- when he had those seizures and delusions -- when he's being a wonderful dad --- etc etc --
there never was a work of his that I didn't watch --- he is one of those actors that gets to you --- I am so glad that he is teaching or is imparting to PSH how to be a more effective actress -- we can see on BTS that he is guiding her ---
even the way she talks -- or deliver her lines now --- it got that KRW influence -- LOL!! --- I am just saying -- in my humble opinion KRW has this ability to deliver his lines well -- the tone -- diction and feeling ---- what kind of emotion you want to evoke in the viewers just by your voice inflection alone ---
I have watched a few of PSH's works -- but I feel there was this emptiness sometimes -- it does not cut you to the bones -- maybe because the ones she were with in exchanging lines can't evoke a certain feeling out from her --- they're all young or not that experienced when it comes to acting -- hence being with KRW and some senior actors really is such a good exposure and experience for her --- somehow they bring out something in her --

i would have understand JH POV -- doctors rarely gamble on miracles --- they want the sure thing as the case of JH --- only do operations on the things they are confident the result would be good and there is high probability that patient would be able to pull through it --- why else would they ever operate if the end result would not be favorable?
it's good to finally see JH's vulnerability --- and for the upcoming episodes in regards to the hospital power battle --- please I am sure KRW was not picked to play JH just because of his charming personality and sexiness
--- but because he is PUNCH!! can't wait for him to release the beast inside of him --- -

perhaps the next cameo -- his story would center around --- between wife and unborn child -- whom would he choose to be saved? --- save the wife? or save the unborn child? -- if it comes to this ----
of course for the doctors -- they would save both if they can -- but they also have to think who have the most probable chance of surviving/living and with less complication as they continue on with life -- wife or unborn child? -- all of these have to be presented to the husband/family member ---
the possibility of choosing between wife and unborn child -- hence why JH said -- "be ready ... (for whatever)"
and this would serve as another life lesson for HJ -- bitter reality of a father/dad when confronted with such a hard choice ---

I am an ahjumma -- and my shipping days are over --- however I have been an ASIAN drama addict -- been watching korean, taiwanese and japanese series -- and what I absolutely really hate about korean actors/actresses -- they're so stiff in their movements --- hence I never got into shipping any korean stars --- and most of the time they leave me nothing but a temporary feeling of giddiness --- ah! such a disappointment --
one could notice in their kissing and hugging scenes -- just lips touching and freeze --- hands were frozen at a certain spot -- no movements -- and most of the time hands were fisted -- like really now in kissing or hugging???? -- where's the love? -- where's the warmth? -- where's the flow?--- it's so cold and calculated --- and BTS were no fun either -- all the same -- and mostly they want nothing but to get it over and done with -- the usual practice of blocking and such -- not much teasing going on --
but surprise2x --- here's KRW and PSH --- there's is that extra oomphhh --- in kissing hands are caressing and open --- in hugging there is that swaying --- and much adlibs in actions and words are going on --- reel and real --- there is a flow of movements --- unless it is much needed in the storyline like their first kiss and first hug -- PSH's character then was still wary of any feeling of love -- wary of any human relationship -- but in the BTS one can see PSH her jaw was playing bumps with KRW shoulders (first hug where she was supposed to be tight-reigned hands fisted on reel but on real BTS she was bumping her jaw on his shoulder while they are on a break and yet still hugging) (second the latest backhug BTS -- PSH smelling/rubbing her nose on his shoulder/close to armpit) -- really now? who does that? I don't recall her doing ANY OF THOSE stuffs oncam or off cam with her male partners) --- personal space please --
so yes there is that extra oomph ---- moreso with KRW -- he's just too playful -- who are you? --- but no complaints here -- my eyes like what I am seeing -- my heart goes doki-doki -- it gives me a feeling of warmth ---
let's admit it -- it leaves a smile on our faces --- so yes -- I'll take it --- and please -- to say the least -- they are atleast ATTRACTED to each other -- as to what level or how personal and how far they are willing to take that attraction? let's wait and see -- PSH have admitted to be a fan of KRW so there is that --- KRW have said before he likes small, refined and bubbly woman (this can described PSH to a T) --
so yes on how far they are going to risk it the attraction they feel? who knows --- but for the meantime enjoy the ride and the feeling they give you -- could be temporary -- could be forever ---
in my years in watching korean series there's only a few who have satisfied me in terms of this -- hence been wanting to see swaying in hugging -- been wanting to see lips and heads moving when kissing --- whenever I see couples doing all those hugging in a series -- I always yearn for the swaying and squeezing --- I mean that's what normal people do when hugging a love one -- you hug and you sway --- because there is that feeling of wanting to savor it --- of feeling comfort -- of wanting to never let go --- feeling the love -- yadda yadda ---
all those small nuances --- it is important -- after all those can be considered as something innate for humans to do when one is consumed with too much emotions e.g. love,hate. dislike, anger, admiration
something innate -- something natural -- and something spontaneous --- like the blushing and feeling feverish/hot --- those are uncontrollable -- there's no escaping that feeling --- it is a RUSH of high emotions ---
so yes -- shipping or not -- both of them got the CHEMISTRY -- and i'll take it no matter what -- for it leaves me happy and giddy and makes me want to feel romance/love ---

i don't know about you guys -- but KIM RAE WON's agency is producing DOCTOR's (but then I could be mistaken) --- so yeah -- go figure -- conspiracy theory -- on whom wanted whom or whom waited for whom -- LOL!!
as for him being a quiet guy -- yes he is --- with KIM TAE HEE -- they don't even talk that much --- initially -- the first couple of weeks -- they just stayed in their own world/van ---KIM TAE HEE even joked about it "he does not say much" ---
however -- as time went by -- they became friends -- they were constantly being paired as bride and groom on ANDRE KIM's fashion runway -- ANDRE KIM is a renowned fashion designer in KOREA -- he's dead now -- it was said that KRW and KTH were his muses -- they're the closing couple in his fashion shows -- 2 years in a row or was it 3 yrs in a row -- old videos are floating around in youtube -- 2004 to 2007
whenever KRW's movies come out --- KTH -- MOON GYEONG and other ladies he acted with always support him and they have nothing but nice words to say about him --- when JUNG DA BIN died -- KRW was seen on her wake and was sad about the whole thing -- he considered JDB as one of his best friends --- and I think KRW told KTH or was it MOON GYEONG that if they date that they have to tell him about the guy (what he wanted then was the guy has to be approved by him) --- there's a video of that floating somewhere -- one of the girls has this to say about KRW -- he really is an OPPA to all his lady friends -- and he's always been careful in his actions -- don't want it to be misinterpreted or he don't want any blurry lines --- he is careful with his skinships off cams --
as for his dating life -- he was never rumored with anybody but JUNG RYE WON (his partner in Which Star Are You From) -- it has been said that they were spotted/seen together in Australia -- that's where JRW is from before moving back to Korea --
KRW has always been aloof and careful with his actions -- that is why I am awed at the way he behaves with PSH -- there could be something there -- or there could be none --
but i am leaning on "something something" ---
as for his smoking -- as I can recall he already quit smoking -- he quit smoking because he was trying to live a healthy lifestyle -- hence all those fishing and camping trips he's so fond of doing -- whenever he has no projects -- he likes to go on a trip and just be with nature -- although as to the present who knows -- some who quit are known to not stick it the whole nine yards and could go back to smoking again ---
though apparently -- yes he became a "boring" guy according to korean standard (he does not like to socialize much -- like being in the limelight constantly -- drinking being out and about) -- hence the break up with JRW long ago (rumor -- their relationship was never confirmed) --
all in all he is a solid guy -- slightly different to korean standard though as has been said -- looks and personality -- they like them wild bad boys -- and they like them flower boys --
and yet he is HIGHLY RESPECTED in the field of acting ---

anyways...just wanted to ask if any of you have watched the GRAMMYs last night?.....on EMINEM and LITTLE WAYNEs performance....you could hear 2NE1s FIRE intro into their performance last night....the FIRE ALARM you could blatantly hear it sporadically into their performance...that was quite a shockd for me....
i have been looking in YT for EMINEM and LITTLE WAYNEs performance to share here....but if any of you could provide one...you could really hear 2NE1's FIRE SIGNATURE ALARM in their performance...
i am a big HIPHOP and RnB fan been for my whole life....and i can definitely see 2NE1 making it big in the US....they have the CHARISMA as well as the "IT/ XFACTOR" to make it big here....their song is pretty catchy in a mature way....so yeah....
that's all i have to share.....been waiting for their comeback!!.....c'mmon give it now YG!!....
