Yes. An official fan club called Hyebaragi is organizing the fan meeting. It was the very first (i believe...) official fan club of SHK but I think her previous agency closed it down when the contract ended as it was run by the agency (I'm not entirely sure but I've read this somewhere..). But the old members of Hyebaragi re-opened it on cafe daum so it's VERY active again now. I think foreigners can join as well. The post is always written in Korean but they might start writing in English as well if there are international fans (especially in their Instagram account).
Regarding your question about SHK's Korean fans, SHK does have very strong, large, and loyal fan base in Korea (as you guys are!) and we, Korean fans, deeply, truly, and sincerely appreciate the international fans for sticking by her through thick and thin. I hope there will be more projects in future where global and Korean SHK fans can gather forces together and show her the support.Regarding the video project, we need more pictures, especially from Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia since I know for a fact that there are TONS of loyal fans there. I don't think our Instagram message is reaching there... If you are from any of these countries (or others for that matter), please participate : ) We really want to make this project successful, packed with pictures from oversea, since we rarely get an opportunity to present her such support. So whether you're from Korea or Antartica, please spread this project and participate. (more info @messagekyo of Instagram or DC Kyo Gallery. Refer to my previous post for the link to DC). But when you e-mail the photo, please DO NOT FILTER or PHOTOSHOP it. Only the genuine pictures will be used in the presentation.
Also, I saw Gigi's hopeful post about the SHK's outfit that she's going to wear tomorrow for the Cultural award thingy. Sorry to break yours bubbles but this award is not a typical one where the celebrities dress in gowns and such. They always dress up in semi-formal outfit such as knee-length dress (since not only celebrities but other types of public figures get awarded as well) i so I highly doubt that she'll be wearing one of those gorgeous dresses you posted
(maybe for next time!). Yes... I was kinda disappointed when I found out this but oh well. She'll look beautiful in any outfit!

I am so disgusted with those award giving demons. Wow...What did she ever do to them to deserve this. Why do they pick on such a talented, beautiful and good-hearted person. Although I really like SJK, I am totally sad that SJK got all the recognition and she received none. I know it's not his fault but it's so heart wrenching. I now realize what a scam those awards really are. I promise to regain my positive attitude soon.

Is this another award other than Apan and SDA? I am going to flip out. What is wrong with those people!!! This is the most disgusting chain of events ever. This is so shameful, I can't even discuss it I'm so angry.

I'm so happy that people recognize how unfairly she was treated. That gives me some consolation. I hope fans support her in her upcoming fan meeting. It took me a week to get past my heartbreak for her being by-passed for the awards. Looking forward for good things to come her way. Fighting!!!

My perspective is the SIDA and APAN awards are not really prestigious in the K-entertainment. But seriously, I am more concerned about SHK taking a long break from acting. When Full House became a massive hit in Korea and in Asia, SHK should have been offered copious amount of high quality movie and TV scripts. But, she wasn't. She also didn't win any major awards. Her male co-star, Rain, became a superstar with numerous offers in Asia and US. SHK became frustrated with the lack of high quality offers and took a break from acting by going to US to study English. Simillar scenario is happening to her now. Even after the phenomenal success of DOTS, thanks largely to her incredible acting chops, I don't think SHK is being offered high caliber scripts. She hasn't accepted any new project in almost a year since the production of DOTS ended mainly, I am afraid, due to flimpsy roles being offered to her.
If people were in SHK's shoes, many would think about quit acting. But, thankfully, she is in a class of her own. She is a woman of conviction, determination, and a strong will. When the prominent Korean movie industry shakers shunned her, she went to China and worked under two of the most well-known and respected directors in Asia. She endured the public scrutiny from Hyun Bin break-up with dignity and class. She persevered through the tax scandal. Then, she told the people of Korea and Asia not to count her out by starting in the most commercially successful K drama in a decade,. She also slienced anyone who dare to critique her acting skills by just killing it as KMY...people were awed by her comic timing and her emotional scenes, .
I am really glad she is traveling and enjoying time with her friends, family, and staff. But, SHK, please just don't take too long of a break. You have the ability to turn any script into a high quality and a commercial successful drama.
I hear what you're saying but I'm sure she feels hurt. She looked so distant and alone in that instagram picture with her alone at the table. I don't think anyone gets used to being basically slapped in the face for your hard work. My heart aches for her today. I will always support her no matter what.

I feel the same way. Every time I see a mention of that award it really bothers me because not only did she deserve it but I'm sure after Baesang and SDA SHK did not feel so good about it. Just my protective motherly instincts that surface when someone has treated your child unfairly. Hopefully APAN awards will be good to her. I was able to register successfully thanks to those who posted such detailed steps.

Yes she is the best actress winner in our hearts. The people have even voted. It's sad that Baeksang people (boils down to 5 people?) seem to not recognize her talent. It's a very sad injustice.

I hope they arrive together in the same limousine. That would be so cool. It would be the culmination of a most beautiful drama and fans would certainly go crazy for that. In any event, I hope she wins the best leading actress award, the overall award and best couple with SJK. Looking forward to that event.

No one could ever replace SHK as Dr. Kang. They should have had the real Dr. Kang surprise him.

Congratulations and wishing our couple all that is good. So happy for them. I have been following her since Full House and I know that Song Joong Ki is Mr. Right for her. He has been expressing his consideration and feelings for her for a while and I know that the two will be so happy together. Even when you look at her when they are together, you can see that he is someone so special to her. Happy, happy, happy!
