what i can say about episode 1 is... you'll need to rewatch it to make sure you follow through with the multiple narratives that were laid out. i myself was confused in the process, and felt lost at some point. i'll definitely need to know the character names and familiarize them so i would know who's who is linked to specific characters, then prolly watch the entire episodes 1 & 2 again.
i'm not sure if this could get high ratings as the drama itself is a bit darker than the usual line up of romcoms and other popular genres / plotlines. but nonetheless, i'm still interested to watch this drama to the end. it's been a while since i thoroughly watched a k-drama, the last one being My Golden Life.

while there is no doubt that SC & JJ truly love each other, the fact remains that SC's nature as a mermaid makes her unfit to endure life on land. and i think the 'love/heartbeat' thing only slows down the hardening, but eventually it will still happen. i'm not sure tho if there's solid basis to their belief that love will keep them alive on land. maybe it's their own superstition in the mermaid world. lol. but this is just my opinion.
as for the final scene (the date), i think it's JJ's treat to SC before sending her off. i don't see a reason why SC will clear JJ's memory. maybe they'll separate ways for quite a while, even years, then JJ will stop being a conman ang pursue the civil/gov't position (forgot the term) or take over his dad's company, then SC will come back and be granted by poseidon to be able to live on land forever. hahahahaha. happy ending!

i think it is safe to conclude now that ND is a good guy. turns out he's the son of the noble that the past MDY had killed (as it seems). good twist!
i have a feeling it's now disclosed to ND regarding SC real identity during their convo.
is JJ sending SC away back to the ocean for her own sake? she's been having chest pains lately regardless of what JJ feels about her.

i am pretty sure it's SC who went towards JJ. SC had black coat with black fur. it was definitely her, no doubt.
the question now is,
whether JH was able to shoot JJ or someone was able to apprehend JH before he could hit JJ.
i'm hoping it's the detective (DP). please let JH die. ppali! lol
as for ND, i don't think he'll turn bad after that scene. he already had the opportunity. but he didn't betray JJ/SC.
ND is a conman. i don't think he'll be that stupid just to let his greed overwhelm him. sure, he has done attempts but i have not seen any conclusions yet to his actions. and he surely knows where he'll go if he attempts to turn things around. they've been working closely with the police.

is there an instrumental OST for the Flower of the Queen?
i know it's not listed. and this drama has only 4 part OSTs, with no instrumentals.
i'm just hoping though that maybe it's hidden somewhere in the internet, and in hangul language.
i'm specifically looking for the track with a flute/violin in it. it's that episode where ja cheol met with the female lead in the parking lot.

does anyone recognize the song in episode 4 where doctor cha was on a motorcycle ride with dr. roy?
i was able to check the full OST (various artists + bgm) but that song is not included there (edit: i double checked it, negative)
