    I think KBS should keep the show but start S4 after a hiatus with all new cast members. As much as my heart would break not seeing KJM, KJH and CTH.. Mind you,I  have been watching all seasons in real time since 2007.. I am probably one of the last few people outside of Korea that have been a fan of this show really.. I have never watched Running Man while it was at its prime.. I have always stood by 2D1N amidst all the cast changes and scandals that they have endured through the years..

    IMO, at this point, KBS should pick younger members who are willing to withstand the challenges of 2D1N. IMO, they should go back to doing the harder stuff that season 1, 2 and early S3 did.  I think the past years, the cast members have negotiated in their contracts that they do easier things since I understand that they are getting older. But sad to say, this season has run its course. I cannot see them filming without the awkwardness of JJY not being there and the enormous, disgusting scandal he has been involved in. He is such a sick person really! I cannot fathom how CTH think of him now and how he has allowed him to come near his daughters.. I am sure he is also so disgusted. He has brought shame to this wholesome show. I am sure all of the cast members have some resentment towards him now. They will all lose a part of their income because of him. How can a person who has everything ruin himself with perverted acts like this? He deserves to rot in jail!

    i can't believe it and its so saddening. I just woke up and find news of Kim Joo Hyuk's unexpected passing. Such a kind and great guy gone too soon. He has always been my favorite member and it's because of him that me and my husband got addicted to watching the show. I still watch old episodes of season 3 because he was in them. I know both his parents have passed and I think he has an older brother still living. From what I observe, though he is friendly with everyone, he is closest to Joon Young and deffconn among the season 3 members. I can still remember the friendship healing trip where he took his best friend/CEO of Namoo actors..I am sure he is super devastated..Such a shock really no one knows when you're time is done. I remember him wanting to quit smoking so badly and wanting to be healthier and now this.. 

     

    I was just wondering the cause of the accident. Because it's at 4:30 pm and it is said he rear ended another car. KJH is a good driver I wonder what caused his accident..could it be  that he had a heart attack, seizure or an underlying medical condition that caused him to hit another car.

    @mishlee Yoo Hojin's summer and fall episodes last year were "stroll in the park." They usually go hard on winter. Yoo Hojin during the first year follow the traditional 1N2D. But when he found his footing, he must've realized that the charm of this season was not just the challenges but how members interact in simple situations. You'll notice that starting 2015. Ilyong has done fun minigames that Yoo Hojin did not do. Hojin was more of big concepts, while Ilyong on the simple games. I'm looking forward to how he'll make a big project/concept. We can't forever compare him to Yu Hojin.

     the summer and fall episodes last year were easier because kim joo hyuk had an injured foot and eventually when he left in the fall they had several guests fill in while waiting for a new member. last winter they did not do anything hard at all since there were only 5 of them. and when dong gu came in the spring they did not do hard trips maybe to help him adjust to the guys.. and still up to now, he is still like a fish out of water lol.. he is not really suited for variety i think.. i guess i'm still hoping they would not steer away from their roots. and to each his/her own, i still am a fan of the show..i just wish PD ilyong comes up with original ideas and concepts and most importantly not copied from other shows :-) peace!

    btw, as i'm watching the guys take the mensa test.. how i wish JJY is there to take the test too. im curious to know what his ranking would be. i bet he's smart

    just my pov, im really trying hard to like/love PD Il yong. but imo, he needs to try to exert more effort. he has the potential to be a great PD and there's always room for improvement. he has big shoes to fill. PD Yoo Hojin was really a very good PD,  he was trained by another great PD, PD Na. he revived a dying show and brought it up to what it is today.. even in the beginning, he  (Yoo Ho jin) had better ideas for concepts and games for the show. I somehow think PD ilyong ideas are unimaginative and bland. i dont know if some of the changes are a request also from the cast members. they might be requesting that things be a little easier as they are also busy with other things. if you watch previous seasons, they really work them hard. even with the beginning of season 3, they had harder trips but lately, their trips are quite comfortable and a stroll in the park compared to 2D1N standards. I hope they give them a challenging winter training camp in the next episodes to level things up a bit.

It's not like they're given small amounts of food. Nonchalantly eating comfortably while the other guys are starving and looking over you seems way overboard. I think I've seen everyone, except for KJM, actually bother to share food with someone else though.

     If they are allowed to just share food, they will not exert effort anymore when playing games..lol

    when i first started watching 1N2D, KJM was my least favorite member.. But then after KJHyuk left the show, he is my top one favorite. Since watching S3 from the start in late 2013, i also started watching S2 then S1 in youtube during the weekday while waiting for new episode of S3. After watching all eps, I have come to realize that KJM has the kindest heart among all of them. even CTH, you can tell has the tendency to flare up sometimes or Jun Ho also can have a bad temper but KJM has always been laid back and easy going. he never complains even if he gets hurt sometimes physically or gets teased a lot because of his fool image or loses in games. he is also not a sore loser or  at least he doesn't show it when he loses in food games or sleeping games unlike defconn or JJY when they lose you can tell they sort of get pissed. both of them are very competitive. he is diligent in his work, has great variety show IQ and basically just does whatever is asked of him. he never desires to be the center of attention, he's just there doing anything he's told to do.  Contrary to his stupid fool character, i think he is the opposite. For him to be able to last 9+ years in this show, rehashing his same old pabo image in all 3 seasons and keeping himself relevant and valuable to the show and KBS, is a feat in itself.  just how many cast members have come and gone, former members who may be more talented or popular than him, even the changes of PDs through the years yet he is still in the show after all these years. I happen to remember one particular incident in S2 that proved to me how nice he was. It was when Joo Won got really upset with losing the dinner game and KJM "consoled" him. It was nothing really special but he did it in a way without judging or lecturing Joo won yet still caring for him as his junior.

    ^ ikr, when jongmin was asked if he ever saw shinji as a woman, he quickly replied that he has never thought of her that way but when shinji was asked she said she doesnt do that with family but never said she didn't.. she hesitated and gave a vague answer.. hahaha...i feel bad for shinji, i think she had feelings for jongmin at one point but got friendzoned..lol oh well i think jongmin doesnt want to mix business with pleasure :)
