There's much to be debated about SoGC's ending since they made it open for viewers' imagination. But for me, that scene where Wang So looked a lot older was 16 years after he became king and that was when Shin Yul died. He went to his secret room to finally lay Shin Yul's memories to rest including the wedding dress and the pendant. The three kids who went inside his secret room were his kids with Yeo Won. They were young because in history, Wang So and Yeo Won never had their first child until six years after he became king. In the dream-like scene which must be in the afterlife, Shin Yul had been waiting for Wang So. If we are to base it again on history, Wang So died on the 26th year of his reign. So saying sorry to Shin Yul for coming to see her in the afterlife a little late was accurate because he died a decade later than her. I think also that although Wang So was already a lonely king, he was a great one in the first years of his reign...well until Shin Yul died. That's when he went "crazy" and turned into a purging controversial king. I think that though he wasnt with Shin Yul in those 16 years, she gave him a reason to do great things because he after all sacrificed being with her to be a great king for the people. Shin Yul, though not physically with him remained to be Wang So's light for as long as she was alive. Oh but, that's just how I see it. Wish they made the ending less vague.

I noticed that too. Really wish he takes good care of his health coz he looks so thin these days. I thought that after FTLY had ended, he'd regain all the pounds he lost but to my disbelief he has gotten even thinner. He needs to rest indeed!

I can take it if it is a movie ..but a drama with 20 episodes right after her strong chemistry with Jang Hyuk and the awesome FTLY.. I can't ..really =((

i'm watching their previous drama SSOBG, and i'm still in ep 12..indeed, they looks so young back then, not much changed on JNR, but JH looks so different .if i'm not watched FTLY, i would never know he acted in SSOBG cuz i never know/ heard about that drama before , maybe it's quite hard to me to recognize him as jang hyuk..lol..dont misunderstand me,,i told you he is still handsome back then, but idk,,he more looks like jang geun suk in my eyes..lol, especially in this gift..

even though in SSOBG their interactions are lack of skinships, but still i can really feel their chemistry, and more praises for their actings, indeed they are such a great actor/actress..love them

So happy this thread is still super active! Thanks guys for keeping our beloved Suk's thread alive. Suk's birthday was celebrated by many of the fan groups which made me even happier. I bet he felt how much his fans love him. That kiss from last episode was everything! I super loved it. I've been watching it now on repeat mode for days. Haha. It gave me the same excitement as the locker room kiss in JI. Hyeri definitely responded well to Suk's kiss and it showed onscreen. It was so beautifully done. Sweet, romantic, passionate, hot! Ayeee! Can't get over that kiss. Suk is indeed the kiss master. I also wish to see a bed scene in the future. Oh my, I can't even imagine how it'll be like. Based on that last kiss alone, seems like these two are passionately in love with each other. I can't wait for that moment!!!
