  1. The Ending Of "Empress Ki" Brought Viewers And Ha Ji Won To Tears Not only did viewers cry when the final episode ended. So did Ha Ji Won and the other members of the cast. "We finished filming this morning and I returned to the dressing room to put down my costume and crown," said Ha Ji Won. "When I faced the cast and crew that I worked with for nine months it made me cry. We just cried without saying anything." Nine months is a long time to work together on a drama. The cast and crew began working in the sweltering heat last August and worked through a long hard winter. "We went through a lot of tough times, but never once did the smile fade from their faces," she said. "The energy they radiated is what made this drama." The drama was very special to her and she admits to worrying about every detail of her portrayal. "It was one of the toughest and saddest dramas I ever had to do," she said. "I realized that as time passed and I couldn't stop my eyes from watering, that I understood her." And thanks to her performance, so did viewers. "I am so grateful to everyone who watched the drama," she said. Although the actress has said that it will be difficult to let go of Seungnyang, whom she has lived with for the past nine months, she will only take a short break before moving on to her next project, the film "Chronicles of a Blood Merchant." 2. just try to understand why TH killed WY (forget about the crazy writer)

I think like others said WY will not tell others about MAHA story, why TH need to kill him.  But don't we forget that he may unintentionally tell others like what had happened. How did the maid and DK will find out about MAHA, if only WY and the gang had been more careful, that killing would not have happened.

Is TH the only one to blame here for what happened?

I don't care if all the baddies were killed off but why WY and his devoted and faithful men? WY's part is very similar to Frozen Flower, so sad and pathetic endings..
Reading yr spoilers I suspect Goltha must have put down the seal to appoint the distant cousin as Emperor thinking that TH is going to die BUT unfortunately TH surviived? (Believe he ruled Yuan for 30yrs.. )

What if everything Ki has done in the last few episodes has been a plan to regain TH's trust?  Although she loves him, but she can't trust that he will always love her, nor can she trust that he'll be able to be a good ruler.
Ki realizes that the only way to guarantee her and Ayu's safety, and for TH not to leave her is to have TH's trust.  Once she gets TH's trust back, she can use her influence to have TH make decisions based on what she wants.
No matter how much Ki does for TH, if it's not in line with what he wants, it's wrong, and everything that Ki has done would be a waste.
Could the scene in EP 49 be a set up, Ki knew that TH would come see her so she deliberately made those prayers for him so he can hear her?
Ki returning all the administration back to TH as if she doesn't want all those powers anymore was just a move to show TH that she doesn't want to control anything, but really it's just to have him trust her more?
Obviously if that's her plan, it did work as we see near the end of EP 49 TH started to listen to her again and introduced a currency reform.

  5. I think one thing that TH did try to please SN is a promise to let WY go. That's why before the coronation scene, the maid comes in and tells her that King Wang Yoo has left for Koryeo. It likes to tell her that TH kept his promise. Btw, about Eagle organization, it looks so stupid. Anybody can just put on the mask and pretend to be ML like WY and the gang did.

  6. About WangGo, may be the writer will not make it as a big deal.

May be WangGo just has nothing to do (should be quite old now) and happen to hear that SN, the girl who was once under his supervision for many years will become an empress of Yuan, so he just want to go see whether she is really his old subordinate.  And then he met JC on his way.  If I were him, I would do the same.

Btw, I want to ask him about his secret of youth (maybe need to ask DK also)?

    :)) :)) :))
  7. Just thinking about those who still survive from the tragedies in EK drama, especially our main actors and actresses, how do they feel about what had happened and will happen. Don't they feel stressed filming day by day? I don't know about the ending but hopefully the writers will give us more relaxing scene otherwise we all may have to go see the psychiatrist. :)) :)>- :)>- :)>-

  8. Apologies if this has been shared already... Thanks @deagorr for Ep 47 Text Preview Ta Hwan who has been suffering from nightmares barely regains his senses, Seungnyang looks at him in pity. With a pained heart, Wang Yoo watches over Maha and offers his heartfelt words of comfort. To inform TaHwan of Baekahn's tyranny, Seungnyang goes with Ta Hwan to the beggar's village, but Ta Hwan suddenly faints... Source: http://mbcinfo.imbc.com/index.aspx

  9. The reason why I watch EK is because I like HJW and want to relax after work but the thing is I'm felling stressed after watching those last couple episodes.

There must be some reasons why the writer did this but I just think he really makes it goes too far, even based on historical story or his own imagination.

Anything we could do to make him or MBC realize what happened and change the way he's doing thing, for those last six episodes? or we can just stop watching it:)
