Hi guys! Not entirely new in Soompi but new to the Goblin thread. I'm honestly loving it. It has an intriguing plot and a good chemistry between the leads. As much as I want to rattle on why I'm enjoying this show much, I came here for more intriguing theories. Specifically because of all the those surrounding Deok-hwa. I wasn't really convinced that he was God or another deity but then I stumbled upon this post (not on twitter) stating that Samshin Grandma speaks formally to Deok-hwa. I'm not entirely sure if she does though. Can someone confirm?
Added to that was the whole journal translating thing. I screenshot the episodes where the journal appeared. One where Eun-tak first found it, another where Shin first wrote and narrated the journal entry, and lastly Eun-tak's copy of the entry which she handed to Deok-hwa to translate. I placed them inside the spoiler tag for better organization. I had to double check but they contained the same writing. As we know, the journal entry talks about Shin asking for death and the gods not hearing his prayers but when Deok-hwa translates it he says it is a love letter. He then proceeded to recite Shin's promise to tell Eun-tak his feelings in verbatim ("After 100 years, on a good enough day. . .").

It makes no sense for DH to know exactly what Shin wanted to tell Eun-tak. Shin has never spoken this out loud. This has been his prayer to God (or to the heavens) to let Shin tell Eun-tak that she was his first love. Unless DH is some sort of god or something other than a human being, there's no way he could have known. There have been other instances, like DH buying the book Eun-tak placed the maple leaf on, him renting the mansion to Grim Reaper, and the butterfly ski-resort scene with DH voice-over. They look like just small coincidences or just plain nothing really. But after reading the theories, I can't help but wonder if there's something more to DH character.

Sometimes I just want to explode with anger because of all the hate our ship is getting but then I watch again Hologram and everything mellows out. Yong Hwa and Shin Hye are close and amazing friends and they are slowly becoming less afraid of showing their friendship.
Still can't get enough of Shin Hye saying: "He told me to come. And it's not just anyone, but it's for Yonghwa"And Yong Hwa kept calling her: Shinhye-ah

It seems our ship always give us something to talk about every year. I mean not just coincidental photos or incidents but actual moments we see. Last year, it was the video of Shin Hye supporting CNBLUE and Yong Hwa talking about how they can't show their friendship openly. Of course, there are also the baeksang awards moments.
For our ship, there interactions and them showing the world of their friendship openly (especially after Heartstrings) are always a big deal because we all know how conscious they are of the haters/antis. Though you can see they are still hesitant in showing some (friendly) affection, it is still progress
Seeing them together and interacting with one another after such a long time bring so much joy! And the fact that most of the knetizens reacted positively is also plus. Good luck to Yong Hwa on his solo debut. Good luck to Shin Hye on her future projects. Fighting Dooley Couple!! Fighting!!

They should have grown past 50 not 30. They always kept on missing their chance and to see them finally together after such a long wait broke my heart. And the reunion was such a tearjerker!

Honestly I don't know if I should be happy that they released the photos so I can be prepared than be surprise when they air the episode. Either way, I'm still gonna be a total mess when it happens: :'( :'( especially if it's a cliffhanger or if incident A and M are on the same episode and I would probably lose it

Since it's Heartstrings month and I've gone back to lurking, I decided to share my history with our Dooley Couple
It all started when I begun marathoning You're Beautiful on the summer (April) of 2011 (or was it December 2010?). It was Shin Woo who immediately caught my eye and pretty soon I was shipping him with Mi Nam. There were a lot of memorable scenes between these two but this was the one that sold me. It was a tear-jerking moment that made me believe Shin Woo was the one with genuine feelings towards Mi Nam. I desperately wanted them to be together. But of drama writers wanted our heroine with the "OTHER" guy.
I didn't get the ending I wanted so I dreamed of Yong Hwa and Shin Hye to be in a drama. Really bad. A few months/ weeks (curse my memory) and countless google searches, I found out that they were cast in a new drama and this time as the main pair. THANK YOU DRAMA GODS!! I was freaking happy. Freaking excited. I've never felt so happy about a drama news ever. Granted Heartstrings was the 3rd drama I've watched in full but that doesn't matter because I was over the moon! I waited patiently for the videos, for the subs, and the recaps at dramabeans. I know some people didn't like it (my sister included) but PARK SHIN HYE AND YONG HWA IN A FREAKING DRAMA KISSING, DATING, AND HOLDING HANDS. Pretty soon, I became emotionally invested in the drama and these two. I applied for admin position on Dooley FB page. Entered Heartstrings YesStyle Outfit Collage Making Contest to win a Heartstrings OST Part 1 CD album. I joined the Dooley Couple cafe and found about the other ship. I was a newbie at spazzing and I didn't (and well still do) know how to interact online with my fellow shippers.
But I was happy that there were a lot like me who believed in this couple! I wasn't as completely active in posting but I was a happy lurker in the cafe. And then 48th Baeksang happened and my world exploded. I didn't know about the 47th Baeksang incident because the only thing in my head back then was the Heartstrings drama but this seriously sealed the deal on my Dooley ship and made me believe these two are the real thing. Not just two people with amazing chemistry while on camera but two people with a special kind of relationship outside of it.
But eventually I went back on lurker mode and will usually wait for news about YongShin just to pop in dramabeans (for upcoming drama news) or netizenbuzz. Pretty soon Heirs happened. Mirae's Choice happened. But I'm still proudly aboard the Dooley Couple ship. There are too many evidences, connections, speculations, and rumors over these two. It's not just the k-netz who feed our delusions but even the industry as well (oops got a little delusional over there hahaha)
However knowing that they're close, my dooley heart is happy. I have faith in this ship. -
